Very nice park but overpriced. Level cement pads, good cable and WiFi. Close to downtown St. Charles and easy highway access. Just don't think their rates are reasonable. Have stayed in parks this nice for less money. Will have to consider whether I would stay here again.
This is a relatively new park. Great cable TV and wi-fi. Long, level, gravel, pull through sites. Be sure to call for reservations if you want your Good Sam or FMCA discounts. Online reservations do not recognize them. With shade trees, this park would get a 9. Would stay here again.
Pros - long level pull through sites, very clean park, good Wi-Fi if you're close to the office, close to the highway. Cons - poor TV reception on the antenna. GPS will take you in the back way. Don't follow what it tells you. Owner was friendly and we would stay here again.
I would have rated this park higher, but because they have only a Wi-Fi hotspot at the office, I gave them a 7. Apparently, it would cost the owners $20k to get Wi-Fi in the park, so I can understand why they don't want to do it. Everything else was fine. Close to the freeway and about 25 minutes from downtown.
Nice park but out of town a ways. $22 is the Passport America rate but they charge extra for cable and AC/Heater. Well kept up. Nice view of the lake if you get the right site. Most lake-front sites are seasonals. Long grassy, level sites.
Nice park. Good wifi and TV. Sites are not too close together. Dry and dusty this time of year. Had to have a repair done. Used All Campers Mobile RV Service. Highly recommend them. Would stay here again.
This is one of our favorite parks. Love sitting on the riverbank and watching the barge traffic. Good Wi-Fi and TV on the antenna. Free laundry room. Long level gravel and/or cement pads. Fairly easy to get to once you know where they are. Signs help. Will definitely stay here again.
Most of the campground is taken up with permanent residents. Some of the permanents are pretty run down. Friendly staff. Wi-Fi works only at the store. Good cable TV. OK place to stay if you don't plan on being in the campground all the time.
The only negative is the price. Too much for what you get. Yet, it is the only park close to DC. Clean park. Good TV on the antenna and WiFi worked well. Friendly staff. Unless you want to drive further, this is the park for visiting this area.
The pluses. Fairly close to Philly. We took the train so didn't have to fight downtown Philly traffic. Good cable. Some nice sites. The minuses. Some lousy sites where you are cramped in between permanent residents. Wi-Fi slow. Hard to get around the local area unless you already know it. If ever in the area gain, may try another park or ask for a better site.
DO NOT use your GPS to get here. It will take you the wrong way. Yes, there are a lot of permanent residents, kids and dogs but we weren't bothered by them. Long pull through sites. TV worked on the antenna. Wi-Fi was good.
We stayed here after the summer rush and it was quiet. Only 2 pull throughs that are really back to back back ins. Not very level and tight fit so we took another spot and disconnected our toad. Once you figured out how to access Wi-Fi, it worked well. TV on the antenna was good. Plenty of shade trees.
I would have rated this park higher if not for their attitude on the first day, that the Wi-Fi would not connect to the internet was not their problem. It was their problem and was eventually fixed. Tell customers the truth right up front. Otherwise, the park was fine. Tight spaces and turns. Nice shade trees. Would probably stay here again if in the area. Pricey.
Since we stayed here with a caravan, I don't know the nightly rate. Very clean park. Good Wi-Fi but no antenna TV reception. Would rate it a 9 or 10 if they had cable TV. Close to Royal Gorge. Canon City is 12 miles away. Friendly staff. All gravel sites. Would stay here again.
We stayed here 5 nights while on a RV caravan. Friendly work camper staff. Long level sites. Everything worked well except the Wi-Fi which was the ISP not the park's fault. Nice all you can eat breakfast available in the morning for $6.95. Would stay here again.
We stayed here for Veterans Week as guests of a member. We were with a group in section 2. Nice level sites. Antenna TV was a little limited. Wi-fi was very good. Close to the strip. Quiet. Very expensive propane so if you need some, get it beforehand. Will more than likely stay here next year with the same group.
Very nice park. Owner was extremely friendly. Sites are a little narrow due to all the shade trees - a plus. Long gravel pull throughs. Good cable and Wi-Fi. Would definitely stay here again. Cash or checks only.
