Reasonably level gravel sites, paved roads, restroom/showers were private and clean. Though right of a busy road - road noise was not a problem. Friendly staff. Not much in the way of trees or shade. Easy walking distance to Beef O'Brady's, Subway and an excellent Mexican restaurant Casa Mexicana. If you like good Tex-Mex- it's for you. We would stay again.
This is a very nice park with lots of open land, shade trees, concrete pad on our pull-through site. Good cable TV and Wi-Fi. Very nice staff: bag of popcorn and a USA Today given at check-in. Good restroom/showers. Some hiway noise, but not enough to keep us awake. A definite stay again park if in area.
We were in one of the newer sites: #53, a gravel site cut into hill with a block retaining wall on both sides. Reasonably quiet park. Not the easiest off/on interstate access. Cable TV was good and WiFi worked well. Would stay again if in area.
There is lots of highway noise. The restrooms and showers are old and dank. It has poor to fair gravel roads. The water hook up leaked. There are lots of permanent residents, some with loud barking dogs. We travel with our dogs and understand some barking, but this was quite a bit. The staff is friendly. Our gravel site was not very level. There are some shade trees. The Wi-Fi was OK. We would not stay again.
Easy walk to multiple restaurants and fast food if you are tired of cooking. Clean, small park, with gravel sites and roads, decent grass and shade trees. There is no cable TV. Friendly staff. Easy off/on interstate. Clean, well maintained restrooms/showers. Would stay again.
The main attraction for this park is that it is at the foot of Devil's Tower. Sites have good room between neighbors, sites are mostly grass with some gravel. Wi-Fi was good but dropped out during the afternoon of our arrival. Friendly staff. We arrived late in season, so some amenities unavailable. Great view of the Tower!! If in the area would stay again.
While this park does have some very nice sites, it is tightly packed and some are awkward to access. We were first given a site with no water hookup, and the electric and cable TV on the passenger side of coach. We ended up parking across 3 very short back in sites along one of the entrance/exit roads of the park. Cable TV was good, as was the WiFi, but we were also right by the office. Very friendly, helpful staff: very knowledgable about the area. Stay 6 nights get 7th free during our visit. Restrooms/showers were very clean. Good laundry facilities. Very convenient for visiting Cody. Buffalo Bill museum was certainly worth seeing. The park is 52 miles from the East entrance to Yellowstone, so its quite a roundtrip trek. There are only 2 parks closer if you need full hookups. We would not stay again if we ever visited Cody again.
Friendly staff, very clean restrooms/shower facilities, good cable TV, Wi-Fi was good, lots of trees for shade. Site was reasonably level. Easy off/on to I-90. Great walking trail for walking the dogs. Deer (mother and 2 young), wild turkeys and 3 roosters are also residents. We would absolutely stay again if in area.
Nice park with easy access from intestate. Pretty breezy during our visit. Restrooms and showers were clean and well maintained. Staff was very friendly and do a good job keeping park in great condition. Gravel site pretty level and required just minor leveling. Nice grass between sites. Nice, well maintained amenities, pool, mini-golf, playground, etc. Fenced pet playground. Great mountain view. Good restaurants in town just across interstate from park. Would stay again if in area.
As per other reviews, no shade and pretty windy. Paved roads and level concrete pads, no need to use levelers. Clean private restrooms and showers. Free VIP card gives a 20% discount. Restaurant prices are now $7.20 for breakfast and $12.00 for dinner after the 20% discount. We tried dinner. Choices were limited and food only average. Friendly staff. Nice clubhouse and pool/spa area. We would stay again if in area.
Very nice large trees, and landscaping. We had a premier site thus the higher rate. It was very nice but not the most level. Thank goodness for hydraulic levelers. We were in site 117 which is near one of the corners the park. We experienced quite a bit of road noise. The office has very little in the way of supplies, but many stores are available nearby. We would stay again if in the area.
As per previous reviews, the park negatives are: no trees or shade, bright lights at night, store has next to nothing available. WiFi was so slow to be almost unusable. Park positives included a nice fenced area for dogs, friendly office staff, pool was small, but clean. The restroom and showers were small but appeared to be clean and reasonably maintained. Would only stay again if had no other choice available.
Knowing that the area was getting a lot of rain and after reading the reviews on this site, we upgraded to an executive site. When we arrived, the regular sites were fine, no flooding. The executive site was very nice concrete parking pad and patio, shade trees, shrubs, table and chairs, grill, and swing. Park personnel were very nice, escorted to our site. Water and sewer hookups sanitized. Pool, mini-golf, and playground looked nice, but we didn't use. Didn't try to hook up to WiFi, so can't comment on that. Private restrooms with toilet, sink, small shower were clean and looked well maintained. Overall a very nice experience, would certainly stay again.
We stayed 5 nights in mid May and had 1 free night. The KOA website, where we made the reservation, does not tell you there is a $2 per night fee for each pet. We travel with 3 dogs, so an extra $6 per night. The restrooms and showers are clean and well maintained. Showers are in individual rooms for good privacy, but a little on the small side. We did not try the pancake breakfast as the eating area is outdoors and it was pretty cold and windy. Snowed one day. Cable TV reception was poor on some channels and good on others. If we were in the area again we would probably try one of the other many, many campgrounds there.
This is an older park with older restroom facilities that are not as well maintained as some other older parks. The entrance to the park is easy to miss. Park is located right next to I-75. We were there the Thursday before Memorial Day and the park was pretty full. Wi-Fi and cable are an extra charge. Not a lot of light. Seemed to have a number of long term residents. We would not stay again.
This was our second visit to this park, both times in November. No amenities to speak of. Big draw is the ocean. Oceanfront sites are exactly that - oceanfront! Hookups are all side by side which means your door will face your neighbor's door. W-Fi signal is very weak and drops out frequently. We were there over Thanksgiving and the park was almost full, but all the campers seemed nice and friendly. We will stay again, because you can't beat the ocean view.
