This was our first ever camping adventure. Could not have picked a better park to begin with. Very roomy, lots of space between sites, and well kept. Very nice playground for kids, beautiful lake. Very friendly and helpful staff. Only negative and really not a problem with me was Wi-Fi and cell service was nonexistent. Would have given a 10 if not for that. I would definitely camp here again.
We really enjoyed this park. Very good rate for location. Plenty enough space between sites, a short walk to the ocean, very friendly staff, several playgrounds for the kids, lots of activities for kids, plenty of trees, level sites. Only negatives were Internet access near ranger station only, also was only able to get a couple of local stations on TV. But overall a very good experience and since we are only an hour and a half away, we are going back in 2 weeks. I think we have found our home campground.
Easy access, lots of space between sites. Located in a nice area of Memphis. Farmers market open on Saturday, Flea market the third weekend of each month, $3 fee for flea market, nothing to do with campground. Only negative is people who I assume oversee this park close down at 7 and will not answer the phone after that. I could see their TV on, car there and they would not answer phone. We needed password for WiFi as they did not give us that upon check in. They did return our call around 8 the next morning with password. Was not much good to us at that point.Other than the customer service, a good place for a night or 2.
We were told one rate on the phone and when we got there, we were charged a higher rate. The guy, I guess the owner, said the lady we talked to on the phone did not know what she was talking about, I assume it was his wife. Park was small and clean, WiFi was basically non existent, terrible internet access. Right on interstate, a little noisy. Nothing around this park but corn fields. Customer service was not good. Would not stay here again
