Hot and Dusty. It's a safe, nice park when just passing through, but I can't imagine staying a long time. There is a nice doggie area that we liked. All hookups worked out OK. Maybe nicer in the winter months.
Stayed here as a stopover. For one night, this park is convenient to freeway without being too noisy. Whoever designed the pull through sites has never hooked up with a trailer connected. The sewer connection can't be reached without unhooking the toad. Overall, it worked OK for one night. Much longer than that would be a no.
We loved this place! Yes, it's not perfect, but it's so peaceful and outdoorsy. Your chances of getting sewer is very small, but there is a dump at the entrance. Great little trail a short walk from our site. Dogs loved to play at hunting. We only stayed one night and all worked well. There is no cable, pool, or clubhouse but there is a convenience/gas station across the street.
A 9.5 rating! I loved this place. It was quiet, wooded, homey and perfect for me, a southern boy. That said, there are some permanent residents who kind of act like they own the place, and the managers are super picky. My car will hardly go 5 miles an hour. Relax, 7 MPH is not going kill anyone. No bathhouse, no pool, no clubhouse, yet I still gave high ratings. It is a peaceful paradise. Just don't anger the sheriff(s).
Good location close to I-30 for overnight if it's too hot to dry camp at Wal-mart. Long-term no way. Just a big parking lot covered with gravel. Lot's of permanent residents giving the place a TPT feel (Trailer park Tr***). That being said, had no problems and we were happy with the place for that one night.
This is a premium site! Very clean, safe, and well run. The nearby casino has a regular shuttle that comes by all day and night. The sites are large and very clean. Restrooms very nice, but not heated or cool so the summers could be tough. I definitely will return.
Very nice park with all the amenities needed. Very convenient to all attractions if use the shuttle. There is some road noise from the freeway, but didn't bother us at night. Only real complaint is the surrounding neighborhood - trailer park behind and elementary in front.
