We loved this place. People were great! We were able to go out back and boon dock so our 2 Basenjis could play in the desert. Had room inside but we chose to stay in the Mojave. Had access to the pool and showers which were spotless. We will come back here.
This is someone's idea of a joke when they say Country Club Resort. Lots of older permanent rigs here, some for many years. We had a hard time finding anyone to answer the phone at the office. Ending up getting the last place in the park and it was next to the management permanent double wide. Had hookups but that was all. This place needs lots of maintenance and up-grading. Guess the crowded conditions are because of the boom in the oil patch right now. We will not go back.
Past reviews were correct, this is a nice level place to stay. But they did not mention how close I-10 and the railroad were. Rather strange way to enter off the highway. The pet area is off to the side in some cactus. We only stayed one night and the next morning it was cold and windy so we hurried to unhook and go.
Nice location just off the highway, but noise was not noticeable. The pool is small but clean and cool. The old cotton gin is a treasure and the owner is a friendly lady. Very hot when we were there but this is a record summer for Texas. The showers were clean and very large. We did not stay for the continental breakfast, but is in the office area.
Great park in the High Desert of New Mexico. Wonderful hosts. Clean showers and laundry room. Small store on site. Big wide sites are level and graveled. One mile loop into the desert is great for walks and dog exercise. We definitely plan to return as it is a welcome respite from heat back home in the summer.
