Smaller RV park with many long and permanent residents, limited space for transient travelers. Full hook-ups with 50 amp service, some pull-thrus, good WiFi, cable TV. Public washrooms, showers and laundry. Sites are quite tight. Free shuttle to laser show. $35. OK for a night or two.
RV park beside the golf course, very nice golf course. The park has some very tight sites and some very large sites. All are full hook-up and the new sites are the larger. All are gravel and reasonably level. Weak WiFi, better at the clubhouse. Limited big rig friendly, back in sites. Sat TV only. Trees are now getting larger and now are providing some shade. Picnic tables, laundry, washrooms and showers. We will stay there again. (We are not golfers).
Nice park beside Curlew lake, pull thru full hook-up sites are best, the full hook-up back in sites are a little tight. The partial hook-up back in sites provide you with much more room. Lots of tenting site. The RV sites on the south end of the RV park are very tight but right on the lake. Swimming boating and fishing. Large central green(lawn) space where the kids to play. Clean washrooms and showers. Boat launch and dock. Very friendly hosts.
Owners very friendly and helpful, easy check in and owner walks you to your site and will assist if needed. Many large pine trees. Fire-pits and tables with each site. Sites are full hook-up, gravel and quite level. WiFi is decent, only sat TV if you can find a spot thru the trees. Play ground, community BBQ, screened gazebo, laundry, cabins and large grassy area. Short walk to the Kettle River but with limited access. RV sites a little confusing and if the campground was full it would be a little tight. Separate tenting area. Washrooms and showers were adequate and clean. We would stay there again. Good Sam discount available.
Check in was very friendly, had a trainee. Campground is built on a side hill but the sites are level, with gravel, fire pit and picnic table. Full hook-ups, WiFi was strong, cable TV was adequate but missing any local (Washington news channels). Decent space between units. Many large pine trees, consequently many pine needles. A little tight maneuvering a larger rig. It seemed that the campground was just opening up for the season as many of the amenities were not open and there was ongoing clean-up throughout the park. The main washroom in the office building (men’s side) was very clean. Campground had about 30 units in for the weekend, I think in the summer the campground would be very busy if all the cabins, tenting spaces and RV spaces were full. I would think that reservations would be a must. We would stay there again.
Heavily treed RV park & campground, some full service sites, some sites big rig friendly others very small and quite tight. Sites are reasonably level but are not graveled or paved. Interior roads are paved. Table and fire-pits. All fairly private, nice washroom & showers, pool, play area. Quiet. WiFi hot-spot only. Air TV but limited. Staff friendly and helpful. We would stay there again.
52 sites, Easy access, stayed in the nearer section, large level sites, good hook-ups, big rig friendly, older section also adequate but mostly full and long term residents (away from travelers section). Staff were friendly and helpful. WiFi available (slow and sporadic), TV via air or satellite but not much available, Close to Port Angeles. We would stay there again. GS price.
Reservations thru State Parks reservation system. Very nice, heavily treed park. Full hook-ups with some big rig sites. Showers($), no TV, no WiFi, rest rooms very clean, sites are paved, fire pits, tables, on Rifle Lake but limited access to lake. Bit of a mosquito problem – be prepared it is the forest. We would stay there again.
Older RV Park, 4 miles north of town, 35 sites, with many long and full time tenets, manager is super nice and very helpful. Her office is in a strange location, difficult to find. Sites are level, good cable TV, very good WiFi($), bathrooms are functional but in need of upgrading. No picnic tables, very quiet, seems very secure. 50 plus RV Park. We would check out other RV parks in the area before we would stay there again.
We stayed here in a 34 ft. fifth wheel with 2 slides. The staff were friendly. It is cash or cheque only. No pets in summer months. This is a great location on Okanagan lake and close to town. It is very popular in the summer. Reservations are a must. Weekly only during the summer. Good cable TV. Strong and free WiFi. Free showers. Fire pits on beach. Most sites are a little tight (approx. 20 ft wide), but does have several larger sites for larger RV's. They have a playground, laundry, tennis court, game room, convenience store and a 400 ft. sandy beach,
City-run RV park. Very nice, lots of lawn, large shade trees, good size sites, friendly staff, good cable TV, Wi-Fi only at reception, showers($). GREAT location on the lake & close to downtown. Very popular, reservations a must during peak season. We will be staying there again. $34 was the off-season rate.
Very nice, older park, gravel sites, full and part service sites, shade trees, lawn, decent Wi-Fi, good cable TV, 9 hole par 3 golf course attached, close to town, quiet, friendly staff. Popular during the summer and weekends. We would stay there again. The rate cited is the Good Sam rate.