Yes, there is train noise but I've found most RV parks have train noise and I just get used to it. Convenient access to Interstate. Long mostly level sites. Good Wi-Fi and I found my antenna was better than the cable. Can wash your rig at the site - a big plus if you want to get rid of bugs. Will stay here again.
This is a bare bones park when it comes to ambiance but a good park for staying close to LR. Great view of the downtown area and the river. Hookups are fine. Wi-Fi a little slow. Level gravel sites. Security provided.
We stayed here for 5 nights while attending a submarine veterans national convention. The staff could not have been more friendly and cooperating. Wifi and cable was good. Train tracks are close by but they don't bother me. Easy access to freeways. Sites are a little close but you still have your privacy. Would definitely stay here again and recommend it for veteran's get togethers.
This is the second time we have stayed here. Very clean and nice park right off I-435. Good cable and Wi-Fi. Long level sites. Taxed the 50 amp service with both AC's running all day due to a hot spell. No problems. Would stay here again if in the KC area.
The train noise is the biggest negative. They run 24/7. We asked for and got the closest site to the gulf. Could see the water across the highway. Otherwise you do not see the water. Wi-Fi was good except for a couple of slow times. Extensive cable. Friendly staff. There are no parks on the water in either Biloxi or Gulfport so if that is what you want, go elsewhere. Long, level gravel sites in the front part of the park. Nice pool area.
Nice, clean park. Sites are close together but if you have quiet neighbors, that's ok. Nice pool area. $1.00 washing machines. Very good WiFi and cable TV. Off of I-10. Roadwork to contend with outside the park. Has shade trees. Would stay here again.
Clean, friendly park. Wi-Fi is extra. No cable. Kind of tight sites to get into. Not really set up for overnight. They put you where there is a vacancy. No trash pick up unless you are there on trash day. Rate is PA. Would look for another campground if in the area again.
We spent 4 nights here right on the water [site A 14.] Beautiful sunsets, nice little sandy beach and friendly people. Not a big park but that's what we wanted. Very good WiFi and cable TV. Tight maneuvering for big rigs. Would definitely stay here again.
This is a basic campground close to the entrance to Key West. Only about 10 minutes to Duval St. Don't look for ambiance here. Some sites are pretty tight to get in to. Very good Wi-Fi close to the office. Spotty the further away you are. Good cable. Two rows are for campers the rest are for full timers. If you're here to visit KW and don't intend to spend much time in the campground, this is the place.
I would have rated this park higher except for the extremely close and tight sites. Very nice staff and pool area. Antenna brings up the local channels and Wi-Fi is extra. Close to shopping and old 41 highway. Good for a stopover.
This is a gem of a little park. Very friendly staff, long level pull throughs, excellent wifi. Cable was spotty so we used the antenna and got plenty of digital stations. Close to I-10. Plenty of shade trees which are welcome in summer. Would definitely stay here again.
We had a good experience at this CG. Wi-Fi was not working so used my data pass card. Cable was good. Friendly staff. Level gravel sites. We were on the water and yes it is a canal but still nice to sit next to. About 10 minutes from downtown via I-10. Sites were not on top of each other at least where we were. Would stay here again.
We were here for Veterans Day week as guests of a member. Folks in the office were very friendly. We were in Phase 2 which was nice. Level cement pads. Wi-Fi was sporadic. Security is good and comes around often. TV was good on the antenna. If you're Coast-to-Coast members, you get to stay in Phase 4, which is kind of a dump. I would only stay here in Phases 1 through 3.
Rate reflects cashing in bonus points which is the only reason we stayed at this park. Wi-Fi is non existent unless you take your laptop to the office. Sites are dirt, weeds and some gravel. We had a pull through for the night that required my rear jacks to fully extend to get level. This will probably be the last KOA we stay at since they all seem to have gone downhill and the price is not competitive with much better parks.
This is an extremely nice park. Long level pull throughs. Very clean. Fishing pond on property. No cable TV but antenna picked up the major stations. WiFi worked great. Owner and manager were very friendly. Would definitely stay here again.
