We have stayed two different times in the past two years. We have relatives in Chambersburg, and this is the closest campground around. Management is friendly, and flexible. Sites are large, grassy, clean and mostly shaded, although, some are sunny if you prefer. We stayed for two days, so sewage was not a problem, although they have a dump station available at no charge, when leaving, which we used. Negatives if any: the entire campground sits low, so when it rains severely, takes longer to drain water. Would stay again.
Our site was very sandy, and not real level. We had a water front site, but you had to literally stand to see over the vegetation to see the Saco River. Management was very friendly, camp was full on a Saturday late afternoon. Did have a tendency to smell sewage (not near our site which was at the far end of the campground, but near the entrance). Would camp here again if in the area. We were traveling through and stayed only two nights.
