The sites are fairly good sized and capable of taking a motorhome and dingy. The park is clean and generally well maintained. There are too many permanent residents with some clutter. The management is very helpful. This is by far the best park in the Lander-Riverton area. The rate reflects a monthly rate. It has great views of Lander at night and the Wind River Mts. It is close to town. I would definitely stay here again.
This park is all gravel. It is quite barren. It had helpful work-campers and the sites were decent sized. It has mostly side by side hookups though they spaced out the people who were there. It is quite adequate for a night or two.
I have been full timing for 15 years and this is one of the very best RV parks in the country. It is exceptionally well maintained and staffed by a very competent, friendly and helpful staff. It has a great winter season rate, that discounts each month you stay. The trees have grown quite a bit over the years and now provide excellent shade for most sites. The Wi-Fi is great with numerous repeaters in the park. There are a large number of well organized activities throughout the winter months.
This is a basic park without any amenities. The sites are adequate in length and width, but it can it difficult to maneuver is you have a very long rig. The park is clean and the staff is friendly and helpful. Unfortunately, it is only 30 amps and is somewhat pricey given its lack of amenities. It has road noise from the main highway in town. It makes a good place for a couple of days with easy access to Cedar Breaks NM. to other national parks in the area.
The park is clean and the staff is very helpful and friendly. The sites are very narrow, but pull through sites were long enough to leave the tow vehicle attached. Sites are angled well so the only maneuvering problem is the really narrow site. There is some road noise from the interstate. The price reflects a Good Sam Discount. There were numerous open sites, but they fill sites at their convenience so that I had a rig along side of me even though there were numerous sites available without crowding. All in all a good park, with the noted exceptions.
The park is clean and the management is friendly and competent. There are some basic issues: sites are very narrow and trees extend onto the sides which make it difficult if you have slides. The back-ins at the rear of the park are slanted the wrong way from the access road which makes it quite a chore to back onto your site, this is especially true when rigs are parked right at the edge of access road. Its location as the main access to the north rim of Grand Canyon justifies the difficulties. All in all a pretty good short stay park.
This is a beautiful park that is still being developed. The staff is very friendly and helpful, but seems to be on a part time basis. There are no picnic tables, and that is a real drawback in a place that can be very hot. All in all a nice park that needs further development.
This is a great park. It has good sized sites and is fairly easy to maneuver in the park even when towing a dingy. The park staff is great. They are helpful, friendly and go out of their way to make you feel wanted. The park features a free breakfast (eggs&pancakes) for the RV occupants. I accidentally left my portable satellite on my site when I departed and when I called, the park staff immediately had it sent to me. Its location, hospitality and price make it ideal to use when visiting Craters of the Moon NM. I can certainly recommend this park and will certainly revisit when I am in that area again.
This is a very small park that we have used over the summer season for a number of years. It's price has gone up and the quality has gone down. There is no effort made on the park management to have any activities. The boat launch is not available for the park tenants. The park management has rules for its friends, and separate rules for everyone else. The occupants of the park had a bbq which they held out of the park due to the hostility level of the park management. The price reflects a monthly rate of $450 and for a park with no activities, no facilities, etc. There are many alternatives with much better facilities and a happier environment for the same price. You are even expected to cut your own grass on the site. A number of the seasonals from past years are not coming back due to the atmosphere. I cannot in good conscience recommend this park except for short term visitors. I have been on the road for fourteen years and this is the worst hostile environment I've ever encountered.
This is one of the very best parks. It is right on the Columbia River. It has a very friendly and helpful staff. Great access road to the park and the largest sites I've ever seen. It has good shade on the end loop sites and some shade in the center of the park. It has large manicured lawns and a nice paved walkway along the river. It is very reasonable and they give a Good Sam discount. This is a very nice place with a beautiful setting. The sunsets over the Columbia are spectacular.
This is a beautiful campground with nicely landscaped grounds. It has large sites with concrete paved pads and grass around the sites. The roads might be a little tight for very large rigs but quite acceptable for the vast majority of motorhomes. The pull throughs are long enough to leave a dingy connected with room left over. The the park is very well maintained and with the exception of the sites near the main highway is very quiet. The location if perfect for all activities in the Cascades region and close to Bend for shopping etc. It is an impressive park.
This is a very nice park with good sized sites and easily accessed pull throughs. It is well maintained and makes for a good overnight or two in the Burns area. The staff was friendly and helpful. I would stay here again when in the area.
This is a first rate park. It has all the amenities one would expect. The staff if very friendly and helpful and make you feel wanted as a customer. It has an excellent dog walking area and the park is very well maintained. The sites are large and easily accessed. I found this a very convenient park for any activities in the Boise area. I would definitely stay here again.
This park has huge sites with long pull through sites and wide spaces between sites. It is very well maintained and has a very helpful and friendly staff. It is still growing with an area laid out for additional sites. It is quiet with little road noise. This is definitely the best park in the area.
I wrote a review a number of years ago on this park and am pleased to see that the park remains one of the best parks in the country. The sites are good sized and there are a number of long pull throughs. The park is physically beautiful and is incredibly well maintained. The staff is cheerful and helpful and every attempt is made to meet customer satisfaction. This is a gateway park for Zion National Park and always has people who have been in the park before. It is a great snowbird destination park with very reasonable winter rates. It has a number of organized activities for snowbirds. All faculties are clean and well maintained. I have been full timing for almost 15 years and this is the best park that I have been in.
