This was our first trip to Twin Lakes and found that the sites were level and spacious. I would rate this one of the best places we have camped although we may have just gotten lucky with our site. We drove thought the entire campground and did find some older sections that weren't as nice. I love the way you can look at each campsite (picture) online. We will definitely camp here again. The only downfall is there is no camp store and no place within a 15 minutes drive to get ice. It was so hot we had to get ice for the ice chest every day.

Great family campground - had DJ and dancing one night, bingo another night, $1.00 ice cream sundaes two nights and they were serving very inexpensive breakfast, cheaper than we could have cooked ourselves. Creek tubing, swimming pool, miniature golf, fishing and lots of areas for the kids to ride bikes. There were at least 6 camp hosts (maybe 8) that were very helpful and friendly. The campsites, however, were small and very close together. Back in sites were not at an angle and difficult to maneuver. I'm assuming the camp hosts would help you get backed in if any trouble. Fortunately, we were in a pull through but had already booked to come back in August in a back in site on river. Concerned about getting into site as we are new to camping. We hope the camp hosts will help us get into our spot!

Great campground! There is a lot to do - hiking, lake swimming, and a great playground. We were on site #2 and a creek ran right behind the camper. We opened the window and could hear the water flowing over the rocks. I was a little concerned about being on the main entrance road, rather than the actual campground due to privacy. However, when we go back, we will ask for a site in that general area again. The campsite was level and easy to get into. As we are new to camping and not experienced in "backing in to a site", this was very important to us. I can't tell you much about the other campsites as I didn't go up there to check them out. The hiking trails were great - different ones, depending on your experience and the time you had to hike. There were beautiful waterfalls even on the easier, shorter trail. We were there at Easter and there was an Easter egg hunt for the kids. We will be back!

This was the first campground we visited after purchasing a travel trailer. We really loved the campground and are ready to go back. We hope to be able to get a waterfront campsite the next time. We had a little bit of a problem getting into our site (back in) because we were new. Immediately someone came to help us out. We had been there only two hours and a group of campers invited us out on their boat. It seemed that because we were recognized as "newbies", people were coming from everywhere to help us out and offer their assistance if we needed it. There were some very large campsites on the backside. Sites were level. Some of the sites allowed you to dock your boat right there at your site. People on the waterfront were able to fish from their site. There was a nice lake front area to walk around, a boat ramp and a well stocked store. The people working there were very friendly and helpful. We will be back soon!!

We have camped here three times in 2008 - February, March and April. It is very close to where we live so it's a nice place to go for a weekend trip. Some of the sites are hard to get into as they don't cut a lot a trees down. Some are also uneven. You really need to be careful which site you select. However, if you get the right site, it is really a nice place to camp. There were two camp hosts on our last trip. We had a problem putting our awning up when a storm was coming. One of the hosts came over and helped us. I noticed the same host repeatedly helped campers get backed into the sites and made sure all was OK. The park has a lot of hiking trails. Otherwise, it's a nice, relaxing place to me.
