We stayed here for a week with some other snowbirds. We love Destin but usually stay at another park. This park has loud construction sites on both sides of the park. The workers using large generators started them about 6 in the morning. The amenities are just OK. This park is definitely not worth the price they are charging. The manager said the going rate during the on season was $109.00. I about dropped my drawers. Not worth the price. Try another place instead. Lovely!
A bit hard to find because the address on (non rv park) web site is wrong. Well worth the trouble. Owner and manager went out of their way to accommodate us and even loaned me their battery charger. No club discounts and no credit cards but a great value. Excellent place for an overnight rest and even for a long term stay. Only a few permanent residents and the park was run well. Surrounded by farm fields and we felt very safe.
No landscaping and loose dogs in the campground. Wi-Fi did not work. Water, sewer and electric were fine. Location is not convenient to interstate travel. Facilities were overall run-down. We would not return.
Nice for an overnight. One half mile off interstate 10 and quiet. Many full time residents. Full pull-through, which was convenient with a toad. Campground is old and set behind then owners' house. Roads were partially paved but sites were close together. Water, sewer, power and cable were good. Wi-Fi was OK using a booster antenna in the coach.
