Great recreation area but, the RV sites are set up really weird. Half the sites have the picnic table on the wrong side of parking area. Also, almost all the sites have electric on one side and water on the other. Other then those few things everything else looked pretty good.
Great park. We stayed here for my daughters soccer tourney and will definitely be staying again soon for another tourney. The only downside is there are no restrooms/showers. There are full hookups, but be aware cable TV is not available in the pull through sites, only at the back-ins. They have this posted but I got in pretty late and didn't see it until the next morning and I was already hooked up. The on site manager was really cool. Nice place for a great rate.
This was our first experience in an RV. We purchased our RV from Lazydays and they gave us 2 nights in the park as part of our "orientation". The sites were really nice! Pull-through sites with cable, and full hookups. Had a nice patio too! We didn't need the Internet so nothing to say about it. Laundry rooms where really cool. You use your debit/credit card and the machine is set up to text you when the cycle is finished. Pretty cool experience for our first nights in our RV!
Arizona state parks does it again. We were truly amazed with how great this park was. Magnificent views of the Catalina's, nicely paved, roomy sites, immaculate bathrooms and showers, and lots of space in between sites. We really enjoyed ourselves here. Water and electric hookups but no sewer. We would definitely stay here again.
Staff was great! We checked in late and wonderful lady at front desk had our reservation ready than a man escorted us to our site and helped me back in. The sites were pretty tight but were level and well taken care of. The park is a little far from the city which may be good for some people. Nighttime noise was pretty minimal. We just stayed here one night being we needed to be closer to Scottsdale. Overall nice park, little pricey but, expected from KOA. We would stay here again if need be.
Great famcamp! Large level sites, full hookups. We stayed in the new area (200's) and had plenty of room on either side of us. Great base facilities and anyone who complains of the "sound if freedom" (airplane noise) needs to find a park in the middle of nowhere. The street noise was barely noticeable. Staff were extremely helpful. We stayed in overflow one night while waiting for a full site. Overflow is dry camping.
Nice little RV park right in the middle of Tempe. The spots are pretty tight. The roads in and out are pretty narrow. We were in a pull through site and had to exit down the one way entrance because I couldn't make the turn towing my car. Cable worked good, bathrooms were in good shape. We didn't use the pool but it looked decent. Had coin operated laundry facility available too.
Our families favorite state park! Beautiful views! Very big spaces, nicely spread out, restrooms/showers are top notch. The kids love climbing the peak with the caves. Campsite staff very friendly and helpful. The only thing that would make this place a 10 is having water and sewage hookups.
