We were here a week and the WiFi never worked. The manager told us that it was going to be fixed the day we arrived but it never was! This campground is a large gravel parking lot with no grass, tress or even bushes. It was not even comfortable to sit outside. It is close to two casinos. We stayed here to visit Santa Fe and Los Alamos. There were no restrooms or showers or laundry facilities.
This campground is more of a fishing resort. It is woodsy which I liked; however, the site we were in was narrow. My biggest complaint was the drinking water! It smelled and tasted very bad! We even filtered it three times! To bathe in it it, left you smelly. The laundry only had cold water and of course the water made the clothes smelly. The lake was very beautiful with the Three Sisters mountains in the back ground.
If you have a rig that is 25plus feet don't go to this campground. Also if you go be sure to takes lots of leveling equipment. Our site was a pull thru paved but we have to jack the trailer up on one side about eight inches! We watched class c come into back up sites and could not get level. Fifth wheels were hitting the trees as they came through the campground. Otherwise the campground was very nice and clean. We did enjoy our stay there though.
This campground has very little shade and is in the desert. We were there in late May 2014 so it was very hot! The WiFi was not working. There was trash along side of the fence where there was vegetation. We were there for overnight, but I would not stay again.
