Very nice place with clean facilities. Lots of activities just for guests. The cost is high, but when considered with the $15 parking per day at each park, and the included transportation throughout the Disney World area, it was worth it! About 30 minutes to get to any part of Disney World. The 4 extra magic hours you get each day for the parks also was a good compensation for the costs. The WiFi was annoying, as they gave you a cable modem with one Ethernet connection at $10 per day, but I was able to setup my laptop as an access point and get all the rest of our devices connected. WiFi should have been included and cover the park.
Very nice place, with a minor issue with the level of some sites. We had to move around a couple of times to get a level spot. Very friendly and helpful staff, even the after hours guy was great. Clean and well designed bathrooms and showers.
This is the second time we have stayed at this site, on the same trip. It was a wonderful place to stay, with a pad right on the ocean and seeing the sun come up over the ocean. Very relaxing and the beach seems to only be used by the guests at the RV park. Friendly staff and nice clean washrooms. We would certainly stay here again, even with the higher cost.
Nice and clean and in general a good place to stay. Two issues we had were that the hours of operation for all facilities were very short. The laundry was locked until after 9 AM, and closed at 9 PM; the pool was open from 10 AM until dusk. The other issue was that the Internet was "throttled", meaning that you could not download faster than about 10 kps (average is around 250, without other traffic). Made for very slow surfing. The showers were kind of dirty, as well, not just unclean, but moldy grout.
A very wonderful park to stay at! We only needed one night, so we called ahead and paid. Friendly reservation staff, clean restrooms, lovely shaded grounds with big trees. This looks to have been a private yard converted to RV use, and was very clean and neat. One small downside was that the pool did not allow ANY toys, which was a sad note for our kids. Another was that the grounds keeper staff was a bit rude. Very clean and safe place to stay, and very easy to find. Something that seems a real shame with almost every place we stayed at in the U.S. was the lack of recycling. It was very hard for us, after years of putting bottles and cans into recycling, to just throw them all away.
A marvelous RV park, a few blocks from the French Quarter. The owner of this park also owns most of the empty land around it, but the area is undeveloped. Very friendly staff and reasonable rates, considering how close they are to the heart of New Orleans. The price started at $69 for two, plus $10 for each additional person, with some allowance for kids (we had 4 adults and three kids.) A couple of issues we had: 1) No shade. We arrived during a hot, hot month, and without A/C we would have died! It is one, big concrete RV slab, with grass and buildings. Nicely laid out though. 2) Security. Outside of the great security in the Park itself, residents and staff warned us many times against walking to or from the Park after dark. While nothing happened during our stay, that implies a real issue with local crime. 3) Something that seems a real shame with almost every place we stayed at in the U.S. was the lack of recycling. It was very hard for us, after years of putting bottles and cans into recycling, to just throw them all away.