This is now a TA park. It is right behind the TA Travel Center. OK for a one night stay. Very noisy and there is a RR track right next to the park. Lady in the office was very helpful. Pull through sites were level and concrete. Wi-Fi through the park doesn't exist. Piggybacked on another router. Cable was good. Not a destination park.
This is the best RV park we've been to while on the road for three weeks. Very well maintained. Long level concrete sites. Very good WiFi and cable TV. BBQ and table at each site. No bugs since they have an exterminator come in and spray. Wife said laundry room was one of the best she's used. Would definitely stay here again.
Our rate reflects the weekly discount. Very nice park. Clean. Level concrete sites. Wi-Fi was sporadic due to a new system being installed. When it was up, it worked fine. We used our antenna rather than the park cable. Plenty of stations from Houston. Beach is across the street and you can either walk or drive to it. Town is about 15 minutes away. Our only problem were the mosquitoes. They were out in full force due to the recent rains in TX. They did spray but there were just too many of them. Would definitely stay here again. Very friendly staff.
Second time we've stayed here. Long, level pull through sites. Good Wi-Fi and cable although they charge extra for the cable. Mosquitoes were rampant after the recent rain. Bring repellent. Since there are so many choices, I'm not sure I would stay here again until checking out some other parks.
This park needs some TLC. The grass is up to one foot high all over the park even where the permanent residents live (and there are a lot of them.) Pull through sites for overnighters are long and level but you are right on top of your neighbor. Friendly office staff. WiFi and cable TV worked ok. Good for an overnight stay only. If in the area again, I will try another park.
Very nice park close to downtown. Good cable TV and WiFi. We took the bus to the River Walk. Bus stop is right in front of the park. Very convenient. Long level pull through sites. Kind of a pain to get to, due the city traffic but once here it is worth it.
Nice park. Very good WiFi and cable TV. Big pool and hot tub. Spaces are a little too close together but with no next door neighbors, that was not a problem. Be sure to go to the 8th stoplight south of main street before turning right, even though their website says 7 lights.
Very clean and nice park. Friendly staff. Little noisy due to being close to a major highway. Good Wi-Fi and cable. Long, flat pull throughs. Tried the Italian restaurant mentioned in an earlier review and it was excellent. Reasonable prices and if you want to bring in your own wine or beer, that's OK. Would definitely stay here again.
Pulled in here just before a major storm hit. Wet and muddy. Very good cable and Wi-Fi. No restrooms so must be self contained. Road in is rough. Many permanent residents. Probably the best deal if you want to be close to Dallas. We needed to get off the road due to the weather. Friendly staff.
This is a very basic park. Good for an overnight stay. Only one pull through with no sewer. Rest are back in with full hookups. WiFi was free but a little slow. Good cable TV. Most sites are level. Only two other rigs in the park so we had our choice of sites. Truckers park next door at the casino parking lot for the night. Can be a little noisy in the morning. If you need a place to spent the night, this is perfect.
Right off the interstate. Long level gravel sites. Shaded. Couldn't get my cable to work but believe that was my problem. Also, had to change internet security settings to access wifi. Good signal once I got it. Plenty of gas stations right next door. Trucker's stopping place.
Nice urban park. Convenient to all the downtown attractions in Little Rock. It's asphalt and gravel with some grass by the river bank. A few trees that we gravitated to for the shade since it's summer in the south and hot. A nice breeze off the river. Night lights of downtown LR are awesome. Good security. Gate locked at night. Would definitely stay here again.
Overall, a nice park but even right next to the office the Wi-Fi was a joke. So slow that I just gave up on it. Clean pool area. Men's bathroom could use a little TLC. We expected the road noise so that did not bother us. Very easy on/off I 40.
The only reason I didn't rate this park a 10 was because of the slow WiFi. Otherwise, a very nice park. New pool and rec room. Level sites and quiet since it's off the interstate. Would stay here again.
A really nice park. Has large level sites. Very good cable TV and WiFi. There is a view of the lake from some sites. Big flea market across the highway on weekends. We took a fun boat ride in the afternoon. Has very friendly staff. Would definitely stay here again.
Very nice park. Clean. A little hilly but the sites are level. Wooded so you have a little privacy. Good cable TV and cell but WiFi is a joke. They need to do something about it. You're lucky to get online and when you do, it takes forever to download/upload. If that is not important, then this is a very good place to stay.
