Just walk over the boardwalk at the park, and you are on the lovely beach. Better yet, drive your golf cart over then drive up the beach to Port Aransas for shopping as many people do. How wonderful! This is not a 55 park so your hot tub visits may provide more interesting than what you are used to. The facilities are good, and I can see why this is a popular park. I loved sitting on the beach at night during a warm evening. You will probably like this park as well but watch out for the tiny red ants.
This park sits out on its own, miles from nowhere except a ghost town. The closest cities are Tombstone and Sierra Vista. You must use your car anytime you need groceries. However, the park is quiet and the views are gorgeous. I absolutely love it. There is a Wi-Fi hotspot in the library which is adequate providing not more than two people are on it at the same time. It is cold in the winter due to elevation. I highly recommend this park.
I love this place. The park is beautiful, and it even has a gym. The pool was not heated when we were there due to budget constraints. This drew a few grumbles. However, they did feature free bowling on Friday night plus low priced food so what's not to like? The Wi-Fi where we were was iffy. The park isn't as popular as others in town because it is not close to casinos. It is a wonderful place to spend some time though. Highly recommended.
This is a nice facility and right on the water. The Wi-Fi is good. The water around South Padre Island has a high salt content so your vehicle may become a rust bucket if you spend lots of time here. The Pier 19 restaurant has tons of charm. You need to at least visit. For good breakfast try Yummies. This RV park has good facilities and is in a very scenic area. It is worth a stay.
We stayed 4 nights until just after Christmas. The facilities are modern and attractive. The showers seem inadequate though. There are 4 small ones, and the changing area is very crowded when there is at least one other person there. You have the option of paying for the Internet. We just used the Internet provided in the library which worked well (but you have to cart your computer up there). Overall we liked the park and would return but the very small shower facilities do concern me.
This is a decent, older park, but I am uncertain if I would return. We stayed 3 nights. We parked on a grass site very close to other people. Because of the grass we constantly dragged it into the camper. We had heavy rains one night which mean wet feet trying to get into the camper. The hot tub is beautiful but small as is the pool. We paid for Wi-Fi and the reception was excellent. The other RV campers were friendly. There is no beach to speak of in Fulton and no sidewalk to walk to it if there were one.
We stayed a week and enjoyed our time here. The WiFi didn't reach our unit but when in the social room it worked fine. The pool was not heated when we were there but the hot tub worked well. They have a wonderful activity director and a bus to take you around but don't expect activities such as wood shop. The garbage is left out front in the morning to be collected while we would prefer dumpsters available to dump our own. This is a fancy park and people with some wonderful and expensive RV's stay here. The facilities are modern and well kept. It is close to the freeway and some noise is present but not bothersome to us. Access to the freeway is very convenient.
This is a Good Sam Park? Everything is dirty and broken. The WiFi doesn't work. You don't feel safe here. I expected much more from a Good Sam park. The other previous poor reviews about this park are correct. Give it a miss.
