If you are looking for a campground near the ocean and overpriced, then this is for you!! The entrance and exit is terrible and sites are as tight as you can get. Big rig, forget it. The advertising says cable TV and Wi-Fi, yes, you pay extra for that. $2 a day for cable and $7.95 a day for Internet. The site that I had could have been a bit more level. The staff in the office was very nice and very well should be for $80 a night. My family and I will not be returning.
Good park for overnight stay. The nicest and cleanest restrooms, showers and laundry of any RV park we have ever stayed. Interior road are gravel and a little dusty. Sites are a little bit too close for us and the traffic from I-40 is terrible. The host was very nice and sociable. The park is convenient to about any kind of shopping you would want to do and you can walk to it.
I now know how a sardine feels. Sites are entirely too small. Perimeter sites are perpendicular parking and if you don't have someone to guide you it could be a problem. The interior road is all to pieces and the internet is as slow as dial-up if you get it up at all. The Passport America ad does not tell all the restrictions but you will find out when you check in. I was thankful that I had my own bath and toilet. We will not stay here again. There are too many other parks in the area.
This is the best RV Park, by far, in the Meridian area. Staff will treat you like real people. It is a PA park and the park and amenities are as good as you will find anywhere. Concrete slabs at every site and good entrance and exit. Very quiet and only about 2 or 3 miles to town. We have stayed here before and will stay here again.
Very nice place to stay and if you do stay here, go to Jan's Seafood and try their catfish. What a treat. The staff were so nice and helpful to tell you about things in the area that might interest you. The concrete sites were big and easy to enter and exit. Cable and internet is great. We will be back.
This is one of the nicest RV parks we have ever stayed at in 6 yrs of RV'ing. The owners and the entire staff are what you want when you drive into a campground. They are super nice and helpful with recommendations of things in the area. The park is well manicured in the grassy areas and the interior roads are smooth even though they are gravel. The cable TV is super with a lot of channels. The internet Wi-Fi is great and the cell signal is also good. The view is awesome and they have good accommodations for groups and rally's. It is easy to access of I-74 and only about 3 or 4 miles from down town Mt. Airy. We already have a future reservation. Check it out.
The staff were very nice. There is no cell service in this ravine. The trash truck comes every morning at 7:30. For the location and no more amenities that they have, I think it is overpriced. If you have an emergency and have to leave, you don't get a refund. They don't give Good Sam discounts or any other discounts that I am aware of. If you stay 6 nights you do NOT get the seventh free.
This campground is extremely over priced. Nothing is paved in the entire campground and the entrance drive has deep holes in it. The trees make it very close to drive big rigs through. It is about 11 miles from the Gulfshores activity area. The staff is very friendly. We camped here in a motorhome and would not stay here again.
If you want cable TV, you better keep on riding. If the cable works at all, you still can't use it. The driveway has some huge holes and your RV might drag the ground. There are a lot of rundown permament RV's. Sites and lanes are not marked well enough to see after dark. The Wi-Fi is good and the staff is nice. The problems seem to be managment problems. An overnight stay maybe, but extended stay: NO. There are not a lot of attractions in this area.
Very over priced campground. No trees and not much grass. You can get WIFI but you have to pay for it. It should be free for the price they charge. The staff was very nice and the park is convenient to the big flea market and most other businesses.
Great campground with bid sites. Their WIFI needs some work. The host were very informative about the area and very nice people. Very near to Custer State Park. Convenient to Mount Rushmore and Crazy Horse Memorial.
This is a very nice park and well managed. The managers are really nice people and very hospitable. The pool is really clean and well kept. It is very quiet at night and there is no traffic noise from I-65, but very convenient to I-65. The restrooms and laundry are immaculate. Columbus is a nice town to visit. We will be back.
This is a campground not a RV park. It is back off I-95 so the traffic is not a big problem. The staff in the office were very nice. There are a lot of junky resident rv's in the park. Some of the sites are not level and some of the streets are rough. They are not paved. The restrooms are a disaster. Water backs up in the showers and some of the comodes do not flush properly. About half the machines in the laundry work. Lots of campers had trouble finding their assigned site because of poor marking.
The park is very easy to get to just off I-64. Once you get to the park you will find the 50 amp. Full hook-ups very close and near Hiway 250, very noisy from traffic. The laundry was closed due to painting being done and they had only two washers and two driers and they were not new. The staff in the office were nice and cordual. I would stay there again for a short stay.
This is a great little mountain RV Park in the Smokie Mountains of North Carolin just a little north of Marion. They have no laundry but it is quiet and clean. The staff is friendly and very cordual host. The stream will tranquilize you if you have a site near it. Great sleeping with the windows open. The road is a little narrow and crooked but my 40 footer made it OK pulling a toad. We will certainly go back.
