We camped here for the weekend. We came for the trout fishing and stayed at Campground 4. The campground is very nice and clean. All facilities are in excellent working order and very clean. The sites are a little bit on the small side and somewhat cramped together. We were a little disappointed that campground 4 was so far away from the fishing area. We had to drive to the spring as it was too far to walk. Campground 1 seems like a better choice for those interested in fishing.
We stayed 2 nights at campsite 4. This campsite was quite secluded, and it seemed that most other sites were also well spaced out. The campsite host was very friendly, and came by to make sure everything was OK. Site was very level and paved. The state park is fairly small, and besides numerous trails, there is little to do in the way of activities. This campground is a great place for a stop over or for a quiet weekend get-away.
