Fee reflects the Passport America rate, only available on Mon and Tues nights. Owners were exceptionally friendly and would rate 10/10 in our opinion. Unfortunately the campground needs some tidying and seems to be a depot for junk. The sites are all pull-through and level. Services include cable TV and good Wi-Fi connection. Laundry OK at $1 per load. Campground is full of seasonals who leave for work early in morning. Campground is immediately adjacent to 280 and the noise continues through the night. We might stop here for one evening, passing through, but would not go out of our way.
Passport America rate. We stayed five nights. Staff friendly, live on site. Laundry OK. Not the most spic-and-span modern facilities but we liked this place for total peace and quiet. Easy access and nice walking. Sites grassy but with hard surface. Cement patios. Wi-Fi excellent (we were parked near rec room). We would definitely stay here again.
Rate is per Passport America. Valid for one week. Friendly staff saved a site for us though we arrived when office closed. Tidy and clean. Easy access off I-10. Several pull-throughs. Most sites are gravel but we had to fiddle a bit for leveling. Nice little lake to walk around. Wi-Fi OK.
The rate cited is the Passport America rate, valid for a week. The host was friendly and informative. She guided us to our site on arrival. The grounds are well-maintained though the sites are a little close together. Leveling was easy on the pull-through sites. The Wi-Fi was pretty good. Easy access and about half an hour north of Panama City.
Friendly and informative staff. A little ways off the I-10 but well sign-posted and well worth it if you like an isolated and beautifully scenic location. The road in the park is sandy and bumpy. Our site was long but many are not. Reservations are critical as this is a small popular park. You're on your own for Internet service. Beautiful walking in the park along the river. We loved it here and would definitely revisit.
Beautiful sites, seemingly recently upgraded. Stunning location if you like hiking. Florida Trail across road. We booked site by phone but later found it is easier to use the on-line reservation system as parks are very crowded at this time of year. We would have liked to stay longer. Immaculate level spacious sites. Need your own Internet access. Would have loved to stay here longer.
The rate goes down dramatically if you stay longer. Our rate worked out to about $200 per month plus $40/mo electric. Also used about $40 per month propane which is delivered to site twice a week. Very friendly and informative staff, especially the manager. . Very clean and tidy park. Good laundry facilities at $1 per load. Access is easy and location is excellent, near to library and HEB grocery within walking distance. Sites were level but very narrow. This would be our big criticism as we felt our neighbors were too close. However, this is normal for RV parks in Rio Grande Valley. Lots of activities in park for seniors (park geared to age 55+) but we did not join in too much and that was fine. No pressure to do so. WiFi was iffy. Water pressure fine. Good book exchange. We would stay here again.
Senior rate: $20 per night or $375 per month. We're staying until the end of March 2013. Fabulous place. Super-friendly staff. Super-clean, including laundry and washrooms. Well-maintained pretty grounds. Double-width level sites on concrete. Wi-Fi available (distance a problem for some sites). Allowed us to park our boat beside the RV at no extra charge. Boat launch a few feet away. Some sites on the waterfront. Will definitely stay here again. Three miles from Natchez Trace and trails. Would give it a 10 but half-hour each way to grocery shopping. Otherwise, perfect.
Stunning setting. Beautiful walking trails. Quiet and spacious sites. Be sure to mention if you are in a motorhome as some of the sites are not level. Rate only included electric - no water or sewer. (Fill-up station and dump available.) Friendly staff. Used laundromat - clean and reasonable price. Wi-Fi access at some sites (but not ours).
Although out of our normal price range (cheaper if you are a NY resident), we loved it here. It was very peaceful and scenic with a friendly staff, tidy grounds, and easy access and level sites. We would stay here again.
A beautiful scenic and quiet campground set amongst white pine growth and a welcome relief after the Interstate. CCUSA rate available - check rules. Lots of sights nearby. Used laundromat which was fine. Friendly staff and good camp store. Some facilities are on small lake. Good level pull-through site. Would definitely stay here again.
