Nice small campground with site on water. The tides are amazing. The weather changes with the tide, warm one minute cold the next. We camped on the waterfront lots, full hookups, good 50 amp electric. The only problem we had was we sat through Hurricane Arthur, no electrical, no water, trees on roads, had to stay another day but it was free, We missed the "Bean Hole Beans" because of the hurricane, our loss.
This is a good campground, but the trees need to be trimmed. They are too low for big rigs. All grass sites. The electrical was usually about 112-115 volts, 30 amp only. It is within a short walk to the ocean but no waterfront sites. The worst thing about this area is getting there. The last miles to get there are worse than dirt roads, rough, low shoulders, and narrow. We moved from here to Chéticamp, much better. If you do go to Broad Cove, make the longer drive and go through Chéticamp. Our second site was large and we had enough room to get away from the trees.
We stayed here four days our granddaughter was shooting air rifles. Nice park. No shade to speak of but had good electric. I would stay here again only if I had someone shooting. While we was there they was experiencing a May Fly hatch of biblical proportions. There were dead flies everywhere. It was impossible to keep them out of our R. Bad smell but it was over about the time we left. Good paved level site. ADMIN NOTE: WiFi is available at the clubhouse
Nice place with a lot of permanent residents. GPS is wrong we had to drive ten miles to turn around. It is a little far off the interstate; entrance is narrow. Our site was mostly dirt. Good for one night and would stay here again.
Nice park but a little close to interstate. The sites are fairly level nice pull-throughs. The problem is the sites are gravel, large gravel which makes it hard to walk. We came in late, site instruction on door, no problem. Wi-Fi was really good, we was on site 20, Wi-Fi was was between us and the next site. This park is part of the RV Superstore next door. We are here for three days and would stay here again. A great convenient place for a one night stay over just off I-20.
This a beautiful park but only a few sites have sewer, we booked a sewer site but ended up on non-sewer site. Went to office and asked for sewer. Was given two sites. Both were too out of level so we moved back to original site. The worst thing about this park is the trains. Every two hours a train comes within feet of the property and blows horn to make sure every one is awake. The staff was nice but we were not offered assistance to the site. Most of the sites are empty. There were level sites with sewer but we were not offered one. This park is OK for a day or two but not good for us for longer periods. Other than the trains, this is a nice park
we stayed here for three days in October, we are located on a premium site, not much shade but good level gravel sites. there have been numerous Halloween events include haunted house, many campers competed in Halloween decorations. We stayed here because of the closeness to the Highlands. Very friendly staff, clean campground, the pool was in the process of being closed. Everything was a 9+ and would stay here again.
We stayed here a week, great place, gravel site. I think we had the only pull-through that was a pull in parallel parking place, it was a tight fit for our 43'. Even though we leveled it; it was tough from side to side. The owners were great; we loved the city Grand Lake.
This is a great place to stop by on your way. Beautiful cottonwood trees provide abundant shade. Several good eating places and fuel within walking distance. Very gracious host that guided us to our site, large site with easy access. Will stay next time we are passing by.
This is the only game in town as for West Yellowstone, very clean, very efficient people in office. Internet available for 2 hours per day free. Convenient to downtown and the park. Good water pressure and electrical voltage. Easy in and out. Next time we are in Yellowstone we will stay here.
This is a very expensive campground for what you get. It is very very dusty, sites are gravel and not level, really close, I could not put my awning out because it hit the coach in the next space. When we arrived no help in find space, this is a very large campground and growing, construction dust. Internet was spotty at best, had trouble getting on. The best thing going for this campground it is the best available close too the park. I would stay here and put up with the problems because of the location. The food at the restaurants was OK but very expensive, I will say that food seemed to be very expensive around Bryce Canyon, but it was worth the trip, beautiful.
