We didn't stay here. After our drive through, seeing some sites that hadn't been mowed, most sites not occupied, and swarms of mosquitoes, we decided it wasn't our cup of tea. We frequently stay in SRS campgrounds but not this one.
We pulled into a dry site in the Marathon portion of the park, right on the bay with mountains across the water. Just stunning. The bad news is that this park is close to the harbor so you hear the boats go out early in the AM and if a cruise ship came in during the night, you will awake to their broadcast announcements for their passengers. But, the view trumps all. We walked to town for meals and for our tours. We would definitely stay here again!
Right on the highway just north of the park. Clean, wonderful owners, nice gift shop. Laundry very clean and pleasant as were showers/bathrooms. Full but quiet except for some highway noise which did not bother us....it was cool so windows were closed.
We were here over a busy Fourth of July weekend so the park was full. Our site was riverfront so nice view, but a little close to the tent sites. No privacy. Other sites looked more private with trees in between. Management pleasant and helpful. Shuttle bus to tours.
Sites are private with trees between. Good WiFi from site directly behind the office. Laundry room clean and in working order. Restroom/shower room clean, bright and cheery. Nightly entertainment corny at times but great fun.
Very clean and well maintained. Friendly check-in. Level sites. Full hookup. Quite a few construction workers but many other available sites. They leave for work starting about 4:30...a problem only if you sleep with windows open.
The rate cited reflects the Senior Pass rate. Very friendly and helpful staff. Our site had an incredible view of the lake and nice privacy. We did not use the restrooms or showers but saw staff cleaning the outside of the windows so have to guess the inside was clean too. One of the nicest campgrounds we've experienced. We plan to go back!
Very confusing signage. No one is in campground entrance building until 5 PM. Other hours, you must go into town to the park headquarters to register. Many permanent/seasonals--junky and not well kept. A dozen or so small sites for overnight stay. We would not stay here again.
Mostly seasonal but 30-some transient sites. Full. Lots of families. We expected lots of noise but it was very quiet overnight. Walk across the street to the lake. Nice walkway along the lake. Nearby restaurants within walking distance. Very friendly owner. We stayed one night. Would stay again.
We stayed here because our grandson is permanently camped here - oil field work. Most of the sites are permanent. All dirt with no grass in the parking area. Rate was high, no discounts for anyone. With the oil workers, they can get that price. Owner was very nice, but we would not stay here again.
Small campground at the city's ballfields. Nice walking trail around the ballfields. We watched a "beer" game played - great entertainment. Quiet at night. One train passed close by in the middle of the night but no horn. Nice for overnight stay.
Small campground near the city's pool and ballfields. Some sites wooded, some open. Showers and restrooms at the nearby city pool. Looks like it would be a great place for families in the summer with the pool nearby. We overnighted here and would do so again.
The owner of this park was exceptionally friendly. Led us to our level spot, made sure we got hooked up OK, and told us of the free firewood stacked around the property. Loaned us a cable for TV hookup. Most sites are permanent seasonal units but are very clean and neat. The restrooms and laundry room are spotless! We would definitely stay here again.
