Odd park located within a county park. The park itself is inundated with families during the day. It closes at 7 or so, and just the RV'ers are left. Bathrooms are fair but has no showers. There is no swimming in the lake even for dogs, but it is fun to kayak. The have boats on site to rent. The lake goes way back, much more than you can see.
Their website states they have a bunch of acreage available for 'off leash dog walking'. This is true BUT there are homeless camps all over this area. We saw the sheriff down there cleaning some up, but still encountered at least two people everyday.
