This is our second time at this park and it won't be our last. The staff was very helpful as usual and the amenities are great. The bathrooms were clean, the pool was great, and the convenience of the bus stop for Holiday world is great. They also have many daily activities for the kids. This is just a great all around campground.

This was a nice state park. Our site was in a wooded area yet had enough space to set up with slides without a problem. We explored the park and visited the nature center. Both the center and the people that work there were wonderful. The pool was great. Very clean with slides and a little snack shop in a large sitting area. The park has many trails. This is a nice place if you want peace and quiet.

This campground has been bought by Mount Olympus and is part of their hotel chain. Good for us looking to have fun at the Dell for a reasonable price! Tickets to Mount Olympus amusement and water parks are included in your camping fee. The further out you book the less the camping rates are. I have updated the web address and reservation number. As far as the campground goes it is now called, Zeus’ Village and Camp Resort. It serves it purpose as a base to explore the Dells, and to save money on Mt. Olympus tickets. If you are looking for a great “campy” style campground this is not it. It has a nice pool that the kids enjoyed, a sand volleyball court, and some swings. Some of the camp sites were tight, but all are FHU. They had some pull-throughs which were obviously bigger. I checked out the bathroom and it had 3 showers but only 1 toilet. I don’t think that was enough for the campground. There might have been some in the hotel but I didn’t check it out. The campground was clean but more utilitarian than as a destination in itself. If you’re looking to get the most for your money at the Dells you can’t beat these prices and all you get at the Mt. Olympus parks. We will definitely be back.

This was our first time to the park. We had heard very good things about it and all the things we heard were true. The camp sites were nice. We had a pull through on asphalt. We were lucky with this because as we pulled in there was a torrent of rain that flooded other camp sites. The sites are electric only, but there are fresh water spigots throughout the campground and a dump station near the entrance. We drove over to the lodge which is about a mile from the campground. This is where the activities are located. They had a nice pool, tennis courts, basketball courts, horseback riding, and multiple walking trails. It is a very clean well maintained State Park with plenty of activities. We will be back.

We were looking forward to this park and it was great! Check in was fast and easy. The staff was very friendly. Our site was very nice with plenty of room. It has young trees so satellite reception was easy but not much in the way of shade. The pool was very nice with a nice little snack shop right by the pool. They had plenty of activities for the kids. Next to the campground are a miniature golf course, batting cages, go cart track, and arcade, as well as the activities planned by the campground. There are trains that are close and you do hear them but it didn’t bother us. My only complaint was spotty Wi-Fi. I had a great signal but it was very, very slow at times. Other than that we had a great time, we will definitely be back.

This is a great campground. Check in was fast and easy. Our site was clean and very nice. We were a short walk from the pool and snack shop. The bus stop was also a short walk. They have a shuttle service to Holiday World and other locations around the park, it is a fairly large park and this comes in handy if you don’t have a golf cart. There was plenty of activities for the kids; crafts, bingo, movie nights, karaoke. The staff was mostly teenagers but they were very helpful and courteous. Holiday World and Splashing Safari were great! We all had a blast. The town of Santa Claus is pretty small but there is a nice grocery store that has just about anything you would need. The combination of a great campground and the amusement /water parks make this a perfect destination for families. We can’t wait till our next visit!

The staff was fantastic. They escorted us to our site and helped us with tickets and show reservations. The campsites were pretty level considering the crazy topography of the Branson area. We were in a pull through site. They had a little restaurant that served breakfast and lunch. They had 2 pools, one indoor and one out. The campground was very clean, and they had a very well stocked camp store. The campground is a mile from Silver Dollar City, and they provide a free shuttle. My only complaint would be the water temperature of the indoor pool. It was COLD, and I feel that an indoor pool should be heated to a more tolerable level. Other than the cold pool water, the campground was very nice and we would stay here again.

This is a nice little campground, a perfect place to overnight. Staff was very friendly. It has all of the basic necessities one would need though not much of a camping store. If traveling with kids there is no pool, and it only has a basic swing set and horse shoes. Litchfield is 8 miles away where there is a Super-Walmart. There is nothing around the campground. As stated in other reviews I-55 is next to the campground but just far enough that there was no road noise. We would stay here again on our way south.

This is a very nice campground and the owners and staff really care about the campgrounds and the campers. As mentioned in other posts the staff is always around cleaning, trimming, picking up the garbage, doing whatever to keep the campground looking clean and fresh. Upon arrival the campground did look a little tight for a 35 foot motorhome towing with a tow dolly, but we were pleasantly surprised. The site we were on was clean with plenty of room for the slides. The kids loved the heated pool and the bathrooms were immaculate. The camp ground is a perfect location from the entertainment part of the Dells. Also as mentioned in previous post, there are train tracks across the street from the entrance to the campground. You can hear the train but how much it bothers you would be up to the individual, we’re from Chicago so the train is natural background noise to us. Train or no train, this is a very nice campground that’s in a perfect location for seeing the Dells and we will definitely be back.

This was our second time staying at this park and would definitely return again. The campground is a bit of a drive from Minneapolis / St. Paul but most of the driving is highway and once you get to know you way around its really not so bad. The amenities were great, level concrete pad with a good amount of grass, a picnic bench and a fire pit. It has paved interior roads with 24 hour security. The park is part of the Mystic Lake casino so if you want to visit the casino a bus will pick you up at your campsite with just a phone call. The bathrooms were very clean. They have their own gas and diesel pumps and an interior RV/car wash. Those traveling with kids will love Playworks. It is like a Chucky cheese and a daycare center rolled into one. You can drop your children off for a few hours to have some quiet time while the kids have a blast playing video games and climbing in the 3 story jungle gym. The campground is very clean and well maintained. My only complaint would be the laundry prices, $2.00 for wash and also for the dryer. I think that’s a little steep. Other than that this is a great campground.

This was our first time at this park and would definitely return next time we are in the Des Moines area. The park is about a 15 minute drive from West Des Moines but its all highway. The park was clean. Our camp site was reasonably level with a gravel pad and a generous amount of grass. All of the camp sites were 75 feet long. Very few trees but the surrounding countryside around the campground was very nice. The staff was very nice, upon checking they will guide you to your site and help you get all lined up with your connections. The owners were fantastic people. After talking to them for 5 minutes you feel like you've known them for years. They were very helpful in giving us suggestions on what to do in the area and provided us with all the information and directions we needed.
