Nice campground with large level grass and gravel sites and good utilities. The pull-through sites do not have shade but this made it easy to acquire a satellite signal, they do not have cable. The Wi-Fi worked OK but was slow at times and our Verizon signal would drop out at times. The dirt road into the campground is a little tight but not a big problem. They have a huge bonfire at the pond on Saturday nights and activities sometimes during the weekend. The young lady at the office was very nice and helpful. Tip: site 75 has a large cement pad, the only one in the campground. We would stay here again.
This campground is on rolling hills and most of the grass back-in sites are not level. Our site was large enough to put out the slides and awnings but was on such a slope that the rear wheels of our motorhome were off the ground. The cost includes Passport America discounts for 5 of the 7 days and our site might be for PA members. The utilities worked well and they had many channels on the cable. Good Wi-Fi and nice pool, restaurant and store. Very friendly host and they will help you get parked. We would stay here again.
This campground has large level grass back-in sites and very shaded. The cost includes Passport America discounts for 5 of the 7 days. I found it easy to get to the campground from the south but did hear complaints from others that drove through Exeter. The full hookup sites only have 30 amps and the voltage was so low that we tripped the breaker a couple of times. The sewer drainage would also back up if you drained too fast. No cable or over-the-air TV but we were able to pickup a satellite signal with our portable dish. Wi-Fi was slow but Verizon cell coverage was good. They have a nice pool and do a few activities during the weekends, mostly for the kids. Even with the negatives, we would stay here again.
We really enjoyed our stay here and had a large grass back-in FHU site across the street from the office. The sites are not on top of each other and felt like camping in the woods, not a parking lot. The utilities works well and the Wi-Fi was very fast. The campground was easy to get in and out of as was the camp site. They have a nice pool, gameroom and a well stocked store. The host are friendly and will help you get into your site if needed. We would stay here again.
This is a gated campground with grass and dirt back-in sites that are plenty big enough for slides and awnings. The utilities at our FHU site worked well and we had good Wi-Fi and were able to pickup a few OTA channels. They have lots of activities for kids and a big playground. It was easy to get in and out of the park as was our site. Our only complaint was the barking dogs, the worst we have experienced in almost 4 years of full-timing. The park host warned them a couple of times but it didn't help much. I don't believe it is a regular issue, just a few campers that didn't care what others thought. The host are very friendly. We would stay here again.
We had a huge lot near the front with FHU and 50 amps service. The site was grass and a little soggy which our jacks sunk into. It was easy to get in and out of the park and easy to park our rig. The grounds are well kept and they have a small lake for swimming and fishing and a well stocked store. Most of the FHU sites are 30 amps and most of the 50 amps sites do not have sewer hookups so plan ahead. The sewer drainage did backup a couple of times when we drained and we learned to drain slowly. There is Wi-Fi at the office and we were able to pick it up at our site. No cable but we able to pickup a few over the air channels. There are some activities for kids and the park was nice and quiet and they have very friendly hosts and permanents. We would stay here again.
This is located on the side of a mobile home park and was easy to get and out of. The gravel and grass back-in sites are small with just enough room to put the slides out and your hookups will be in your neighbor's site. Our assigned site had trash and hundreds of cigarette butts on it. They say they have Wi-Fi but we were only able to connect to their router but it would not connect to the internet for the whole week. Our neighbors said the same thing and the office acknowledged it but did not make an effort to fix it. They do have cable and our Verizon network worked well. We might stay here again for an overnight stay.
This campground is being updated but it is still nice. The sites are level grass sites and many are pull-through with cable. The 50A sites do not have sewer but do have a gray water hookup with a water hose connection but it backed up the couple of times we tried to use it. They do have a daily pump out service if you sign up before noon. The park has a huge pool and hot tub but the hot tub was out of service. They have free Wi-Fi at the office and very fast pay Wi-Fi at the sites. The host are very nice and helpful and they have several activities going on during the weekends. We would stay here again.