Nice RV park. Large, paved full service sites, most are pull-throughs, shared grass area between sites, no tables. Free Wi-Fi, over-the-air TV, clean facilities, nice laundry, beside golf course, 3 miles to town. Many full and long term clients but sites kept very presentable. Very limited space for over-nighters. Reservations recommended. Would stay there again.
Staff were friendly and helpful. Escorted to your site. All sites are gravel, only grass is in play areas. Some sites are heavily shaded, some open, all have fire-pits, full hook-ups, cable TV, free WiFi, free showers and big rig friendly. Playground basketball court, horseshoe pits and dog walk area. Rest rooms, showers and laundry are immaculate. We would definitely stay there again.
About 5 miles out of Wenatchee, very nice, well maintained, full service park, paved pads, lots of shade, lots of lawn. Pay showers, fire pits, play ground, air TV, free WiFi (a little sporadic and SLOW), on the Wenatchee River. Reservations recommended for the summer season. Highway noise during the day, also train noise just across the river. We would stay there again.
This park is very well maintained with power and water service only at the sites. There is a sewer dump, free showers, fire pits, some shaded sites and lots of lawn. This is a first come, first serve park. Very popular so arrive early (especially for weekends). We would stay there again.
We had one of the full service sites in area A. This is a very nice RV park, big rig friendly with paved sites, large shade trees, lots of lawn, near Wenatchee and on the Columbia River. Very well maintained, pay showers, fire pits. This is also a very busy park with reservations a must on weekends during the summer. We stayed for 3 nights and we will be staying there again.
Good Sam Rate. This park has nice, friendly staff, and easy check. The park is situated on a bench above the Kettle River with a short walk to their own private beach. Has good sized grassy sites with tables and fire pits. Wood available $. Washrooms are clean (showers $), and there is a good laundry. WiFi was adequate on the east end of the park. Max 30 amp service. Some sites are shaded. The playground for kids was very popular during the summer with families. We would definitely stay here again.
Staff at check-in were efficient. All sites are paved with a small grassy area, trees & shrubs. Sites are quite tight, must be careful of placement of unit to deploy slides, little to no chance to open your awning. Full hook-ups, good Wi-Fi, limited cable TV. Clean laundry & washrooms. Some shade. Office closed on Sundays??? Close to shopping, quiet. The park appears a little run down but is still reasonably nice. We would stay there again. GS $33.
Check-in was swift and easy, staff was friendly. Older established park: gravel sites with nice grass area and picnic table. Sites are a good size. Has shade trees and is very quiet. Washrooms and laundry were very clean, has good WiFi. It's a little ways off the freeway but worth it. We would stay here again. Good Sam rate $25.
Staff at check-in was very friendly at this 55+ park. Park is very nice, has concrete pads and lawn, shade trees, large sites. Has good WiFi and cable TV and very clean facilities. If I had to have a complaint: payment is cash or cheque only, but otherwise this is what a park should be. We would definitely stay here again.
Staff at check-in were professional, has full hook-ups, cable TV, WiFi available ($- expensive), concrete and gravel sites and not much for shade. It's a convenient location for the strip. The washrooms and showers are adequate.
Staff at check-in was friendly and helpful. This 55 + park, has full hook-ups, air TV, WiFi ($), free WiFi in the park library, paved interior roads, sites are concrete and gravel. There's no tables, no grass, and little shade. Many full and long term guests, but their sites all well maintain. Park residents all seemed very friendly. Lots of activities in house, we stayed a week and would stay here again.
Staff at check-in friendly and very helpful with things to see and do in the area. Campground is older, with all gravel, roads and sites. Sites are quite close together, many long term residents but their sites were well maintained. Good WiFi ($2/day), there is an extra charge for electric heaters or air conditioners ($2/day). No washrooms or cable TV. Good for a short stay. Adult oriented. GS rate $28.25.
Efficient check-in, with a friendly escort to the site. Sites are gravel and reasonably level, some sites have grass adjacent to the site, some gravel. Most sites have shade. Has full hook-ups, decent WiFi, cable TV. The washrooms were clean. It is a quiet area. We would stay here again. KOA rate $32.40.
Just outside of Moab on the north side of town. Check in was efficient. Sites are gravel, level and most have a small patch of grass. Has room for big rigs and slides. There is not much for shade. Washrooms and laundry are clean. Has full hook-ups, WiFi, cable TV and is quiet. Would camp here again.
