I had to laugh when I read the reviews. I thought it may have been me that had problems with the management. This campground has great potential. The people who run the campground have the worst attitude of any campground I've ever been to. Nice grounds but some areas need attention.
Very nice campground and only a couple of miles from Key West. A lot quieter than Sugarloaf Key and just as nice. Only drawback is the tight spaces, not much room to spread out. Fishing and boat docks are great as is the view. Like most of the lower Keys, campgrounds are pricey, over $100 a night. I will go back when visiting Key West.
Great Location, nice hosts, on the gulf, beautiful view, small and quiet. Well kept, clean. One of my favorite places in the panhandle. Close to Carabella, Apalacacola and Tellahassee is due north about 40 mi. There's no pool or activities but there's a very long fishing pier. Great place to day trip from.
Beautiful park and facilities except for the camping area. The campsites are on dirty dusty roads, everytime a vehicle goes by your in a cloud of dust. I was on the main road in the camping area. For such a nice park they should have planned the camping area better. I was booked for 5 nights and left after 1. Went next door to Key Largo Kampground and Marina which is my usual place to stay in Key Largo.
