This campground is the closest to the Chautauqua Institution, only about a 10 minute drive. The owner does a good job keeping everything neat as a pin. It is very, very quiet. Most people are seasonal but we had a nice pull through site that worked well for our 38 footer. I would definitely stay here again.
We had driven a long ways on the Indiana and Ohio turnpikes and it was wonderful to spend the night in this peaceful, well-run campground. The swimming pool looked inviting but we got there too late to use it. Our site as grass but it was not a problem. I would definitely stop here again.
We stayed here for a week. It is right on the main highway to Moab, and there is traffic noise during the day, but it is quiet at night. I would have preferred a campground in the town of Moab because it would have been more convenient. We are about 10 miles north of Moab. Also, I prefer sites with some grass, but there is none here. It seems to be very popular with people using ATV's. The name of the park is Arch View, and you can see the Windows. The Premium Sites were all booked so we could not see the arches from our site. It is still miles away. No TV (cable or antenna) and cell service was fair.
Fantastic views of Tuzigoot, Jerome, Cottonwood and the surrounding areas. There are three areas for motorhomes and we chose the highest for the views and warmth from the sun. This is a great location for seeing the sites of the Verde Valley and beyond. The staff was welcoming and everything was clean and neat. The sites were well spaced.
Large but with three entrances, one is going to be nearby. Great location. Beautiful facilities that are well maintained. People are friendly and happy to be here. We would definitely stay here again. We had no problem backing into a space that is 35 feet wide. Each site has a grapefruit tree on it. My only wish is that there was a table for eating on the site. We came using a Passport America rate and then got a special rate for the next 45 days.
