Park is close to downtown area and the staff was friendly are the only plus. I measured the distance between units and there is only 41" between my unit and the unit next to me with slideouts extended. Do not know why they even bothered putting picnic tables at the site as you couldn't use it if you wanted to. TV cable, on got a few channels, even though they list over 30. WAY over priced for bare bones campground. Other comments about airport and trains are accurate. Will not stop here again.
Easy access to the Interstate and the staff was helpful checking in. The time I was in, no one manned the office which was not a problem. The WiFi was weak, but overall I was happy with the site which was gravel and the roads were dirt which caused a lot of dust when I checked in because it was so dry. Overall I was very happy with my stay
First, my GPS didn't have the correct location on Airport Road and the sign for the Park was not clearly visible, therefore I passed the turn in twice requiring me to turn around twice and go back to the site. Was informed they just turned the cable TV off last week due to problems with the cable company. Most sites are fairly level (gravel) and they don't seem to get that much traffic, so I was able to pick a good site. They have planted trees that will eventually be in the way as they grow but for now they are okay. Would stay there again.
Very easy access to the Interstate and very friendly staff. Ameristar Security rides thru. Pads are only wide enough for your rig and the campground is down in a low spot. Not all pads are level. Rained the entire time of visit and you cannot get in or out of your rig without stepping in wet soggy grass. Will try another park on next visit.
Park is right off the Interstate, however GPS got me lost. Had to call the park to get to them. So, if you have a Garmin, be aware. Park is nice and plenty of space for your RV, but limited space in your site.
Park is easy access to I-80. Clean and staff very friendly. Stayed two nights and will stay again. It is an older park, but from what others have said, it is under new management and I think they are doing a great job.
The Park is nice, however, you are on top of each other. The sites are close and you share a patio with the RV beside you. Picnic tables are numbered, so you know which one is yours. We could not both put out our awnings-we were so close. Park stays full, as one pulls out, another pulls in. Next time, I will stay elsewhere.
The park has a lot of spaces that need repair. They could spend some of the money they charge to upgrade the sites because a lot have cracked asphalt, very uneven sites, and not much room if you have a tow vehicle to park. I stayed two nights and think that it is overpriced for the condition of the sites we stayed around. Laundry is $2.00 to wash and $2.00 to dry.
This camp is great if you are looking for a quiet area to get away. The new concrete sites are very level. Back in sites with a few pull in, but no pull thru. They are not on top of each other, plenty of room between you and the next site.