Price reflects Passport America rate for water and electric only. (Used dump station on departure.) Very friendly and helpful hosts. Beautiful grounds. Swimming pool. Quiet and peaceful. Level sites. Wi-Fi only available at office. A bit far from Winnipeg and other attractions but certainly do-able. Would definitely stay here again.
Very friendly and helpful staff. Nicely maintained grounds. Tidy, clean. Roads and sites were a bit flooded and rough due to recent heavy rains. Be careful driving in. Easy access to big shopping in Yorkton. We would stay here again.
Attendant comes around or pay on honor system. 15 or 30 amp. dump station not handy for access and no rinse water: we skipped it. Very tricky to find a site. Drive carefully. Location a little south of TransCanada. Try 51.74432, 104.20206.Grass/gravel sites. We were caught in a long rainy period and park was flooded in areas. Some roads impassable. Pretty when the sun came out. Totally quiet. Very nice attendent who chatted with us awhile. OK, for a stopover. Not good for big rigs. We managed OK with 34 feet, towing a Jeep.
Price reflects rate for seniors, including water and 30 amps. Across from the big Pysanka (Easter Egg) and the tourist bureau. Friendly staff in bureau. Sites a bit soggy in the rain. Back-in sites take a bit of maneuvering. Wi-Fi not working. Basic place but fine for the price. Would stay here again. Good for passing through.
Nice location on the outskirts of town. Run by the city. Friendly staff. Brought us a newspaper! Clean and nice cared-for grounds. Close to town. Sites a bit soggy in the rain. Need a long hose for water at some sites. Wi-Fi spotty. Would stay here again.
Make sure you arrive here with water as none at site and access to tap requires driving over a dip which might not be so good for big rigs. Same problem getting to dump station. No staff. Pay on the honor system. A little awkward to park and probably not able to turn at end of road with a big rig. We unhooked the toad. Even so, we think this is a good spot. Quiet. The sites are gravel. 25 minutes to downtown Saskatoon. No Wi-Fi. Good phone signal. Would stay here again. Only 8 sites so get here by mid-day.
Nothing attractive here but OK for price. Be careful driving in - big pot holes. All back-ins so will need to unhook tow. Wi-Fi a bit spotty. Easy (40 mins) to get to all the big shopping in Lethbridge.
Good place for overnight on way to Canada. No staff. Pay by honor system. Watch for the potholes. Gravel pull-throughs on sides. Police car went by several times so security is good. Water, electric, and dump station. OK for price.
Price is Passport America rate with tax. Friendly and informative staff. Spotlessly clean grounds, laundry room, and shower room. Easy to find with good signage. Sites level, gravel and all pull-throughs. Good Wi-Fi. Good phone signal with T-Mobile. Would definitely stay here again.
5/1/13 Admin's Note: It has been reported that this park is closed, but this has not been verified. Please call ahead before trying to stay there. Second and following nights at half price (Passport America). Friendly staff. A clean park with a good laundry. Long level sites. No Wi-Fi. Good stopover park. Nice walk in town with sidewalks but there is no easily accessible hiking. Be careful to use entrance south of office.
$26 first night, then $13 (Passport America) for next 6 nights. A terrific deal. Friendly and informative host. There is a tidy, clean, good laundry facility. Close to Kolob Canyons. Easy access off I-15 but be sure to go in the correct entrance at RV park with a big rig because space is a bit tight. Sites are level and gravel with a picnic table. Good Wi-Fi. There is a book exchange and a small store. Use your water pressure regulator. Although this is a small park the owners work hard to maintain pretty grounds. I would definitely stay here again.
Beautiful setting with lovely views. Helpful staff. Tidy and cared-for lawns and plants. Easy access to RV park and close to Capital Reef NP. Long level sites with picnic tables. Excellent wifi. Camp Club USA price for first night. Would definitely stay here again.
Friendly staff, lots of good advice re local attractions, tidy and clean. Good laundry facilities, handy location just a few miles south of Moab. After first night we parked on grass for $10 per night (no hookups) for six nights. Wonderful attractions nearby, good book exchange.