This park is a good deal for 2 people but they charge $7 per day per person for additional people. The back-in grass sites are large but on a slight incline where we had to put blocks under our rear jacks. The entrance to the office is tight with turns. The 50A power is very good and water pressure was good most of the time. The Wi-Fi is so slow it's almost useless but our Verizon signal was strong. There is no cable but we were able to receive a few OTA channels. They had a Tex-Mex night while we were there and we enjoyed it. There is a pool but we didn't use it. We would stay here again.
This park is easy to get to but the roads are a bit tight with lots of turns and trees but we did it in our 40' motorhome. The back-in grass sites are well shaded and a little small but have enough room for slides and awnings. There is no Wi-Fi and no cable and we couldn't pickup any OTA channels. Our Verizon signal was weak and would drop calls at times. Even with these drawbacks we liked this campground and would return.
This park is secluded but nice and easy to get to. The roads are dirt and the back-in sites are grass and large enough for slides and awnings. The FHU sites near the entrance are 30 Amps and the voltage was so low that we couldn't run the A/C and water heater at the same time. The water pressure was good but the sewer hookup is on the wrong side and we had to run the hose under the motorhome. There is no Wi-Fi and no cable but we were able to pickup a few OTA channels. Our Verizon hotspot worked well. The host and maintenance personnel are very friendly. We would stay here again.
This is a small no frills campground but very nice and very quiet and great location. Getting to and from the campground was easy as was getting in and out of the all back-in sites. The sites are dirt but level with plenty of room for your slide outs and awning. Each site has a picnic table and most no shade. We had good power on our 50 amp site but they charge by the usage even on short stays. At 15 cents per KW it was cheaper to use our propane at times. The water pressure is good and tasted good. The WI-FI did not work most of the time and the host was working on it but we did have a strong signal on our Verizon link. The cable had many channels to choose from. We would stay here again.
We stayed here a few months while visiting family. This is a nice clean park with good utilities and level sites. Each site has a picnic table on a concrete pad and many of the sites has shade. The roads are paved but are in need of repair. The easiest way in and out of the park is through the flea market parking lot off of US-1. We would stay here again.
We really enjoyed this campground and would have rated it higher if not for the weekend drunks. The rate reflects a PA discount for Sunday through Thursday. The sites are grass, fairly level with a picnic table but no shade and our site was located next to a concrete pond. We had FHUs with good power, water pressure and well located connections. They have WI-FI but it is Tengonet which means it was useless most of the time. The Verizon signal was a little weak but we were able to use our hotspot most of the time. The cable has many channels and the lack of shade would make getting a good satellite signal easy. The pool was closed while we were there but we heard it opens on Memorial Day. The resort is very quiet during the week but gets very noisy with loud music and loud voices on the weekend. The partying continued on the lower H row sites well past midnight and the other residents said this has been going on for a while. The office personnel were very friendly and told us about a few of the local attractions. We would probably stay here again if we could get a spot in a different location of the park.
The rate reflects a PA discount for 5 of our 7 days stay. The campground is easy to get to but there is not a lot of room at the entrance, the front office was closed and it would be helpful if they put a sign out front to direct campers to continue to the house without having to stop first and read the small sign in the window. All sites are level, shaded and back-in only and they have plenty of room to put out the slides and awning. Each site has a picnic table which is placed on a small pad. There are only 30 amps sites and the voltage level is low and we had some issues with low voltage. The water pressure was a little low at times but not a problem. The sewer connections are located in the rear of the sites and we had to use 25' of sewer line. There is no WI-FI but our Verizon hotspot worked well on 4G. There is no cable but we were able to receive a few OTA channels. The park is very quiet and the host was very nice and helpful. We would stay here again.
