Our camp site was a 10 #124. This is great campground and in a beautiful location. Easy big rig access with pull through and back in sites. Very clean and fairly new. We traveled through AR and enjoyed out stay in Hot Springs. Easy access to historical Hot Springs. My brother had some electrical problems with the 50 amp service discovered by the mobile RV tech. When we contacted the corporate office, two nights were refunded to off set the cost of the RV tech. Good customer service. The public facility is outstanding. Huge private showers / dressing rooms and a big saline pool. Pool needs more shade available there was only a couple of umbrellas / tables. Great place for a corporate facility. We will be back.
This is a very nice older park tucked in the pine trees just outside of town. Staff very friendly and helpful. Happy showed us to our site and was helpful with getting us parked. The sites are level fairly easy in and out. they are all gravel. Restrooms/showers are not air conditioned so we did not use them. It was hot while we were there. Very clean and lots of room to wander around. We has some shade from the west sun in our site. The park is on the trolley route and you can buy passes at the office. We visited other camp grounds in the area and by far Wanderlust was the nicest and had almost no perm residents. We will be back soon.
This is stop over park or a Casino stop. We were on our way to Eureka Springs and stopped over after the fist 6 hour leg of our travels. Easy access from the highway. Nice and level slips but not very wide and tiny patios - again just a nightly stop over. Staff very nice and facilities very nice. Shuttle comes to your site to take you to the casino about a mile away. It was hot when we arrive about 105 and there was plenty of power for both AC etcs. Clean park we did not need to unhook and just spent one night.
We have mixed feelings about this little park. Easy access from IH-35 just to the east. The first impressions were good. Big area, beautiful rock entry gate, lots of green grass and new trees and shrubs. Sites are packed gravel, nice and wide, easy in and out. Very quiet no highway noise. CONS: No one on sight to check you in, just a sign with a "for information call #." We left payment in drop box after picking a site. Most folks here were long term workers in the area. There were a couple FEMA trailers with the AC's running, but no one around. No pool, no Wi-FI, no cable TV and weak cell service for AT&T. There are NO street lights or lighting around the campground. After dark, you need a flashlight to walk around. Flat Creek will flood so be careful if flash flooding is forecasted. We came back from dinner with friends to find the main gate closed and we had been not give a code. The info line was answered and we got in with out a problem. Lots of potential for this little gem, but the owners need to step up and be on site. Too expensive for what you get. Doubtful we will return.
This park is well off the beaten path. It's near Pipe Creek, TX in Lakehills subdivision, located on a family owned cattle ranch. Very nice park. Gravel pads, good water, electric, and sewer. The lake is very very low so no boats allowed now. Lots of deer walking through the park. Nice pool, club house, and cabins. Great place for family to gather. Folks running the place are very friendly and helpful. Not close to a Walmart so bring your supplies. Very quite. Follow the owner's directions to the property. Google will get you lost. We will be back!!!
Memorial Day Weekend. Park was not full, staff were friendly and very helpful. We were led to our sight and offered help with parking. Office and meeting room was beautiful. Individual showers and restrooms very clean. Nice laundry. Pool was very nice but the hot tub was a little green. Looks like they were working on it. Owners had a Memorial Day Cook out / potluck but we had to leave early and could not attend. Very clean and beautiful park. A bit of I-20 noise, but the good far out weighs the bad. We have visited three times and will be back.
This is a new park. Hurricane Ike took out the family owned motel and the owners converted the property into an RV resort. Fairly small and very close to the water's edge. Park is clean, new and very nice. Pool is beautiful! Enter the park off Ferry Rd and not off Seawall drive. The main entrance is from the side upstairs near the pool. Short walk to the beach. This is a very nice park. Public areas are very nice. New, first season and looks like it will only get better. Very friendly staff! We will be back.
Beautiful park with great office / store and meeting area. Large pool and outdoor space. some sights have gas grills and you can rent a grill if needed. Sights are level and easy to get in and out. The staff was attentive and helpful. The park is in the center of Spring Tx but you would think you were in the country. Very quite and peaceful. Only draw back was the beautiful huge parrot that not only could speak, but would screech disturbing us while we were swimming. The picnic table at our sight needs to be replaced but other than these minor issues this is a must see and we plan on returning.
