We stayed at the campground for a family reunion. Overall we enjoyed our stay. The bathrooms were clean and we enjoyed the swimming pool. The sites have concrete pads for the trailer, but no patio pad for your picnic table. We had mud build up in front of the entrance to the trailer from the rain we had. I asked management if they could bring some gravel to help out with the mud. They brought in two loads of gravel, but I had to spread it out because the manager said that they did not have the resources to help out. Ten Killer Lake a few miles from the campground was awesome! The only negative thing to say about this campground is the location of the dumpster. It's way out there. With the amount of staff I saw working around the campground, I don't see why they could not have a morning trash pick up. This and patio pads would make the sites even better. I would return if in the area.
This is a great campground for families with children - nice pool with lazy river, large game room with snack bar, nice camp store, and easy access to the beach. Lots to do in the local area - highly recommend Medieval Times, The Palace Theatre, and Broadway at the Beach. Fourth of July fireworks easily seen from the beach. Only drawback during this visit was an over abundance of golf carts driven by teenagers and even some irresponsible adults in the campground.
Had a great time! Stayed here for 10 nights in the 700 loop. Backing in to the site was tight, but we managed. The only problem we experienced was that when it rained, water accumulated under our steps and soaked the outdoor rug we normally use. Not a huge problem though, we simply put the rug away when it dried and swept the water away after each rain. Other than that the campground was immacculate and we were never bored. The transportation to and from the parks was excellent and the drivers were always friendly and informative. The cast members working at the campground were great too! Do not miss the "Hoop Dee Doo Review" - it was fabulous, funny, and one of our most memorable experiences!
Stayed here overnight during our trip to Florida. It is a very nice campground and the staff were great. Had problems getting the WIFI to work that night and I heard others talking about it. It was up and running when I logged on the next morning. Made reservations to stay here overnight again on our return trip home.
Stayed here during Memorial Day Weekend for the third straight year. Every year we seem to enjoy it more. Already made reservations for next year. Definitely a great family camp ground. Staff were great and the facilities excellent! Looking forward to next year!
Great campground! Owner was very friendly helpful and even plotted on a map places of interest to visit. The pull thru sites all seem to be level and the bathroom and the whole campground was cleaned. Great view of the mountains. Looking forward to returning next year.
Easy access to I64. They have a nice pool and clean facilities. Sites seem to be almost level with shade. Some had concrete pads others didn't. Game room needs new equipment. Stayed here to go to Bush Gardens. Will return to visit Williamsburg.
The staff were very friendly and helpful. We had a pull thru side in the F section (F1) next to the Pavilion. Plenty of space to open the flour slides. There's a bit of road noise, but it was tolerable. If you get this site and are planning on leaving early Sunday morning beware that Church services are held at the Pavilion in the morning and they use the whole area to park the cars. Overall we had a great stay. We will go back at another time.
Very nice campground! Enjoyed our stay. Made reservations for next year's Memorial day weekend. Had some roudy neighbors that were camping with other friends/family members and played loud music and loud talking pass quiet hours. The water in the pool was mighty cold. Enjoyed the different activities for the kids and adults.