This campground needs a lot of work. It doesn't look like anyone has spent any effort on it's upkeep. The lots are dirt and the little grass that is there hasn't been cut all season. The site they put us on only had 30 amps even though we requested 50. They do not have cable but we were able to pickup a few over the air channels. The sites are back-in and a bit tricky to get into because of the trees and location of the sewer connection. Most of the sites do not have sewer connections. There are many permanent campers and made will not make you feel welcomed. The campground will charge for all your visitors, even if they are only going to be there for a couple of hours and not using any of the facilities. We will not stay here again.
This is a very nice park and well kept. The sites are level and paved. The utilities worked well and the cable TV has a lot of channels. The Wi-Fi is fast most of the time. There is a very nice pool and play area at the clubhouse. It has a shuttle that comes around every 20 minutes to take you to the casino or restaurants. It is easy to get in and out of the campground, but all the sites are back-in. The office personnel was very friendly and helpful. We would stay here again.
We happened to be visiting this park while they were doing their end of the summer bash. Lots of activities going on especially for the kids. The park is easy to get in and out. The sites are paved and level. The utilities worked well and the Wi-Fi was very fast. They have cable TV which had lots of channels. The pool was big and clean and the park has some nice playgrounds. Each site has a fire pit and most campers were enjoying a campfire. The host were very friendly and helpful. We would stay here again.
This is a nice park and well maintained. We stayed on a premium site which was a pull-through with a concrete pad and large yard. The utilities worked well and the Wi-Fi was one of the fastest we have seen. They don't have cable TV but we were able to pick up several over the air channels. The campground and sites are easy to get in and out of. The office personnel was friendly and helpful and told us about the things to do in the area. We would stay here again.
We stayed here a couple of days while passing through the area. The sites are level and are well maintained. The utilities worked well and the Wi-Fi was fast most of the time. They don't have cable but we were able to pickup several over the air channels. The roads are not laid out well for big rigs but we didn't have any trouble getting in and out. Make sure you swing wide before getting to the gates. The GPS will get you close but you have to look for the campground's small sign. Follow the blue camping sign from the highway but turn left at the end of the road, our GPS turned us right so we had to make another approach. The host were not very friendly and just wanted to get us out of the office. We would probably stay here again if in the area.
We stayed here for a couple of days while passing through. The sites are level and most have a concrete pad and picnic table on them. The utilities worked well and the water is great for drinking. They use a water softer which helps with the taste and water spots. The Wi-Fi worked OK and they have cable TV with local channels and a couple of other channels. They have a nice pond with paddle boats and a game room. It was easy to get around in the park but you have to pay close attention to your turns on the roads to the park. The host/owners are very friendly and helpful. We would stay here again.
We liked this park and wished we had more time to spend there. The campground is nothing more than a parking lot for RVs, but the sites have plenty of room for our RV and Jeep and we were able to put out our awnings with plenty of room to spare. The sites are paved and the utilities worked well. Water pressure is very high so put your regulator on your hose inlet. The Wi-Fi was fast most of the time. You have to drive through a tourist area and the streets were tight and busy but we didn't have any problems getting to the campground. It was great to watch the ships and the Aerial Bridge. We road our bikes to the shops and the tourist areas. The host was friendly and very helpful. We would stay her again.
This is a nice little campground with less than 20 sites. The sites are fairly level and we were able to park our 40' into lot #3 without any problems. These are electric only sites but they have a dump station on site. The sites have lots of shade which makes satellite antennas almost useless. There is no Wi-Fi and we were not able to pickup any over the air TV channels. The campground is very close to the highway and railroad and can get noisy at times. Even with these issues we liked this park. It is on the Mississippi River and just feet from the small dam. Most campers fished the river. We would stay here again.
We stayed here for a few days while visiting the National Park and the area. The sites are very long and level. The sites and roads are dirt but they had a water truck putting down water all day long. The utilities worked well and the Wi-Fi was good. There is no cable but we were able to pickup a few TV stations over the air. It's easy to get to and very easy to park your rig. The host are friendly and helpful. Nothing fancy but a nice and growing park. We would stay here again.
