Very quiet and very well laid out, some have very nice views of the river, only down fall was previous folks in tents did not set up on the tent pad and the grass went brown. Over all beautiful setting
Last minute trip over to Wenatchee, I needed a place for a Friday night during the summer. I called around and nothing available, but was told to call the fairgrounds. Nothing special about the place, big open grass field with full hook ups. I let the water run for a few minutes as it was rusty, but cleared up in seconds. I would come back if in a pinch.
BEWARE they are building a hotel to the casino and they start working at 630AM, and 7AM on Sundays. The front desk has little sympathy for any comments about the noise. I will not be back until completed next year some time. No showers and was rooms are located in the casino.
I've been here many times, quick check in and friendly staff. My biggest complaint is the sites are gravel and when it rains you get puddles and very muddy. Sites are level, the black connection is a few feet from other connections which can be problematic. All in all good, just wish they'd pave the sites. Very clean park and quiet. Can get windy so make sure your awning wind guard works! No showers or wash rooms in the casino.
Staff was nice, the park was clean but needed the lawns mowed and weeded. I suppose since people are there for the casino its not a big priority. Big issue was they water in the late night and puddles everywhere on the sites. I was disconnecting my utilities and my feet were sopping wet. Basic cable TV, WiFi worked great. Staff was very nice. Checkout was 11A and they extended till 1P no charge. I'd come back only as its connected to the casino. Enroll in the slot programme for a small discount.
Two parks in one. The park right off the highway is "first come, first serve. The "lower" park is reservations only. The lower park is next to the airport, small private planes, and a mobile home park. There were dogs barking all nights, but since is was not in the park, nothing can be done. Lower park lots are also "Shared" so not very private. OK for one night. WI-FI was weak
This is one of the best I have ever been to. Staff remarkable! Sites beautiful. Very wide and long. Gated with a 24hr guard. Pools were great. So quiet, yet close enough to the major casinos. Nice walk to a strip mall with Target and places to eat. Albertson's grocer right up the road. I didn't want to leave!
This park was packed for a fall weekend! We arrived about 10A on a Saturday and only found 3 pull thru full service sites. The area was experiencing a cold front so the water was turned off at the sites. I have a 40ft American Coach and had troubles with the pull thru. We ended up at site 101, tight fit but we managed. So peaceful and quiet. A lot of trees so OTA TV or satellite was not possible, that's OK we have a large selection of DVD's. Close enough to Wenatchee we did get the local radio stations for news. My Verizon Wireless service was solid 4 bars, blackberry worked very well. Just watch your corners as its tight for a bigger coach, but so beautiful and worth it.
I can't remember the exact figure we paid (about $30 I think). Place was spotless, with wonderful views and just over all pleasant. Arrived Sunday night so maybe 15 RVs at the most. Peaceful and relaxing! This State Park is better than some of the private or members-only that I have seen! We parked in # 31 space
An older park, but it was clean. The Wi-Fi was weak but it worked. The cell service did not work. I felt out of place in my 40 foot coach: stood out like a sore thumb. The staff was polite, however I might not stop again.
We arrived at 6:30PM and could not find anyone in the office. We called and only a voice mail answered. Website is rather misleading even for golfing. There are VERY narrow spaces. My coach is 40ft long, and when I called to make reservations I was assured 40ft was no problem. There is a huge problem with yellow jackets. I wont stay here again. Only stayed here to avoid the KOA and the rest areas on the 90 Freeway
It is quiet and peaceful, with not one spec of litter! It could use a pool and hot tub:) The staff was great, and went out of their way to settle us in our space. It would be a 10 star if it only had a pool. We did not see any children, so if there were any they were very well behaved. I'd go back!
This park is run down, and is very much need of a face lift or a complete over haul. Sites need racking of dead leaves, branches and bows need trimming. Gravel sites and not very level, and the wash rooms are disgusting. I was assigned a spot water and 30amps only, I could not run my microwave oven. The sewer was out of order. The next morning we moved to a 50 amp, which still needed a lot of maintenance. I have been to far superior Washington State Parks, even with all the budget cuts they are still great. I was old I was a minority cause they do not get many American Eagles in the park that require 50 amps. Basically said 50 amp is mandatory for me, membership declined.
