It gad everything we wanted. It is close to the entrance of Acadia National Park, has full-hookups, beautifully wooded natural setting, well-equipped laundry facilities, helpful hosts. It was much less money than the competition.
This was the most expensive campground we stayed during a three week trip, and we didn't even have an ocean-front site. We paid less per night in Bar Harbor! The advertised free WiFi turned out to be a 30 minute free trial that didn't work at all for us. There was no cell phone connection possible and the pay phone was out of order. The sites away from the ocean were very plain - full hook-ups, but just a grassy field. It is definitely not a place for people passing through.