This campground has a lot of great things going for it but a few issues that made us rate it as we did. The host/owners are super friendly and helpful. Driving into and around the park was easy. You will drive a couple of steep hills on the way to the park. The sites are level and the location is beautiful. They laid out the campground where a lot of the campers are sharing a 50 amp power pole. This means one camper will get the 50 amps receptacle and the other has to use the 30 amps. The problem with doing this is the power pole is rated 50 amps so when both campers pull a lot of current the voltage drops. Our voltage dropped below 105 several times and would sometimes trip the breaker. The water pressure was good most of the time, but around 9 pm everyday, it dropped to a point where we couldn't take a shower in our rig. Just wait for about 30 minutes and the pressure will return. They charge extra for showers and also charge for the Wi-Fi. We purchased the Wi-Fi and it was very slow. There is no cable TV and we could only pickup one network channel over the air. We would probably stay here again if we could get a site where we didn't have to share the power pole.
This is a nice park within a mile of Cody. We stayed here for a couple of weeks while checking out the area. The campground is easy to get in and out. The sites are small for a big rig and hard to park your tow vehicle on your site. The sites are level with a little grass spot between campers. The Wi-Fi is one of the best we have used in a campground. The utilities worked well and the water is hard, but good tasting. There is no cable TV, so we used our satellite system. The host are friendly and helpful. We would stay here again.
We stayed here a week while checking out the area. Most of the people camping here are dancers but they welcome even no dancers. The owners are very friendly and we enjoyed spending time with them. The roads are dirt so everything gets a little dusty. There is a lot of shade on each site and this might affect your satellite signal. You have to pay an extra $1.50 a day if you want cable and there are only a few channels on it. The lots are level and the utilities worked well. All of the sites are back-in but easy to get in and out. The internet WiFi is fast and the signal was strong. We would stay here again.
We stayed here a week and liked this park. The sites are level and clean. We had a end spot and had a nice view of the mountains. We had to drive through town to get to the park but it was easy and we had no problem getting in and out of campground. Use the directions on the park's web site. The utilities worked well and the hosts were friendly. We would stay here again.
We stayed at this park for three days and really enjoyed it. The view is the best part and our rig was less than 100' from a river. Bring some firewood and enjoy their huge fire pits. The bike trail is one of the best we have ridden. We saw lots of wildlife while riding it. The sites are grass and level. They do not have cable or Wi-Fi but our Verizon connection worked well most of the time. It is close to the interstate, which made it hard to carry on a conversion outside. The electrical system needs a major overhaul. We were put on site #3 but had to move to site #6 just to get 30 amp service. The 50 amp service on site #6 is not working correctly. Most of the sites do not have sewer connection but they do have a dump station. We would rate this campground a 8 or 9 if the owners would upgrade the electric and add sewer connections. We would stay here again.
We stayed here for a week. We had a pull-through site which was a bit small but most of the other sites are smaller. They are all paved and fairly level. We had to put a couple of 4x4 blocks under our front jacks to level our motorhome. The water pressure was very low and we had to use our pump to take a shower. They allow pets in the park but you have to take them outside the park to do their business. We don't have any pets so we liked this rule. There is no Wi-Fi at this park but our Verizon worked well. You have to leave a deposit for the cable box but you will get it back when you return it, and there are only a few channels available. The park is easy to get into from the interstate and we didn't think the highway noise was bad. The hosts are friendly and the park is clean. We would stay here again.
We stayed here for a week while checking out the area. This is a nice small park with level sites and good utilities. All sites but one are back-in. There is no cable but we were able to pickup several TV channels using our antenna. The Wi-Fi is very good. We took exit 22 to the park but it is a very steep road with tight turns, exit 18 is much better. The hosts are very nice and helpful. We would stay here again.
