Great place for an overnight stay. Big pull through sites, many with 50amp. Pool smaller in size but not tiny as compared with others we have seen. It was very clean. Kids from the adjacent mobile home park were here as were several locals, it appeared. No trouble for us. Not a lot of shade but big sites. Easy in and out with a big rig. Sewer caps are missing on many sites. Pond appears to have lots off fish. Resident geese to feed as well, and surprisingly well behaved when fed! Wouldn't want to stay a week, but overnight was great.

Awesome little spot just below the dam of Pomme de Terre Lake. We camp here in our 40' motorhome a lot. We think it's a hidden gem. There is lots of space between campsites and lots of big big trees. Has a newly finished nature trail through woods. The one bad thing I can tell you is that sometimes during warmer months the river smells very bad. It is usually when they are not pulling much water out of the lake. There is a playground, tennis courts, basketball goal, pavilions, baseball diamond, and group camp area. This is a Corps of Engineers Park. Only 14 sites are electric. And only about half would be good for a bigger rig.

Only good for a place to sleep. Pool filled in with rocks and it was more of a hot tub size to begin with. Many campers here appear to be semi permanent. Very small sites. Big lagoon next to it. No lake by campground.

Only a few big rig sites. Not easy to get into. Located on major two lane road and there is lots of road noise for the big rig sites. Website photos make this park look so big and it is actually VERY small! Small camper and tent sites look to be pretty small and rough. Kid friendly activities. Clean. Well taken care of. Road noise nearly ruins it though. We were in #79 which is actually a work camper site and first site on road. (20yds off road). Easy access to Estes Park and RMNP. We would probably not stay here again and would try somewhere else although not much to choose from around Estes. Estes does not have big rig parking. They claim to but we wouldn't try it!