Pretty much a typical KOA. Out in the woods 10 miles from town. Clean fairly level sites. Wi-Fi slow and no cell service. Very wooded which makes the close sites a little less imposing. Friendly staff.
I would have rated this campground higher if it weren't so expensive. On the plus side, the sites were level, the wi-fi and cable were very good, and we were right on the beach. The help was friendly except for several ladies from Florida in the store. Kind of surly. On the minus side, the cost. Too much for what you get. The campground next door, which was less expensive, was full while this campground was almost empty. If ever in this area again, I will make reservations elsewhere due to the high cost.
I would have rated this park higher but they have no laundry facilities and we needed to do our laundry. Also, you get a choice of sewer or cable TV. We selected sewer since we needed to dump. The TV was ok on the antenna, local stations only. WiFi at the office only. Very friendly lady in the office. Good for a one night stay.
First time here in Myrtle Beach. Nice campground. Big place but the sites were not that close to each other. Holiday weekend so it was packed. We were 7 spaces from the beach so it wasn't a long walk to the ocean. Have to pay extra for wi-fi which I didn't like especially for the price you have to pay to stay here. Friendly staff. Good cable.
As the previous posts indicate, this is a good place to spend the night. It is very basic. TV worked well on the antenna, WiFi was good, shopping and gas were not too far away. It was easy on and off the interstate.
This appears to be a relatively new park. Has level gravel sites, good cable TV and WiFi. Very high water pressure so be sure to connect a regulator. Ebenezer Rd from the south is undergoing construction so I would recommend coming in from the north. This is a clean park. Would stay here again.
This place is a pigsty. Goose and dog waste all over the place. Apparently, the full timers just let their dogs run loose, and you have to watch where you step when on the grass. Must sign in at the boat dock, not the campground. No signs telling you so. We had reservations that were lost. Wi-Fi went down in the afternoon. Cable was OK. If you like to camp in a place smelling of sewage, this is the place. Would never come here again.
This is a nice park. Only one pull through, which we got. TV reception is ok on the antenna and WiFi was very good. Cash or check only. We had a big thunderstorm after we pulled in, but had no problems with flooding. Would stay here again.
If you like to sit in the shade and watch the river, this is the place to be. Level concrete pads, good TV and WiFi reception, and a very friendly lady in the office. We would definitely stay here again. Has free laundry to boot.
We stayed here three nights while attending a meeting. About 8 miles from downtown. Good Wi-Fi. Level sites with plenty of shade although we didn't need it since it was stormy most of the weekend. Busy railroad tracks next door but that really didn't bother us. Will stay here next year for a submarine veterans national convention.
This is an ok campground for Branson. Sites are very close together and not all that level but that is just the nature of the terrain around here. Wi-Fi is good, cable TV could be better. Price we paid reflected a veteran discount paid with cash: good deal. We will look at other options next Veterans Day.
We stayed here 3 nights while geocaching and sightseeing in the Eureka Springs area. Very rustic setting which we liked. Trolley stop right at the campground. TV worked good on the antenna and Wi-Fi was fairly fast and reliable. Extra $ for the Wi-Fi. Would definitely stay here again.
A pretty basic campground. Pull-through sites are fairly long and level. Wi-Fi and TV worked well. There are shade trees in most sites. Had no problem with the staff. There is a farm next door but we had no odor. Good for an overnight stay.
A very nice park. It's clean with long level pull-through sites. Had very good TV and Wi-Fi plus a big book exchange. Park is close to K Mart and Wal-Mart. A very friendly lady in the office. Would definitely stay here again.
The only reason I didn't rate this park higher is the lack of shade and the fact our TV reception was not very good via their satellite. Otherwise, it is a very nice new park close to I-10. Everything is new and clean. Great place to stay if you're passing through.
We stayed here for 5 nights as part of a group attending a submarine veterans convention. We got a discounted group rate of 1/2 price. Pluses are the closeness to freeway, a nice pool and spa area, good Wi-Fi and TV. Minuses are the road noise and tight sites to get in and out of. Park has friendly staff. Fair number of full timers living in the park. Would stay here again.
