This park caters to the motor home clubs. They put the motor home clubs before any other traveler. The bathrooms and laundry areas are clean. A clubhouse is available and the WiFi is decent. However, as travelers in a travel trailer, and full-timers, there were several remarks that made us uncomfortable since we did not have a "motor home" so we pulled out. We do not plan to visit here again.
This is a campground off the highway in a rural area. It has a full playground, pavilion, and block shower house. It has very large fields for running your dogs. The shower house is cleaned weekly and maintained daily. The greatest feature of this park are the owners. They are exceptionally friendly, helpful, and willing to work with any request you might have. Being full-time RV travelers since 2008, this is the only park that has ever been so friendly! I t is not a very fancy park, but it is a nice, quiet park to visit. The WiFi has been recently updated and works very well. We look forward to returning to this park the next time we are in the area.
When we arrived at this park at 5 pm. The spot we were assigned did not have any electric power. We were moved to another spot. That spot did not have any water. There was a leak in the park and water service did resume after 9pm. We were never able to access the WiFi (the office said it was "complementary" when we complained). We tried to call the after hours emergency number to report the water outage and it did not work, either. There was only one operational shower in the Women's Room, and we all had to wait in line to use it. The other two showers appeared to be in the remodeling stage. After an argument, we did receive a refund for our stay. After all, if we wanted to park without water, power or WiFi, we could have parked at a Walmart. While we understand that these things were out of the control of the park, they still made our stay miserable and the argument over a refund at the front desk made it even worse. We will not return to this park at all.
We called ahead to check availability and asked for full hookups. We were told the office would be open until 6pm. When we arrived it was just barely past 6 pm and they were closed. We had to self check in and there was a red note on all maps saying not to hookup water since it would be "below freezing." The actual low that night was 37. So, we were frustrated to not be able to use water, especially since we called first. The electric and sewage was located in the middle location, which was difficult for us to hookup since our hookups are on the back of the rig. The bathroom/showers and laundry were all clean and appeared fairly new. However, we were unable to get quarters for laundry (office was closed) and the showers were so small that in order to wash my hair I had to literally keep my nose against the wall. Overall, we would not return here again, but the park is nicely maintained and clean.
During our 1,600 mile trip, this was the best RV park we visited. The staff was friendly and accommodating. The grounds, bathrooms, office, and laundry rooms were all very clean and well maintained. We highly recommend this park!