This is a nice park and easy to get in and out of. The sites are level and each has a concrete pad to park on. The utilities worked well and there are lots of cable channels. The Wi-Fi is a little slow during peak usage but worked fine most of the time. There are several permanent campers but their sites are well kept. We would stay here again.
This is a very nice small campground. The sites are level and have a nice patio. All sites are back-in. The utilities worked well and it has one of the fastest Wi-Fi we have used. The pool is nice and clean. It has a laundry room, but no restrooms or showers. The entrance goes through a used car lot, but we had no trouble getting in and out with our motorhome and tow vehicle. The owners/operators are very nice and helpful. We would stay here again.
We stayed here a few days while checking out the area. The back-in lot was long and level and had a few trees. They also have pull-through sites. The road off the interstate is a little different and you really have to watch where to turn and where to stop. The utilities worked well, but the on-site Wi-Fi is extra. They do have free Wi-Fi in the office, but we just used our Verizon card. There are a lot of smokers in the casino, so we didn't spend much time in there. The campground will give you a couple of buy one get one free coupons when you arrive. The pool and hot tub looked nice and clean, but we didn't use them. We would stay here again.
We stayed here a week and was disappointed with this park. The sites were level but small unless you can get one of the few pull-throughs. We couldn't even park our small Jeep at our site. Our site did have a concrete patio which was nice but no picnic table. The utilities worked well but the Wi-Fi was useless. The pool and hot tub were nice and clean. There was a lot of road noise during certain times of the day. The people in the office were nice enough but not very helpful. The park was very cliquey. We would not stay here again.
This was our first time staying here and we like this park. The sites are level and the utilities worked well. The Wi-Fi was fast most of the time but would crawl at other times. It has a small, but nice, workout room and a pool table in the lodge. There were a few oranges still falling off the trees and they were very good. Our site was next to the back fence and noise was not an issue. The woman that checked us in was very friendly as were the staff. One of the staff even offered his 4-wheeler to us when we were walking to the fruit store around the corner. We would stay here again.
We liked this park. The sites are spread out and not like a parking lot. Our site was level and the utilities worked well and we didn't have any trouble getting in and out with our motorhome. We were able to pickup dozens of TV channels using our antenna. The park was very clean and has a lot of walking paths and a few ponds. There is no WiFi available but our Verizon worked well. We would stay here again.
We stayed here to check out the San Diego area and the Taylor Guitar factory. The lots are level but small. It took us a while to back our 40' motorhome in a site and the nice woman in the office said this was one of their biggest. The utilities worked well and the pool looked nice. There is a lot of road noise from the Interstate and main road. The turns are a little tight and people parking their cars partly in the road makes it tricky to get around. The wi-fi is additional but they do give you 4 hours free. We would probably not stay here again.
We stayed here for a couple of days because it's close to Mexico. The sites were level and the utilities worked well. They do not have WiFi, but our Verizon worked well here. All the sites are back-in and ours was a little tricky to get into because we needed to squeeze in between a tree and transformer. They don't take reservations, so it's first come, first served. We heard a little noise from the interstate but it didn't cause any issues. The people and host are very friendly and there are a few activities. We would stay here again.
The rate reflects the PA discount. We stayed here for a few days while checking out this area. The sites are very level and utilities worked great. The WiFi is one of the fastest we have used. The host are very friendly and helpful. The pools and hot tub areas are very nice, and they do a little cookout in their grill area by the pools. The workout room, pool tables and other facilities are in excellent shape. We would stay here again.
We spent the winter here and enjoyed this park and the area. The sites are level and most are spacious. The utilities worked well, but we did have a neighbor whose surge protector burnt out. We can't say this was caused by the park, but we did have our power blink on off a few times. Just make sure you use a surge protector, like you should anyway. The WiFi can get pretty slow at times but works well most of the time. This park has a heated pool and hot tub but closes the hot tub early, 6 PM. During the winter months the owner brings in great musical talent twice a week, and there is some kind of activity going on everyday. The location is great because it backs up to some great regional and national parks with great hiking trails. The owner and other campers were some of the friendliest people we have met so far. We would stay here again.
