Older (ex-KOA) Good Sam park. Gravel/mud (rainy while here) sites are level. Some sites are long enough for big rigs, but can be difficult getting out of some. Be careful. 30 amp only may not be a problem but the electric post is "very" close to the ground. Our surge protector had to be put on some wood in the rain. Park host was very friendly and accommodating. Stayed 3 days, but would probably not return except for a quick overnight.
Rate reflects "Rally" rate. Not impressed with the park. Reservations "very" difficult to make. Phone calls never returned. Took 3-4 calls to talk to someone. Owner very accommodating. Office Manager seems to know nothing about RVing & refused to assist us several times. Most people in the park were friendly, but some actually said we were not welcome. Sites were good sized, but grass is covered with sand burrs, so much so that pets could not walk on the grass. The pet run was also covered in burrs. Expensive "pay by the drink" WI-FI is the only thing available & no cable available. This is the furthest thing from a Luxury Resort. Will not return. There are plenty of other new parks in the area to choose from.
Very clean park. Big sites & wide access roads in the park. Staff very friendly. Sites & road in front of sites cleaned immediately after someone leaves. Wi-Fi slightly weak, but tolerable. Stayed for 10 days. Will definitely stay again when in the area. Can't wait to see the planned new buildings & sites in the new area.
Great park. Good sized sites, even huge 75-80' pull-throughs. Very clean & quite, even though relatively close to route 160. Great WIFI & don't want to forget very friendly & very accommodating owners.
We stay here at least each year. The park is very clean, and owners are great. Cable TV is being installed, and soon all sites should have 50amp available. Mosquitoes this year are very bad, but that's all I can say bad about it. We don't care about the lack of pool or playground. Prices would only increase, and it would become noisier. We love the quiet setting watching boats & yachts go by. We will keep coming back.
Passport America rate of $20 for full hookups was a bit much as $5/day was for sewer. The interior dirt roads are still loaded with holes, and there are still only 3 sites with sewer. TV & satellite are nonexistent. The check-in process was efficient and friendly, but that was the best thing about the park. Had trouble situating the motorhome wheels between rocks and holes. The worse thing was the kids on ATVs who were allowed to roam around the campground unsupervised and making lots of ATV noise. Although some newer sites are under construction, it seems they have been under construction for a long time. I will not be going back there anytime soon.
