This is a nice park, renovations were in progress to update sites to 50 amp services. The only drawback would be there isn't much locally to do. The park does provide some amenities to compensate but it does offer a nicely stocked lakes/canals. Adult pool area and two other pools. And it is nicely maintained

RPI rate. I have to say this is an interesting RV Park. If RPI had a merit system which RV parks were rated, rather than the available amenities, Oak Glen Resort would be in trouble. It appears the park is having the dollars sucked out of it, and someone is letting it go. The employees are very accommodating, friendly and treat the guest very well. The shower/restroom was clean and looked nice. The individual sites, interior roads are in extremely poor condition. Pot holes, weeds, and just an unkempt appearance throughout the park. Which is split into 2 sections, one for weekend or temporary guest and one for the permanent residents. A sign saying private road end of the resort separates the 2 parks. The Parks web site said it has 182 campsites, which most are in the private residence area, which I have to admit looked like it might be better maintained, which doesn’t say much. The web site also claims it has a restaurant, I didn’t see it or any of the buildings that could hold it didn’t look like a place I would eat at. The park is nestled in a nice mountainous area and they have a tiny village of a restaurant and kiosk, petting zoo, train and some craft stores, nice for the first time but nothing like Julian area, for those who know that area. Overall the employees were very good but I didn’t leave anything there. Wi-Fi is available at $2 per night but I kept getting knocked off and had to re-login. And as an RPI guest which I had to pay an extra $4 service fee? don't understand that.
