As close to perfect as possible, for winter in New England. I stayed here 30 years ago, and still remembered it and returned, from Alabama. We even had wild turkeys in the park a couple of days before Thanksgiving. This is the most complete and professionally managed RV resort that I have ever seen, and I have paid much more for much less. We have toured Boston downtown, North Shore, South Shore and Cape Cod from here. The park is immaculate, as are the bath houses and showers.

The City of St. Albans is to be commended for such a beautiful park, and for making it available for small RVs. There is a donation box, and a 2 night limit. The view of the river is beautiful, and the park is on the bank of the river. There is a busy highway beside the park, with stores and restaurants across the street. There is 120v 15 amp electrical service, but no 30-50 amp service. the only water is available at the dump station, so you can refill your water supply tank. The bathrooms had graffiti, but appeared clean, but no showers. There is a 2 day stay limit. I stayed 2 days, and would love to return, if ever in the Charleston, WV area again. The fee was free but there is a donations box.

I chose this campground because I fell in love with Mexico Beach. The managers are very friendly and very helpful. We call with no notice,Memorial Day weekend, and they promised me a spot in their overflow lot, but without full hookups. However, there another camper with reservations was a day late, and I was given that spot for one night. I liked it so much that I stayed an extra night in the overflow lot. I was able to park my motor home on the shoulder of the highway, and enjoy the beach during the day, and return to the campground later. I love this place. It is not fancy, but has 30 amp full hookups, in a fantastic location.

This is a fabulous RV Resort, in every way. WiFi was an issue, as I was on business in Marco Island, but was assigned a lot only 100 yards from the clubhouse, where WIfi was available. The grounds were meticulously landscaped, and even though it was the off-season, everything was spotlessly clean. There is a beautiful pool and spa, nice big clean bathrooms and showers. There are no pull throughs, but each lot seems to have hookups on both sides, for convenience. I have only found one RV Resort nicer, and the other was priced three times as much as this. I WOULD LOVE TO VISIT AGAIN, AND STAY LONGER.

I found this campground very convenient, operated very professionally, and very clean, and quiet. Prior reviews warned of the railroad track noise, but I stayed almost a week, and hardly noticed the few local trains. Cable TV is available, but extra. Although I did not use the showers, I was impressed that each shower was separate, with a locked door and a key is issued. There is a huge RV sales/service operation next door. I was in Louisville on business and have found that staying across the river in Indiana is very convenient, and only 10 minutes from downtown Louisville.

Wonderful location, across the highway from the beach, and backs up to a river across from Ono Island. Other wonderful beaches nearby, as well as shopping and restaurants. We dropped our tow car before driving in, and had to turn around in the circle with our tow dolly trailer, and it was very tight. A full timer with a beautiful rig nearby helped me to make the turn, and back into my slip. The bathrooms were very clean, and to quote my son, who said that he had never smelled bathrooms that smelled so nice. Everyone was very courteous and we plan to return many more times.

If RV parks were rated with stars, as are hotels, then Blue Water Key RV Resort would be a true 4 or 5 star rated resort. I never envisioned such a paradise, as I found there. Although I paid $138 per night, plus tax, it was a bargain. Each site had large palm trees and lush tropical foliage, separating each site for privacy and shade. Our site was ocean front, and shared a private boat/swim dock. Each also had a private tiki hut with picnic table/bench seats. The pool was both heated and cooled for year around pleasure. I will be back there again. They stay booked a year in advance.