This park has been undergoing upgrades since a change in ownership a few years ago. Power and water facilities are all new. It is a clean and well maintained park with very helpful and friendly management. The sites are somewhat narrow but adequate in length for most rigs. It is a good park to use for a few days while in the area.
This is a clean park with decent sized sites and some side by side hookups. Some sites can be a little difficult to enter. Not all sites are 50amp service. This makes a good park for the attractions in the area. The park is well maintained and the management is helpful and friendly. It is somewhat pricey and there doesn't seem to be a weekly rate. However, it is the best park in the area and its cleanliness and location make it quite attractive. I would certainly stay here again when in the area.
I was in this park in the spring and it had a large number of semi-permanent residents with stuff all over. This has changed. The park is friendly and the management very helpful. The sites are a little narrow but they have ample length. I was pleased with the improvements and this park makes a great place for a short stay.
This is a fairly new park that it still being built. The sites are very long and quite wide. The office staff was very helpful and the whole atmosphere of the park is cheerful. The park is very well maintained and the whole staff was quite friendly and cheerful. This is one of the best parks I've been in and when it is finished will be truly a top line park.
This is a very nice little park in an area without any real RV parks. The management was welcoming and helpful. The sites are good sized and there is ample shade. This is a very good stopping place for a couple of nights.
This is a nice park with really friendly and helpful staff. The sites are good sized and fairly easy to get in an out of. The parking pad is gravel and somewhat too narrow. There is little shade, but this doesn't matter in the spring or fall. While fairly close to US 95, the road noise is rather low. The location so close to the middle of Coeur D'Alene makes it very convenient. I would certainly stay here again.
I have stayed here on a number of occasions. The sites are fairly good sized with some side by side hookups. Most sites have a nice grassy area on the side. The park is clean and well maintained. A little pricey for the winter season, but otherwise this is a good place to use as a base for the national parks in the area.
The park has a large number of permanent residents with a lot of stuff on their sites. The sites are mostly dirt with gravel in spotty areas. It was very muddy when in rained. The staff was very helpful. I found the sites pretty narrow due to all the stuff from the next site. I feel the park would be much nicer if they forced the permanents to remove much of the stuff on their sites. It makes a good overnight and with more gravel on the sites would be even better.
I found the park to be clean and well maintained with a reasonable monthly rate. The manager was very helpful in site selection and the park has excellent facilities. I would rate this a 10 if not so near I-5. This makes it somewhat noisy if you are on the interstate side of the park. I had a fairly quiet site away from the interstate. I enjoyed my stay and will stay here again.
I found this park to have very large sites, both in width and depth. It is conveniently located and has easy access to the sites. The staff was very friendly and helpful. This is a fairly new park and has planned additions. It was a very nice experience and I would certainly return here. They have a Return Visit Certificate that has a discount for return visits.
The park was very well maintained with grassy areas and a nice pad. The office staff was very helpful and cheery. I had a nice sized back in site with plenty of room. It is a pretty park; good shade on a number of sites and well maintained. I would certainly stay here again. I had the Passport America rate.
This is a convenient park for visits to Twin Falls, or the Thousand Springs area towards Buhl. The sites are somewhat too narrow with the utilities actually located on the grass of the next site which puts the picnic table right near the utilities. Good interior roads that are capable of easy manueverability. The park is well run and well maintained and makes a good stop for a couple of days.
This is a nice park, but overpriced. I have stayed here a number of times in the past. They sprayed for weeds all over the gravel and actually left pools of it. This is potentially a problem for pets and people. The sites have gravel which is quite large and not particularly user friendly.
This is a pretty park that is very well maintained. A little tight on the roads, but a very sharp staff to guide you in on backups. A friendly place and peaceful. They take Passport America quite cheerfully. I would stay here again.
This is a very pretty park on the Siletz River. The management is very friendly and helpful. It is very neat and tidy. The roads are somewhat narrow but you are guided carefully into your site. I would definitely stay here again. It is a Passport America park and I paid $15.00 per night.
A nice park with good paved parking pads that are good sized. Patio area is unfortunately filled with rather large gravel. The park has excellent facilities and is well maintained. The staff is very friendly and helpful. The scenery is beautiful, and the location makes it convenient to all services.
The park is beautiful with huge sites, manicured grass lawns and 50 amp service. It sits right on the Columbia River with a nice paved trail along the river's edge. It has a cheerful and friendly staff and management who are very helpful. It is the best value I've encountered in 12 years of full-timing. Amazingly, it takes Good Sam! It is very busy in the summer and very hot. The spring and fall are very moderate. It has great sunsets. There are ample big rig sites with fairly easy access.
I've spent 6 winter seasons in this park. It has always had a friendly and competent management and staff. The facilities are excellent and the park is very well maintained. The flood damage to the grounds has been repaired. The lack of cell service is not really a problem as each site has a phone hookup, and all local calls are free. The winter season is temperature is about the same as the northeast in autumn. The snowbirds are friendly and helpful, and there are numerous activities throughout the winter. I've been full-timing for 12 years, and this is the best park I've been in.
