We stayed here for 1 month while visiting family. Campsites are large, level, and very well maintained. Had a nice view of the water and the beach was wonderful. Washrooms and showers were spotless, and staff was great. Full timers are in another section with no derelict units. WiFi and TV worked fine. Like previous reports said, look the other way on the way in. We would stay here again; it is the best park by far on southern Vancouver Island.
We stayed here for a month and as previous reviews have stated, this park is getting run down. The washrooms are inadequate for the amount of campers, about 8-10 derelict old units that were full timers. Ocean front sites are nice, but old hookups, cables everywhere and an amazing view. Staff was helpful, but far from friendly. The only thing going for this park is the location.
This campground is a gem in western Kansas. Price is for 50 amp & water, dump station on site. Large sites close to lovely lake. Very nice beach area with canoe/row boat rentals on weekend. Washrooms are dated, but clean. Large trees with a nice view of the lake. Virtually nobody there until the weekend maybe 1/2 p/w sites filled up. Excellent hiking around the lake & into canyon. Make sure you go see the Monument Rocks 15 miles away. We will return.
We planned to be here 1 week and ended up staying an extra 4 days. Our second last day we had our motorhome burglarized while doing laundry on site. The staff is top notch as is the pool, washrooms very clean but dated. Most sites are a gravel pad and very close together, you stare at next's spot sewer. They have about 10 sites where there is a little room. Road noise is significant, you hear it all night/day long. Staff and fellow Rv'ers were outstanding with offers of help & money. Curiously, the owners never offered condolences or a even a break on rates while we waited for documents to arrive. I would have rated it lower if I considered the burglary. Make sure you lock your door.
We stayed for one night on the way to Santa Fe. What a great spot for 1 or 2 nights. You can choose P/W only, cable TV, or sewer, whatever you want. What a refreshing change. Campground is all gravel, a little tight in spots. Very friendly check in, nice cookout with a CW singer and an excellent pool. No road noise and a very distant train noise, but no issue. There are a few full time workers, but not too many. We will return again.
Camped here for 3 nights and enjoyed this park. Washroom is dated, but very clean with good water pressure. Large pull through sites with a majestic view of the Superstition Mountains. Temperatures were high 90's and needed the A/C. Only a handful of campers due to the heat. Park is in excellent condition with good walking trails and clean sites. We will return.
Excellent RV park just off Hwy 101. There was some road noise, but not too much. Staff was very helpful and kept the park very clean. Full hookups, with cable TV. For an RV park the sites were spacious and not too close together, sites are gravel and level. Washrooms were very clean and the amazing Redwoods are 10 minutes away with 1st class hiking and visitor center. Firewood was available at the park and also not far away. We would stay here again.
Excellent Forest Service campground. Large level paved sites in the trees or some in a grassy area. We took a site in the trees with 30 amp hook-up no water and no dump station, plenty of room for slideouts and awnings. Also some sites with no hookups. Host was excellent. Washrooms were sparkling clean and excellent hiking trails to the dunes and the beach. Host did not sell firewood, but lots close by. Would have given this a 10 rating with water and dump station.
Nice state park campground. We were in C loop and the sites were large but close together. Sort walk to an amazing beach, many trails nearby, and the campsite was very quiet at night. Hosts drove around frequently selling firewood and helping out. Would definitely stay here again.
Amazing Forest service campground. No hookups but the sites are large and very private, paved and level and lots of room for slideouts and awnings. Only one loop open when we arrived as the campground was closing in 10 days. No problem with a 35' Class A. Quiet & peaceful does not adequately describe the tranquility of this place. Very nice trail system for walking. We will be back again next year for 3-4 days.
This our second trip to Grayland beach and we love it. Our site was a back in with a short walk over the dune to an amazing beach. The sites are large, level and paved. Washrooms and showers very close and clean. Our site had 50 amp and water. Sites in the trees with a longer walk to the beach were full hook-up. We prefer the proximity to the beach. Nice fire pit with picnic table. We will be back again and again.
Very nice campground, full hook ups and lots of space between sites. Our site had a great view of the lake. Lots of trails to explore. No firewood and host did not sell any. Great campground for families.