We stayed here a few days to check-out the area. Check-in was very easy and friendly. The entrance is easy and plenty of parking. The sites are a little tight but very level. The hookups are properly placed and all worked well. All roads are dirt so expect dust. There is no cable, but we received several stations using our antenna. They have a one-time charge of $2 for Wi-Fi, but we had an excellent connection. We liked that the dog rules are enforced. The park is quiet, clean and well kept. Shopping is about a 3 mile trip. We would stay here again.
We stayed here a week while traveling to Tucson. Check-in was fast and friendly and the entrance was easy to get into with plenty of parking. The sign at the park entrance is very small. The roads are dirt and everything is dusty. The lot sites are a little small unless you upgrade but all are level and some have shade. The Wi-Fi is a joke and don't even bother talking to the office about it, they will tell you it's a problem with your computer. Hookups are properly placed. They have a nice indoor heated pool and a game room. Dog rules are not enforced and we saw owners letting their dogs run free. The park is clean and well kept and quiet. Shopping is within a couple of miles. The park is nice, but not worth the cost. We might stay here again.
We enjoyed this park while visiting the Big Bend NP area. The sites are level, packed dirt and rock construction. We had no in or out problems with our 40'. The Wi-Fi worked well most of the time. The utilities worked well, but we did notice the power voltage was a little low at 108 the first day we arrived, it went to 120V the next day. They have a central gathering area and will have a nice fire in the fireplace most of the time. There is only one fuel station here and the prices are very high. Be aware that you could drive for 50+ miles between fuel stations on US90. There is also only one small grocery store and the prices are a little higher than the big chains, but reasonable. Be sure to get a pizza at Guzzi's, it's one of the best we have eaten. The office personnel was very friendly and helpful. We would stay here again.
We stayed here for a couple of days and really liked this park. It's doesn't have sewer connections but the dump site is easy to get to. The rinse water is in the wrong place but that is no big deal. The pull-through sites are level but some of the others are not. We had to move from one with a great view because of excess slope. The Wi-Fi works well but will stop at times. All electric sites are 30 amps. Big rigs are not a problem here, the roads are wide and the sites easy to get in and out. There are some nice hiking trails and even some geo-caches. The museum in the office area is a must see. The park rangers are very friendly and helpful. We felt very safe here. We would stay here again.
This was a very clean campground with level sites. Each site has a picnic table under a cover. There are no connections but a dump site a few miles up the road. The fresh water at the dump site was out of order while we were there but we always travel with a full tank so that wasn't an issue. The sites at one time were near the water but the lake is 37 feet low and there is no water within sight. You have to travel down a graded dirt road for about a mile to get to the campground. We would stay here again if the water level returns.
We stayed here for a week while visiting San Antonio. The sites are level and have a nice concrete pad. The cable TV has lots of channels and works well. The internet worked well most of the time but would stop for hours at a time. They have lots of activities during the week. The location is very close to downtown and we felt very safe here. Do not follow your GPS to it's address as it will lead you down a road with a huge hump over a railroad track, follow the route listed on the site. We would stay here again.
This park is a hidden gem. The sites are fairly level and covered with stones. The site we were on was a 50 amp site which is $2 more with the PA discount. The utilities worked well but there is no internet connection. There is also no cable TV but you can pickup a few over the air channels, we used our satellite dish. There was a campfire every day and night in the social area. The lake is good for fishing or just relaxing in the swing. When you arrive you just go ahead and pick a site and someone will come by later to sign you in. They do not take reservations but you can call before you arrive to make sure there is a site available. There were several available when we arrived. We would stay here again.
We stayed here for a few nights while traveling west. The sites are level and clean. The utilities work well. The WiFi was fast at times, but was slow most of the time. There is a lot of construction on the main road at the entrance to this park, but it didn't cause us any problems with getting in or out. The roads in the park are a little tight for a big rig but we didn't have any issues. The lady in the office was very nice and helpful. We would stay here again.