Even though I called ahead the day before, there was no one in the office. Finally, the manager, I believe, came over and got me a site. The pool was closed and it was hot, so she gave me the site for $20. Good Wi-Fi and TV. Large level gravel sites. Must go through the county park to access the resort. No signage at the park entrance. So be aware.
After a fiasco at Cocopah Golf and RV Resort (see my review) we came to this park. This park was great and the staff was very helpful. There are level, gravel sites. Yes: there are alot of full timers but that was not a problem. A very nice pool and spa area; park was clean and well organized. It's close to a shopping area. We would definitely stay here again.
We were supposed to stay here but when we pulled in on Saturday we found the office closed. Had a security guy take us to our site. Even though they advertise Wi-Fi, they don't have it. Supposed to get it in several months. Had to go to the pro shop to find someone to help me. Would never stay here if in the area.
A very nice and clean park. It has long, level pull-through sites; good Wi-Fi and the TV is ok. The pool and spa were a nice addition. It's all gravel with desert landscaping. A good place to stay while on the road. There are limited office hours but you can register outside.
Big level, gravel sites at this park located about 12 miles from Prescott. Be sure to have them turn on the cable TV at your site or you'll think something is wrong with your gear. No restrooms that I could see but that was no problem. Good Wi-Fi and a good bargain at $15.
A very nice park with helpful staff. The showers in one of the restrooms could use a little elbow grease. A side light: the Historical State Park in Jerome is closed due to budget cuts. There is a good historical museum though. Nasty road work on hwy 179 coming in from I-17. Be careful especially if you're over 34' and towing. Would stay here again if in the area.
Nice park. Clean. Sites are fairly close together. Good TV and Wi-Fi. Office hours are weird. I went up around 7pm to buy some ice cream and the office was closed. Yes, there are a lot of rules but they didn't bother us.
This is a very nice park. We upgraded to a site with a patio, so the extra expense. It is 17 miles from town and then another 20 to the caverns. The staff was very helpful. We ordered pizza and they delivered on time right to our site. TV and Wi-Fi worked well. Would stay here again if in the area.
This is a class park. Only $20 per night for full hookups with nice, level cement pads. The pool and spa were great with the hot summer weather. They also had a free laundry room even though we did not use it.
This campground is really off the beaten path. While they claim to be 20 minutes from downtown, it is really closer to 30 plus to the Lincoln sites. Long pull throughs, level and fairly easy to maneuver around. Wi-Fi slow. Laundry room was like a HOT sauna. No AC or fans. Very uncomfortable. One lane bridge on the gravel road to the campground so you don't want to meet someone coming the other way especially if you can't back up.
Nice park but the sites are right on top of one another. Also, the sewer connection is too high to get your holding tanks to drain. Wifi available if you're close to the office. They charge $2.00 more if you turn on your AC or heater. Lady in the office was a little testy when I checked in.
I would have rated this park higher if it had not been for all the dirt. Very little grass. Also, alot of potholes that need attention. Office staff helpful and discount tickets available for the Henry Ford complex. Need to be within 300 feet of office if you want to use wifi in your coach. Probably the best park anywhere near Detroit.
This is a really nice park. Very clean. One great plus is that they let you wash your rig on site. After being on the road for awhile, this is a big advantage. Also, they have 2 pools - one for kids and one for adults. Much quieter that way. I would definitely stay here again.
Very large park. Level sites. Get one on the water if you want to see anything. Shuttle service to ferry to Mackinac Is. Very convenient. Wifi was down while we were there. Closest pizza place to outside of park had great pizza and they delivered to the front entrance.
The reasons I didn't rate this campground higher are the lack of grass [it's pretty barren], no sewer and very slow wifi. The waterfront sites are great for watching the river traffic [we had one.] TV reception is sparse unless you want to set up a dish. Sites are level and easy to maneuver in and out of. We had a 50 amp site but are 30 amp. The guy in the office loaned me an adapter. Good service. Would stay here again.