Located in North Salt Lake City, Utah and was easy to find: right off of I-215. Check in was simple. Staff was friendly and escorted us to our site. Had full hook-ups; WiFi could be better, but was included in camping fees; good cable TV. Sites are all cemented and quite spacious. No shade, the park is too new. The washrooms, laundry were spotless. Was a little noisy from the freeway nearby, especially during the daytime. There is a security gate. It's minutes from downtown Salt Lake City. Would definitely stay here again. GS rate: our rig is a 30 footer.
Check-in was easy, and has friendly staff, escorted to our sites. Sites are large, gravel, pull-throughs, with full hook-ups, good WiFi, and cable TV. Washrooms and laundry were very clean. Has big shade trees, kids playground, pool, restaurant, general store, gas pumps, and is beside the Snake River. Has some hwy noise, especially in the daytime. Very nice RV park. Will definitely stay here again. We stayed in a 30 footer with a Good Sam rate.
April 2010 Mountain View KOA: Pendleton, Oregon. It has nice level sites, most are cemented, some are gravel. Has pull-throughs and back ins, full hook-ups, good WiFi, good cable TV, some shade, not much protection from wind, and is quiet. The staff was very friendly and helpful. There are many long term guests, but their sites were very well maintained. All facilities were very clean. We would stay here again. KOA rate was $30.
This RV Resort is now a KOA. Staff was super friendly and helpful. The sites are level with full hook-ups. Has WiFi and cable TV; pull-through and back-ins; not much for shade. There are many long term guests but the sites are exceptionally maintained. Washrooms, showers, laundry and clubhouse are exceptionally clean. It's close to Camping World if needed. We stayed there in a 30 footer and will be staying here again. KOA rate $30.
This resort is located 6 miles south of Coulee City, Washington on Hwy 17. It's part of the Sun Lakes State Park facility. Check in was quick and easy, the staff was very friendly. Has mostly pull-through sites, quite adequate for all rigs. Has full hook-ups, WiFi only at office area, no cable TV, shaded and open sites. There is golfing near by, swimming, boating and fishing. Cabins are available. Rest rooms and laundry were clean. Would stay here again. We paid $23 off season rate.
A very nice Provincial campsite. Rustic. Divided into 2 section, 1 along the Kettle River – very private sites, reservations only – and the other in a more open, arid area with large pine trees, non-reservations only. Picnic table & fire pits at each site and wood can be purchased from the camp host. Lots of hiking & biking trails with swimming, rafting & fishing in the river. Central water, no showers, pit toilets, sewer dump ($2). A very popular campsite. $19 per night, $6.50 reservation fee for the first 3 nights.
Kettle River RV Park is one of our favorite campsites. The staff was extremely friendly and nice. The park was super clean, lots of grass (lawn), mature trees, children's playground, full hookups, community fire pits and swimming and rafting in the Kettle River. The bathrooms and laundry were very clean, free showers, and ($)Wi-Fi. We try to stay at this site at least twice a summer. We stayed 2 nights (had planned on more) at $33 per night.
The Claybanks RV Park, is owned by the city of Merritt. The staff was friendly and the well laid-out sites were not to close to each other. The park is also big-rig friendly. There is lots of grass but the trees need to mature: it can be very hot in Merritt in the summer months. The park is close to downtown, and they have free Wi-Fi. This is a nice place to stay for a night or for several days if you wish to explore this area. We stayed 3 nights and would stay there again: $27 per night with full services.
Staff (owners) are very friendly & helpful. Small, well cared for park beside the Similkameen River. Some sites are a little tight, many large fir and pine trees on the property. Nice sandy area beside the river. Motel attached to the park. Washrooms & laundry are very clean. Weak Wi-Fi, limited cable TV. We will stay here again. Good Sam rate $23.40
Older campsite but nice. Right beside the stampede grounds and river, close to city center. Some paved pads, some pull thrus, only the pull thrus are big rig friendly, the rest are tight or impossible. Washrooms were clean but are open to the general public. Services can be difficult to hook up to due to their configuration. Reasonably priced ($20). We will be staying here again. Max stay is 5 days.
This is an exceptional park. Large grassy areas between each campsite. The campsites are all paved and level. Mature trees. Very clean, close to downtown, quiet. Reservations definitely recommended. Will be definitely stay there again.
Staff were friendly & efficient. We had a grassy pull thru site. It was a little wet from all the rain. Other sites were gravel and grass. Decent size with some privacy from the adjoining site. Washrooms, showers & laundry were clean. Nice common room & playground for children. Trees need to mature. Free Wi-Fi, no cable. We stayed there for three nights & would stay there again. Good Sam rate $32.50
Staff were friendly. Older KOA & some of the sites are a little tight in both width & length. Weak Wi-Fi system at best. We have stayed here several times before & the campsite has always been busy. Much quieter this time. Still has it’s full timers but transient clients seems to be down. Might be the economy or maybe due to road construction on the street leading in to the camp. Also seems to be less train traffic, you are near the main-line & it can be noisy.
