We enjoyed Joshua Tree very much. One of my favorite places to rock climb and the unmaintained roads in the park are fun to take the jeep on. This campground is on the edge of the park and it takes about an hour to drive to Jumbo Rock. At the CG we had a lot of trouble getting our 40 foot rig into and out of the site and park. The roads are crumbling in and up to the park when you reach the end of the city roads and turns are very tight in the park. You are however in the desert in a national park that is not designed for big rigs. Joshua Tree is amazing but I prefer tent camping there. We would camp here again. Just not in the motor home.
We did not use the bathrooms so I can't attest to their condition. This park is on a lake. Sites are not paved, and took a bit to level. It is not a resort destination, but we would stay here again. We weren't looking for a lot of amenities just somewhere to hook up and visit family and friends. We would stay here again.
The park is beautiful with all the horses around. Sites are large and were easy for us to navigate. All are back in. The pool and tennis courts are a plus. They have a Christmas light tour starting in November which is fun. We will be back.
We have stayed here many times. For our purposes it is the best choice. The sites can be close together and it is not a newer resort, but it is safe, convenient and pleasant. The wifi works great. Cable. A large clean laundry. With PA it is half the price of the Opry area RV parks, and is only about 5 more minutes away from downtown. There is a small trail to take the dogs on. We will stay here again.
This park was great to visit the caverns. On the south side of town so you are on the road you need to drive to go there. The park has a small dog run so the dogs can get off leash a bit and have dog biscuits there. It is not brand new, but there was always someone gardening and maintaining the grounds. Friendly people. Level sites. There was a game room and indoor pool which we did not use. Would stay there again if in the area.
This park does have a lot of dirt but you are in the desert. We stayed here a couple nights to visit Albuquerque. Easy access. Plenty of room for rig. Friendly. Not a resort but safe and easy. Camping World next door, and Home Depot and Walmart a few miles East toward town. Would stay here again.
This was a great choice to explore the area - trails around this park. Sedona. Jerome. Park is easy to get in and out. (Do watch for some of the trees in the south campground as you pull around and be careful which pull through you choose) Sites Level. Friendly rangers. Fire rings. Sky full of stars. Would be a 10 if it had sewer, but that is just showing my laziness to unhook and go to the dump station during the visit. Will definitely be back.
We like this park very much. Stayed for at least a week twice. People are friendly. Right on the water near two fish markets where the fishermen come in. Pads are concrete and level. As noted before the wifi is almost unusable at times because of speed. Would definitely come back again. Rate was PA.
