Very nice state park in northern Texas, sites were fairly private with lots of overhead shade. Water and Electric were very close by. Beware if you have any part of your vehicle on the asphalt roadway you will be warned and asked to move. 1/2 inch of hitch ball was hanging over the roadway and we were cited overnight. Why someone would be that close to someone else' vehicle bothered me! Would go back again but not on a holiday weekend.
Though this was a nice area to stay overnight finding this campground was very difficult. We ended up on a locked gate road to Coon Creek and had to back up for 1/4 mile to turn around. Each campsite shares water with the next so have lots of water hose to get water to your RV. The stream running by was quiet and peaceful but after the adventure we had getting there I doubt we would try this spot again!
This was a nice cg however sites were rather close together for a State Park!. They came and mowed the weeds while we were gone and there was lots of debris left which we had to blow off or track in the trailer. Sites are long and have nice fire rings at the ends. Fairly easy to get in and out of the campsites.
Stayed here during Fall Fest Geocaching with group from Tulsa. We were assigned a spot in the equestrian area next to horse pens. With rain it was rather smelly but site was roomy and level. Would stay here again if not in the horse area.
This is a new campground but has so much potential. Not much shade but the sites were level and fairly spacious. Laundromat was very clean. Wi-fi was excellent and there was a book swap area. : ) Owners were delightful and very helpful. Would definitely stay here again.
Beautifully kept campground but sites are very close together. Stream is on the other side of a well traveled road. Owners were helpful, they parked our 33 ft travel trailer due to how close the sites were. Would check out other campgrounds in this town before staying here again. Even if it is clean and well maintained I prefer space over cute decorations. Rather steep rates for what we had there. Stayed 3 days
This is an incredible campground. We stayed here 4 days visiting all the waterfalls and wineries and did geocaching. It was very quiet, roomy, clean and everyone was so nice and helpful. Wi-fi service is only at the Country Store/laundromat area. The laundromat is is very clean and well kept. Would definitely come back here again.
I was very disappointed in this campground. It was difficult to locate, the roads in the immediate campground were in deplorable condition. Sites are gravel but fairly level. The area around the water faucet needed gravel and was very muddy. Would not stay in this area again.
Wow, what a beautiful campground! We stayed in site 39 and had a very restful time. Sites are level, spacious with easy access. Would definitely stay at this campground again. Very peaceful and helpful staff too!
Though we stayed here only one night, I would definitely recommend this RV campground. Everyone was so very helpful, kind, and knowledgeable. Sites are level and very spacious as well as beautifully maintained. Laundromat was awesome. Would stay here again anytime on our way east.
This was first time at this campground. It was awesome even for a hot August. Beautiful sites we were in site #4. Has pull through sites, covered eating area, lake front view, grill and fire rings. We were there in a 33 ft travel trailer, and our rate was a senior rate. No playground facilities for grand children but they had so much fun with other things that they did not miss it. The restrooms are chemical toilets. Will definitely be back!