Friendly staff, easy check in. Convenient to town, easy access. The park is very well laid out, sites are large, limited pull thrus, full hookups except TV. Wi-Fi was spotty, possibly due to ongoing construction. Campground is a little sparse but will improve as the trees, shrubs and lawns mature Washrooms and laundry were spotless. Access to motel pool included. Train tracks behind campground but were a non factor. Would definitely stay there again. Good Sam rate $27.
Staff very friendly & helpful. Escorted to our site & assisted in set-up. Campsite was full but managed to find a site for us. I would recommend a reservation. This is a large park but has many long stay clients, and they also had a large group booked in. Whole park very clean & presentable, as were the washrooms & laundry facilities. We were staying only one night on our way home. Would stay there again. Good Sam rate $27.90
Staff was friendly & very helpful. Campground is nice & will be very nice when the trees mature. Sites are a little tight but are laid out so there is room for slides & awnings. All pull thrus. All services. Washrooms & laundry are very clean. Some hi-way noise during the day but quiet at night. We stayed there for two nights & would stay there again. Good Sam rate $34.50
Staff was accommodating & gave helpful local info when asked. Campground roads were only fair but passable. Good free Wi-Fi, no cable. Convenient location to town. Entrance a little deceptive. Sites are a decent size. There were several longer term units there. OK for a night or two. Good Sam rate $32 less 10%.
Very helpful & friendly staff. Campsites are large and mostly shaded. Park is clean and very well maintained. Free Wi-Fi & cable. Nice clean washrooms & free showers. Good laundry facilities. A little close to the freeway, some noise. We stayed for 2 days & would stay there again. Good Sam rate $34.
Very friendly & helpful staff. Escorted us to our site. Campsite is laid out very orderly with mostly pull-thrus and shared shelters for the picnic tables. Full hookups with free Wi-Fi. Some difficulty with connections. Cable TV was $3 per day. In my opinion not worth it, limited channels. Washrooms are large and presentable, laundry was under renovations. Games room, some supplies, meeting area, basketball court & gas pumps that were shut down. A good facility. We stayed for 4 days and would stay there again. Good Sam rate $34.
Very friendly staff, let us preview several site before choosing. Escorted to our site and assisted us in backing in. Some pull thrus, full hookups including strong Wi-Fi and cable. Some shaded sites. Some sites a little tight, some sites have trees that impair the opening of awnings and/or slides. Staff very helpful in making sure your site is right for your needs. Washrooms and laundry very clean. Heated pool. We stayed there for three days and would stay there again. Good Sam rate $29
Easy access, friendly and helpful staff. We were escorted to our site and assisted us to back into our site. Big rig friendly with several pull thrus. Full hookups including free Wi-Fi but a $2 charge for cable. Some shaded sites. Washrooms, showers and laundry were clean. We stayed for two days and would stay there again. Good Sam rate $27.
Evergreen Campground Havre Staff was friendly and escorted us to our spot and assisted us to back into our site. The site was very tight. We could not deploy our awning and our slide was only five to six feet from the next unit. We had full hook ups. The WiFi free and strong. They definitely have a mosquito problem so not having a picnic table was not a problem. There is lots of shade and it appears most of the sites are long term guests. Washrooms and laundry could use a cleaning and/or renovations. OK for one night but we would not stay any longer.
Staff is very friendly and helpful. Campground is a little sparse as the trees need to fill out a little more and the grass needs to fill in. Pull thru sites will handle most rigs. Convenient location. Full service except for cable TV. Owners are currently modifying some of the sites. We paid $28 per night with a senior’s discount. We stayed two nights and would definitely stay there again.
We had a pull through site with lots of room. Sites were clean, bathrooms and showers are a “10” for cleanliness. Close to town. Wi-Fi = $. Laundry = $. Each site had a picnic table and grassy area. Quiet. Would definitely stay here again.
The sites are very tight, if you have a pull out or an awning you have to choose which one you would like to use (if your site has enough room). The washrooms were clean; staff was friendly, pay showers and laundry. No pull through sites, mostly grassy sites (a little sparse in spots). Some road noise during the day but quiet at night. Small playground for kids and a small heated pool. Very scenic location. Fresh baking if pre-ordered the night before $. We paid $30 per night. The campsite charged our credit card for two nights six weeks before we arrived. We had reserved for three nights. Seems a little steep and definitely an overly early charge. Probably will not stay here again.