We stayed here while visiting the Savannah and Tybee Island area. Our site was on the lake and easy to back into. They have several pull through sites but we liked the lake view sites and all of them are back-in sites. The site was level and had a concrete pad. Utilities worked well. The TV cable works fine but the channels are limited. We were told that internet was available at the office but we didn't use it so we can't comment on it. The lady at the office was very friendly and helpful. We would stay here again.
We have stayed here a few times while visiting family. This park is nothing fancy but clean and safe. The sites are level and have a concrete pad and picnic table. The connections are good and the water taste fine. The internet is extra and a bit slow. The park is just a few miles away from downtown Columbia or Lexington. Grocery stores and fast foods are within walking distance. The duck pond looks more like a storm runoff holding area. We would stay here again.
We stayed here for a week while visiting Charleston. The sites are very level and landscaped nicely with stones. They are easy to get into and out. The pool is very nice but about a quarter mile from most campsites. No cable and acquiring a local TV station was difficult with our antenna. Our only complaint was the poor Wi-Fi. The office said they knew of the problem and were fixing it soon. The office personnel were very friendly and helpful. We would stay here again.
This is a very nice park only a few miles from Greenville. Most sites have a slight incline but that was not a problem. There are no restrooms or showers. We had a very nice shaded lot but it was not within the range of the Wi-Fi. The owners/host are very friendly. They sometimes bring a band in for entertainment at the river. We would stay here again.
Very clean park with the nicest staff we have run across so far in our travels. Check-in was fast and they escort you to your site and sanitize the connections in front of you. All sites were level and easy in and out. They have a small workout room with a few exercise machines and a nice pool table. They also have activities scheduled for a couple nights a week but we didn't have time to check those out. We would stay here again.
We stayed here 3 month and really enjoyed it. The park staff is very nice and helpful. All sites are within a 5 minute walk to the beach. We don't recommend the sites near the treatment plant because when the wind blows towards you it can be pretty bad but this is not a problem when a few sites away. The sites in the middle of the park are larger than the ones around them and most have pads. Their are lots of good channels on cable but the Wi-Fi is a little slow at times. We will stay here again.
Very nice park with friendly helpful staff. Sites have concrete pads and mostly level. Sites have cable but not many channels. Very good wi-fi. Some of the sites are close together, but we didn't find it an issue. We would stay here again.
We visited this resort because of a Camping World invitation to listen to a 90 minute sales pitch, double that unless you sign-up. The sites are level and a few with shade. The Wi-Fi is slow and you have to disable Explorer protection to get it to work. The sewer connections are poorly installed where you have to try and make stuff flow uphill. You can tell people have had problems because of spills. Some sites had power issues and we experienced low voltage. The office staff was friendly as were fellow RV'ers. We would not stay here again.
The rate shown does not include $3 per person fee. Sites are level and easy to get into even with a big rig. No sewer connections but does have a dump station. Our site had 50 amps which comes in handy when running both A/C to cool off the motorhome. The sand hills are fun to walk on and watch the kids slide down. Don't stop at the main window too long or the ranger dude will fuss at you. Campground is good for a day or two in our opinion. We would not stay here again.
Very nice park just a couple of miles south of Moab. Sites have grass and most with trees and all very level. Wi-Fi worked well. Host and owners are very friendly and helpful. They also allow you to wash your vehicles for an additional $5 to help pay for the water usage. We would stay here again.
We stayed here for 2 weeks so rate reflects weekly rate. Very nice park but some of the sites are not level. This really didn't cause us any problems. Most sites have a concrete pad and picnic table. Lots of cable channels and the pool looked very clean but we didn't use it. Nothing much in Towaoc but Cortez is only 10 miles away. We would stay here again.
