We camped here in the hottest part of the summer. There was plenty of shade and a great swimming hole area of the lake. There were paddle boats, water bikes, pontoon boats, etc. available to rent by the hour. The entire park lost power for about 7 hours which made for some uncomfortable sleeping, but it certainly wasn't the park's fault. The bathhouse was incredibly hot, sticky and smelly, which is the only reason I didn't rate the park as a 10.
