This was our first stay here at Walden's Creek. We had a very enjoyable stay. The yards were clean and well kept. We did not use the bathhouse. The folks at the front office were extremely friendly and helpful, even helped us to park our fifth wheel. It is a very close parking community. So be prepared to have some folks move cars on your way in or out. It was still very nice and we will return.
We had a great time here at this KOA. It was very nice and quiet and in a great location. It was very clean and the yards were kept up nicely. The staff was very friendly and helpful. We loved all the things for the children even though we don't have any. The bouncer looked like a great thing for kids. All of them seemed to really enjoy it. We will be going there again in the future.
We have stayed at the other resorts there in Crossville and decided to try this one. We are so very glad that we did. We loved it. We only wished would could have stayed longer than one evening. The folks are extremely friendly. They are so helpful and kind. We were given an easy in and out site to help with our overnight stay. We had a wonderful quiet evening and will be returning soon.
We stayed here for the week. Had two sites with the family. Loved every moment. Took the Trolley, and it is wonderful to sit back and read or talk while someone else takes you to where you want to go. They pick you and drop you off right at the front. Perfect. Bathhouse was clean and the laundry room was one of the cleanest I've ever encountered. As always we will stay there again in the future ASAP.
This park is very, very unusual. We arrived with the office already closed at 1:30 pm. Our site was marked on a piece of paper along with the code to get through the gate. There was only one other camper here when we arrived in this massive campground with sites as well as many, many cabins to rent. There was coming and goings with trucks and folks all afternoon that either live here on the property, or the caretakers. I have no idea. We left this next morning without ever speaking to any one. I really was a little apprehensive about staying here as there is several lights out and there are no lights leading up to the bath houses. The lights are not locked on, but a rocker switch at the door. The bathhouse was old, dirty and very cold. Many bugs and spiders had made there home here. It was a great camp ground in the 80's I'm sure. It has lost it's family and is a very sad place now. We won't be returning.
We stayed here for a week in the 1400 loop. It was very nice and close to the bath house on the outer loop. We had a great time and would love to stay here again. There is so many reviews regarding the camping that I hate to leave another one except to say there is almost no written rules. The majority of rules have to do with the cart rental. You are allowed to put anything on your site, screen porches, tents, decorations. It is really a great family place to camp. Loved it, but I'm a Disney girl!
This is a very odd campground in that you can't check in until 4:00. With that being said, we were able to check in earlier with calls to the management explaining that we needed to be earlier arrivals coming from Georgia. I also had washing to do and meals to prepare. We loved the campground even with all the rules and regulations. You can see that in time past it was a great campground with lots of visitors I'm sure. The laundry was extremely nice and clean. We also enjoyed the store as well as the grounds. The pool was clean, but it was rainy and cool. We would stay here again and would take into account the late check in.
The staff was very friendly when we checked in. The campground was very crowded and full, as this was during the state fair here in Perry. We had a very small site that had been made with another site. They were gravel sites. You had to walk quite a way to get to the bath house that was very small with just a few stalls. Very dated campground. Probably won't be here again as I would rather have a little closer and newer bath house.
The staff here was extremely friendly and helpful. We had a great stay here for the most part. We were a little annoyed by the near by racetrack. They were racing well after 11:00 pm. That was a little strange. Our site was level and the campground is beautiful with huge full trees and lovely sites with room between them. A very large campground and we will be returning again.
This is a very new campground. There are many trees that have been planted along the road that when grown will make a beautiful restful campground along the lake. The bathhouses were the cleanest that I have ever seen and the shower was wonderful and heated. We had a great one night stay, we will gladly return here again. The site was level with gravel and dirt.
We stayed here for 2 nights. The campground is very nice, clean, and has good level sites. We were pleased with the bathrooms and the showers. They were clean and smelled excellent. The road in the campground needs to be repaired. I know that they were flooded out a year ago, but I think they could repave the road a bit. It rained and when it did, the roads were very full of water puddles and have deep ruts. The staff could stand a little bit of more friendliness and kindness. Very rough for Nashville. Most folk are very friendly and courteous. These just seemed to think we took up their time and would have rather been somewhere else. Maybe they should go camping.
We stayed here for one night. The owner was a wonderful communicator as we were a late arrival. He called to give us directions to our site as well as everything we needed to know about hooking up for the night. It is a beautiful campground that we would love to stay for a longer period. The golf courses surrounding the area were beautiful as well. Thank you for making our stay so comfortable.
I called on April 17 to make reservations for an upcoming trip to Pensacola. We arrived completely shocked at what we saw. We didn't know that on April 27 they had been hit by an EF5 tornado. The news never made it to Nashville where we live. We were so saddened to see the devastation that this park took from Mother Nature. The owner never told us when we called to confirm. She didn't cry and whine over the fact that her park was forever changed. We were humbled by their kindness and hopeful outlook the next morning. We will stay here again. We look forward to seeing what wonderful things lie within their future. We pray daily for these folks. Thank you for a good night stay. God Bless you all.
Beautiful campground. Extremely kind staff. We stayed here for 3 nights. Had a great stay. The park was very full as there was a car show in Pigeon Forge. We had a great time and will stay there again when visiting the area.
This is the cleanest rest rooms and shower that I have ever seen. Truly the nicest. We stayed here for the weekend of visiting the area caves. The staff was friendly and courteous. Answered all questions about the area. We will definitely stop by again when in the area.
We stayed here one night on our way to Pigeon Forge. Very nice resort. Lots of live in campers. Very beautiful setting. Very nice owner. Came late to help us get settled. Very clean showers and bathhouse. Enjoyed our stay. Will certainly return for a longer stay.