I would have rated this park much higher if it weren't for the terrible mosquito problem. You just could not go outside your rig without literally dousing yourself in repellent. Plus the wifi hotspot is right at the office so if you want internet access you must take your laptop to the office. Sites are nice and level and tv is ok. Highly recommend if the owners do something to abate the mosquitos.
Very nice park but very busy with family activities. Don't look for quiet here. Lot's for kids to do. Great ice cream bar in the store. Wifi and tv reception very good especially near the hotspot. About 14 miles from the cheese factories and stores in Monroe.
Very nice park. Spaces are fairly large especially next to the river. Lots of trees. I would have rated it higher if it had sewer. Good TV and Wi-Fi [have to pay extra for Wi-Fi.] Definitely would stay here again if in the area.
Nice city park. Level gravel sites. TV reception from Des Moines is spotty. Close to everything you want to see in the area. 12 large pieces of firewood for only $3.00. Good deal. Would stay here again if in the area.
A very pretty and clean park. Lots of things for kids to do. Spaces are level and cemented in. Check out the waterfall. It's very pretty. The only drawback is the noise on Saturday night from the stock car races across the highway.
Nice park. Very fast wifi and good tv reception. Area for washing rv was a plus since we have been on the road for 3 weeks. Area we were in was quite a ways from the office and restrooms but that was ok. Ducks wandering around the park were a treat to watch. Very friendly owners.
Nice park. We used the pool area all afternoon and it was enjoyable. Wifi worked good but cable was a little fuzzy. Road noise from I 40 but you expect that being close to the interstate. GREAT ice cream counter. Be sure to get some.
Very clean park. Wi-fi does not work in the park so you have to go into the casino to access the internet. We were put in the handicapped section which was very close to the casino. Good cable reception.
Park was clean and the host was very helpful. Wi-Fi is slow and you have to turn off your pop up blocker to access it. Sites are close together and there are a lot of semi permanent workers staying here. Very extensive library of free movies in the office you can borrow. Also, books to trade. Pool area was clean although we did not use it due to rain.
We were lucky to get into this park due to refugees from Hurricane Ike. Lady in the office was able to get us a spot. Really appreciated this. Cable TV only had 6 or 7 stations. Kind of limited for cable TV. Wi-Fi was ok if you were close enough to the office. We were lucky. Easy access to highway and nice view of the Mississippi River. We would stay here again but would prefer a concrete site. Again, we were lucky just to get in.
I gave this park a 5 only because they recently experienced major damage due to hurricane Gustav. We were lucky to be able to stay here as most campgrounds were booked with hurricane Ike evacuees. In better times, this could be a nice park.
We camped here for one night as we were running from hurricane Ike. Nice long pull through spots and friendly staff. Restrooms were boarded up so we could not use them. Nice view of the bay and an informative board walk telling of the wildlife in the area. Easy on and off the highway.
This is the park you want if you want to be very close to the beach. We had site B 12 and it was great. Nice view of the beach and gulf. Work campers in the office were friendly and helpful. This is definitely an older park but is very much like most parks right on the beach. Sites are pretty close together but with no immediate neighbors, that was not a problem.
This is a very nice park. Clean and well kept. The normal rate is $40 but we got the Passport America rate with our AARP card. Friendly staff. Even though we were the only ones in the pool area, I could see where in the middle of summer it could be very crowded. We would definitely stay here again.
KOA's are like McDonalds - you know what you are getting. This park was very typical of a KOA. Restrooms and showers were clean, wifi and cable tv were good. Not too much road noise. Watch for the signage on hwy 59. When you see it, you're there.
Very nice park. Exceptionally clean restrooms. Narrow road into the park so you don't want to meet another RV on the way in or out. WFfi was slow but it worked. We were 3 rows away from the office. Staff was very helpful. Some spots [non pull throughs] were a little dicey to get in to. Cable TV was fuzzy. We would definitely stay here again.
One of the best KOA's we've stayed at. Extremely helpful staff. Clean restrooms and showers. Ask the office staff about the pizza place within walking distance. It's rated one of the top 10 in the country for non chain pizza places. We had a great pizza there. Definitely would stay here again if in the area.
