The sites are very overpriced for what you get. It was $48 for 20amp electric, very poor water pressure, no sewer, no TV, no Wi-Fi, and very crowded narrow sites. If not for requesting an empty space between us and the next coach we could not open our slides. They have a restaurant with very overpriced food ($16.95 for a hamburger) and their diesel prices amount to highway robbery!!! The most we had paid prior to there was .89/liter and they charged $1.69/liter. When we questioned them the owner got defensive and tried to justify their price gouging. DO NOT STAY AT THIS PARK!
We had stayed there years ago, and remembered it as being nicer, but we were disappointed this time. The sites are not very big, they do not have cable. Wi-fi is available but you have to pay extra. They were almost arrogant that they DO NOT offer any kind of discounts. The lady said Good Sam, Trailer Life, AAA, etc all rate them but they don't give any discounts. We were gone for 5 weeks and this was one of the most expensive campgrounds we stayed at, and they had less to offer than many cheaper parks.
The park staff was very nice. After we got parked the owner came down to see if we needed anything and to offer his assistance. The park was clean and well maintained with clean restrooms, showers, and laundry room. The sites had shade trees but they were well trimmed and there was grass at each site.
The interior roads were very narrow and winding. The sites were narrow, not level, and had many low hanging branches on the trees. We had to back out of the first site because to do otherwise would have damaged our satellite and air conditioners. We asked to be moved to a different site and the one offered was short, not level, and right next to the road and the office. We refused to stay there and asked for and received a refund and went to a different campground.
The Seven Feathers RV Resort is easily the best campground we have ever used, and we have traveled all over the country. The park is surrounded by natural beauty, all interior roads are wide and paved, the sites are level pull-through site with grass and picnic table at every site. We were escorted to our site and the escort explained all of the utilities and pointed out the extra amenities including an indoor pool and spa and a laundry room. There is a free shuttle that comes by your site about every thirty minutes to take you over to the casino. Seven Feathers really sets the bar for what all campgrounds should be, and their price is much less than many lesser campgrounds charge.
