This campground plays very loosely with the term resort. We arrived after hours. Unfortunately, they told us that the office was open 7 days a week. We must have stopped on the 8th day because the office was closed. Which was just as well. The campground looks like a closed down cattle pasture. Nothing but weeds and sticker bushes in sight. The bathrooms and showers were so filthy I would not let my dog go in there. The pool did not look like it needed cleaning--it looked like it should be filled in and flowers planted instead. The algae would make for a great science experiment. My wife refused to even stay the first night. This resort(?) should be permanently closed. We will NEVER go back.
This campground has some of the friendliest staff I have found. They are always willing to do whatevrer is necessary to make your stay memorable. Their bathrooms, showers and laundry are some of the cleanest I have found. The campground is layed out well and is easy to navigate. I highly recommend anyone travelling to Branson to give strong consideration to America's Best Campground. They certainly live up to their name.
The Summit is a very clean and well organized RV resort on the banks of the Guadalupe River with tubing and all other water sports. It is a short drive from Canyon Lake which has all the swimming and boating amenities you could want. Friendly staff and security personnel.
The staff at America's Best Campground were extremely friendly and went out of their way to make our stay enjoyable. From the moment we checked in to the the moment we left, we were treated like family. If I every have the opportunity to go back to Branson again, America's Best Campground will be the only place I will stay. The show information they provided was almost overwhelming. I don't think there was a show in Branson that they did not have information on or know about. The staff was always around tending to the campground and cleaning the restrooms and laundry area.