We stayed here for 2 weeks. Very spacious sites with lots of shade. The park is between very high canyon walls while beautiful they block most cell and over the air TV services. It is very close to the highway and railroad so expect noise. The rate also includes a daily entrance fee. We would stay here again.
We stayed here a month while checking out this area. Campground is on a side of a hill and can be tricky to get around corners if you have a long motorhome but we were able to get parked without too much trouble with a 40' motorhome. We recommend you drop your tow vehicle before heading into the park. WiFi is only available if you are next to the office or have an antenna booster. Water taste bad so we bought drinking water. The owner/hosts are very helpful and knowledgeable of activities in the area. There is a lot of noise from the interstate and railroad but we didn't think it was too bad. We would stay here again.
We stayed here for a couple of weeks before the busy season started. The host was friendly and had a lot of to do tips for the area. The campsites towards the front are fairly level and most shaded. Roads in the park are paved, sites gravel. Hookups well placed. There was a lot of construction going on in this park getting ready for the crowds. Great location and if you like to do biking there is a trail only 100' from this campground. Rate shown is the Passport America rate. We would stay here again.
We have stayed here a couple of times while visiting family in Columbia. Sites are level and have a concrete pad. The hosts were friendly. If you have kids there is not much here to entertain them. Easy to access during the weekdays, but during the weekends the flea market is open and the traffic is heavy. We would stay here again.
Nice wooded sites with lots of space and fairly level. We stayed here for a couple of weeks while traveling to NY. Lots of hiking trails nearby. Owners/hosts were very friendly to us, but we did see him lose it a couple of time with people running over the grass, which is not hard to do in a big rig on the tight turns. We did not like all the additional cost for Wi-Fi, cable TV and 50 amp service.
We stayed here while visiting friends in Rochester. The location is great with easy access from the Interstate. The host/owners were very friendly and helpful. We would have rated this higher, but the campground needs a lot of work. The owners are improving it daily. The day we arrived about half of the campground was flooded and they had a hard time placing us. Our 40' motorhome was too large for the site we had to use and hung over on another site. We enjoyed the live music provided.
This is a beautiful park with a couple of lakes and fountains. The road to it is a little tight and curvy but we managed it slowly with a 40' motorhome. We could not get any kind of TV signal or Wi-Fi but didn't see that as a problem as we were here only 2 nights. The site we had was kind of isolated but the front yard was a lake. We would stay here again.
We have stayed here a couple of times. Nothing fancy but clean and convenient. Sites are a little tight but we managed with a 40' motorhome. Host are very friendly and helpful. Wi-Fi is available but rarely reaches the campsites. Restaurants are within walking distance. We would stay here again.
We really enjoyed staying here because of the host/owners and other campers. All were very friendly and even had a couple of music jam sessions. The pool was clean and felt great in the 100 degrees heat. Easy access from the Interstate. If you have the time be sure to drive over the Big Blue Hummer to Brookport. We would say here again.
We stopped here for a few days before heading to CO. Convenient to St. Louis but in a bad side of town. Lock your doors and stay on the main roads east of the casino. The sites are level but the connections are located at the end of them. Be sure to have 20' of sewer line and water hose. There is a park around the corner of the casino that is a must see. Be sure to visit it when they start up the fountain. The water is forced up about 600'. It also has a great view of St. Louis during sunset.
Stayed here 3 days on the way to CO. The available lots were not level and we had to use 4X4s to level motorhome. This wasn't a big deal. The host was very nice and helpful. The highway noise is loud if you are outside. The pool was clean but warm. Easy access with a big rig but I would recommend dropping off your toad at the office before heading to your site. We would stay here again.
We stayed here for a few days while traveling to CO. The park hosts were very friendly and helpful. The pool was clean and being enjoyed by many children. It has a putt-putt course but it was in need of some repair and we didn't see anyone playing on it. We enjoyed the town of Goodland and be sure to checkout the museum. We would stay here again.
