We stayed here for a few days for Angels spring training baseball. From their website, this place looks pretty good so decided to give it a try. Don't be fooled, it looks really nothing like website shows, kind of deceptive. The sites are mingled in with double and single wide trailers, many of which have seen their days. The surrounding area is not the best either. Some of the positives are a very nice pool / spa, clubhouse & gym. Plenty of room at the sites. At best, use this spot as a home base to check out the surrounding areas. We would not stay here again.

We stayed here the week of Thanksgiving. This is our 3rd visit to the park, 2nd this year and we absolutely love it. We arrived in a down-pour but luckily our site drained quickly, which I cannot say for a lot of the other sites. That is really the only bummer, the sites are crushed rock, some more than others. The staff enforced the 10 p.m. quiet time since we had some potty-mouthed neighbors that was greatly appreciated. Love this place and will be back again. If you like chowder, go check out Splash Cafe in town.

We stayed here over the Labor Day weekend. It is a very nice park with a lot of activities for the kids. We booked a premium back-in site, and had plenty of room, nice grassy areas. However, these sites are right off the main road. With Labor Day the park was extremely busy with too many cars going in-and-out that made it somewhat hectic with cars, my kids, other kids, bikes, etc. We will return but will look for an interior pull-through spot without all the congestion.

We just love this park. We stayed here last July and wanted to return during the kids spring break. It did not disappoint even with the construction going on at the park. There is a lot to do and see around the Pismo area. Great atmosphere, lots to do there, and planning another return trip ASAP.

We've camped at a few different Southern CA campgrounds and this one is very nice. The price for three nights was $139.00 very, very reasonable for the amenities here. Wi-Fi worked great, good cable TV, fairly level sites, 6 small lakes to fish. The only down-side to this park is dirt campsites that made for a HUGE, MUDDY, MESS as it rained all weekend. Would rate the park higher if they had some sort of paved sites. Would stay here again.

We stayed here over the Labor Day weekend. The park is nice, well kept, clean and fun activities for the kids over the weekend. We stayed in the bay view area where our rig backed up to the bay, park area. This had its good and not so good. Great views of the bay, Coronado Bridge. Not good was the loud, boom box music coming from one of the parties at the park. Fortunately, did not last too long. Our site was very tight, nice high hedge on one side, the other side a dying hedge with no privacy at all. Window to window with our neighbor. For such an expensive park, over $300 for 3-nights, I would have expected to have WiFi at the site. Another nuisance was having to pay $5 for a key to use pool, showers, restroom. However, the $5 was refundable upon return of key. The park is nice, close to all San Diego attractions and probably will return.

As a last hurrah before my kids go back to school, we decided on a whim to give this park a try. I based this decision on all the positive reviews it has received. The positives: has lots of grassy areas between sites, somewhat level sites and fair cable TV channels. The not so good: not every site has a picnic table and firepit, has very limited WiFi, dirty bathrooms, and a constant sewer stench. We camped in site B170. Unknown to me at the time of booking, this site sits right next to a sewer pump. A call to the front desk and a visit from the ranger informed us of this fact. Didn't like his attitude about this, as he compared it to the local skunks, and also said "well you'll know not to take this site next time." Great customer relations, highly doubt we'll ever return.

We are new to the RV world and having camped at a few different places, we are getting to know what we like and dislike. Pismo Coast is definitely on top of our short list. Very family friendly, great location, can walk to the beach, drive to nearby Oceano Dunes, ride bikes to the pier, etc. Great atmosphere, had very friendly neighbors, quiet-time enforced, good staff. The only minor down-side is the crushed rock sites that made for a lot of sweeping, but no big deal. Very busy park with a lot of rigs coming and going but to be expected from such a wonderful park. Overall, very pleased and will definitely return asap.

We are new to the RV scene and wanted to stay close to home over the Memorial weekend so we decided to give this park a try. Very, very surprised. We camped in the new Cottonwood area. Area is very new, clean, lots of room between camp-sites, level , grassy areas for the kids to play on. Even caught a few small bluegill in the lakes. Only bummer was the electrical, transformer problem that left us without power, no generator, and missed the Lakers/Suns game. Overall very pleased with Rancho Jurupa and definitely will return. Since this, I purchased a portable 30 amp surge protector as I am sure we were running less than the desired 120 as the A/C was not cooling off our trailer as normal.
