We camped here as part of an FMCA rally. Very good and friendly staff. Concrete pads and grass. Large clubhouse and a great kitchen. Close to Highway 99 but not much road noise. Lots of good shopping near. A great place to stay while exploring what Bakersfield has to offer. Will return.
They claim to have over 900 sites, however between the leased sites and the sites without power the number is much smaller. Checked six sites before we found one that had good power. Seems like it would be an easy chore to mark the ones without , or low, power. This would shorten the time looking for a site. In spite of the fact that we are members we will avoid this park. There is no enforcement of the rules at the adult lodge and pool. Management has decided it is better to lease the best sites and let the weekenders/members try and find decent power. Wi-Fi is marginal at best.
We stayed here one week. Very nice staff. Paved interior roads. Friendly spot. Close to Seattle for day trips. Be sure to see Snoqualmie Falls and then the small town of Snoqualmie and visit the train museum..Good Wi-Fi at the site. Would return here again.
Very nice campground. Dirt interior roads, but if the campers don't speed it is alright. Very friendly staff. It is a membership campground with public access. We camped here for one week and will go back again. WiFi is available but not at your site. Lots to see in the area. Don't miss the High Desert Museum. It is wonderful.
A good overnight stop if you are traveling Highway 395. Easy access from the highway. Quiet at night. Walking distance to the Casino where there is good food at an economical price. Friendly staff. Good views of the lake. Have stayed here in the past and will stay again.
Weather was bad (windy) so we stayed here three days. They have a special, pay for two, stay three. Gravel sites. Nothing special. Friendly staff. Good specials on meals at the casino. Short walk to casino. Would stay here again.
We spent two weeks here. Great place for a base while visiting Organ Pipe. Full hook ups and very friendly staff. Great hiking and you may even see wild burros on your walk. You will, for sure hear them at night. Nice, out of the way place to stay. This was our second visit and we will return next year.
We camped here as part of an FMCA Chapter Rally. The park was clean and very well kept. Little or no noise at night. The staff was very friendly and attentive to our needs. Free coffee and donuts every morning. One of our members had recent knee surgery and the manager provided a golf cart so she could travel from her site to the meeting area. Highly recommend this park. A pleasant place to stay with pleasant people managing it..
Nice Park. Friendly staff. Stay an extra day and go and visit the National Monument at the Federal Building. Ask the staff the best way to get there and save parking fees. Get a free trolley ride on the way.
We stayed here as part of an FMCA Chapter Rally. The facilities were excellent. They even provided a large BBQ and furnished the wood. Kitchen facilities were great as was the lodge area where we dined and played cards. There is a lot to see and do in the area. Be sure to visit the Estella Warbirds Museum just up the road and visit the many wineries in the area. We will return next year and enjoy the area.
Very friendly. Lots of room for hiking and bike riding. Quiet nights. Clean level sites. Take a hike and you may see wild donkeys in the desert or hear them at night around your camp. A great place to get away from the hustle and bustle of everyday life.
