We like to stop here to begin and end our summer travels. Great shopping in area and close to 805 freeway. While it is basically one BIG huge parking lot with designated RV spaces which are very narrow. They have set up a very nice pavilion with tables and barbeque along with a cozy "campfire" area for Elk travelers. Cable TV is currently not available. . . . hopefully they will find another supplier.
Brand new facility and while the amenities and staff are excellent the "sites" are not. Only about 2 or 3 sites out of 60 are level. Site #48 is one of the best. All of the (concrete pads) sites are also extremely narrow with NO entry or patio space. Hopefully they will be able to fix these issues or they won't have many return customers.
The park itself is nice enough for one night. It has easy access, hook ups, amenities etc. But it is obviously not cared for. There were tall weeds everywhere, they were especially out-of-control around the sites for long-termers. Also, there was a lot of old trash along the fence line and in the culverts. Wouldn't take my dog into their two dog runs because they were full of waste. This park is obviously not a destination location and appears to be a cash cow for these KOA owners.