Nice park about 9 miles from the Falls. Owner arranged our tour and pick up was right from the campground. There is a dog kennel on one side that the owner said is being shut down but just in case I asked to be as far away from it as possible. He accommodated me. Also, there is a large equipment lot on the other side of the rear fence that on Monday am is quite noisy. Wifi is extra.
Pretty park. Cable TV hookup was extra even though we were in a deluxe site. Good wifi. Made tour reservations right at KOA office. Bathrooms and showers were clean, however a little elbow grease and bleach in the showers would go along way. We would stay here again if in the area.
This is a huge campground. WiFi was good but it cost extra. Showers were filthy. Bathroom was OK. The store was closed unless you went across the street to get someone to open it. All but one pool were closed. They did provide a fact sheet on where the attractions were and how to get to them. Don't think I would stay here again.
Bathroom and shower consists of an old mobile home that was not very clean. Wifi only worked when I asked the office lady to reset it. If the park had been crowded, it would have been hard to get into some spots. Trash bin was overflowing. Cable TV was good.
I compare KOAs to McDonalds - you pretty much know exactly what you are going to get. This campground was clean, the store very well stocked and the pool area great after a long day's drive. WiFi worked very well but the cable TV was a little iffy.
Very nice park. Quiet and clean. Nice pool area and clubhouse where you can exchange books. Wifi is slow and un-dependable in the afternoon. Staff is helpful and made some good recommendations on where to go and what to do. Like the idea of an adult only park. Much quieter.
Nice park. Kind of dusty with red sand so be careful not to track it in to your rig. Wifi was not working when we were there so had to use the computer in the laundry room. Problem was young kids spending a lot of time surfing the internet. Had to tell them to get off. Tours are good but don't try the day long one unless you are really into Monument Valley. 3 hour tour is good.
Nice park close to Flaming Gorge. Get a shady spot if you can, it's hot in summer. Office staff is informative if you haven't been in the area before. Tough drive south on 44 if you're going that way. Eight percent grade up.
Very crowded campground and sites very close together. This is not where you want to go for some privacy. But if you want a place to stay in the park with full hookups and a fairly central location this is it.
This is a new park and very clean. Good pull through sites. Be careful to take the frontage road on the west side of the interstate. The one on the east side dead ends and if you're towing a vehicle you'll have to disconnect it to turn around. Park is 6 miles south of the Little Bighorn Memorial.
Park is nice but staff is iffy. When we checked in the man at the office was not very friendly. We later asked to change spots and the man that helped me then was much nicer. I would have rated the park much higher if all the staff was customer focused.
Very crowded due to construction workers staying there temporarily. New owners, who were very nice and friendly, have plans to do a lot of fix up work. When they're done, the park should be greatly improved.
Very noisy due to proximity to RR tracks. Trains came through several times each night. WiFi didn't work worth a darn. Had to go to public library to connect. Dirt road was muddy but that can be expected in rainy weather.
Nice campground. Clean bathrooms. Friendly staff. Shuttle service to shows was great. Tickets can be purchased at office. WIFI can only be accessed at the office. On a hot or cold day, this is uncomfortable. They say that WIFI will be available to the sites next year. Would stay here again.
Very nice park. Helpful office staff. We took a tour of Nashville and the tour company picked us up right at the park. Added feature - Wednesday evening they have a local singer come in and entertain you for several hours. It was a lot of fun. Camping World is almost next door. Will definitely stay here again if in the area.
Nice campground not too far from Biltmore Estate. Easy access to Interstate. Clean restrooms and very nice pool area. We purchased our Biltmore Estate tickets there which saved us time when we made our visit.
Very nice park just south of Spartanburg. Office lady was very helpful and friendly. Narrow access road to the park but once you're in it's better. Pull through sites are paved; the rest are not. Good campground if you want to be in the Spartanburg area.
Very clean park. Friendly staff. Pull through sites are fairly close together and some could use more shade. Very hard to access Highway 17 especially during rush hour. Being the closest park to Charleston was an advantage. Pool ia a long walk from the sites at the rear of the park. I would stay here again if I were visiting Charleston.
We spent the night here on the way to Vicksburg, MS. Park was clean, staff was friendly and the ice cream "bar" hit the spot after dinner. Plenty of shade trees which this time of the year is a plus. Easy access to I 40.
