Another nice Virginia state park. The roads can be rather tight to negotiate with anything larger that a 30' unit. The Reserve America website actually states that all but 3 of the sites have a 30' length restriction, but there are a few that you could squeeze into if you are adept at backing up. They do have 3 pull thrus for units up to 36', but they go quick. One thing I didn't like about the park was that most or all of the back-in sites had you backing up to your blind (passenger)side - impossible in the dark without help. The area was nice and while the beach/swimming area had not been cleaned up yet for the season, it looked like it would be great in season.

Another very nice Virginia State Park. A number of large pull through sites to go with the large back in sites. This is also one of the state parks that offer pop-up camper rentals. We stayed there over Labor Day weekend and one of our friends took advantage of this - I believe the rate for the pop-up was $50.00 a night. The campground is a 10 minute walk from the beach and boating area. Would definitely come back again.

Nice park and a friendly staff. They have large pull thru sites, but the access roads are very tight when trying to maneuver through the campground.

The campground has just expanded and almost doubled in size. The newer area has nicely paved roads and larger sites that are easier to get in to if you have a large RV. It also has a new bathhouse and large pull through sites. The only thing it really lacks is shade - a lot of the trees were cut down to accommodate the sites. The older area needs some work - especially the roads - they were terrible. You would have thought that they would have redone the roads when the did the roads in the new part. The pool complex is fantastic with the numerous pools and water slides.
