Stayed here for 1 overnight late October. Just the two of us. Not many folks around. But it looks like a great place for family with kids vacation. Beautiful view from open hilltop site U3 (perfectly level pull-thru), but would be too hot in summer. The Wooded hilltop sites look very inviting and level. We did not check out the lower riverside sites. This place is huge, so golf carts are available for rent. Staff is friendly, professional, and helpful, took us right to our site. Bathrooms and showers are modern and clean. Full hookups worked fine. -1 point for weak WI-FI on the hill. Camp store was mostly snacks and kid stuff, few RV parts. We would camp here again.

Stayed here for 1 overnight late October. Just the two of us. Not many folks around. But it looks like a great place for family with kids vacation. The center full-hookup area is flat and level, nicely wooded, grass sites, with a lovely stream. Lots of recreational facilities for kids. Staff is friendly and helpful, took us right to our site. Bathrooms and showers modern and clean. Water, electric, cable worked OK. Weak cell and WI-FI signals. We would definitely camp here again.

Stayed here for 1 overnight late October. Just the two of us. Not many folks around. NO recreational facilities here what so ever. Nothing to do. Office store has only RV parts, no goodies. Upper lot is just close parallel rows of multi-unit pull-thru lanes ("last one in is last one out"). Lower lot nicer, but below road grade. The "steam" is just barely a rivulet. Staff was friendly and helpful, took us right to our site. Bathrooms and showers are modern and clean. Full hookups worked OK.

Stayed here for 1 overnight in late October. Just the two of us. Not many folks around. A bit off the beaten track: be sure to turn into it at the Terrels Creek Baptist Church. Staff is friendly and helpful. Grounds are beautiful, tall oaks and pines but not too dense. Sites are huge (former mobile home lots). Very peaceful here, in fact too peaceful. There are NO bathrooms or showers, no camp store, no picnic tables, no fire pits (county ordinance), and no recreation or pool. Just one distant tiny, old jungle gym. Full hookups including cable TV worked ok. We would not stay here again.

Stayed here for 1 overnight in late October. Just the two of us. Not many folks around. But it looks like a great place for family with kids vacation. Has a nice rec hall and small pavilion. Staff is friendly and helpful, took us right to our site. The grounds are nicely wooded and a bit rolly (?), but our site and most others were quite close to level. Bathrooms and showers modern and clean. Full hookups and cable TV worked well. WiFi signal was weak. We would camp here again.

Stayed here for 1 overnight in late October. Just the two of us. Not many folks around. But it looks like a great place for family with kids vacation: ferris wheel, carrousel, pool and all. Staff was friendly and helpful. Bathrooms and showers modern and clean. Full hookups worked ok. However, most of the grounds are gravel: very little grass or trees, and all open. Making it hot and hard to tell which site is which. But we would stay here again for either overnight or a family vacation.

To quote their web page, this campground is "nature's playground"! Our site was right on Montezuma Wildlife Refuge waters, with an active noisy Osprey nest nearby. No complaints - wonderful evening serenade and morning alarm clock. Rented one of their canoes and saw lots of waterfowl. The owners were wonderful friendly - showed us where to see eagles, and helped me replace awning pull-down strap. The campground is clean, neat, and tidy. So is the office. Pool looked inviting, but we didn't have time to enjoy it. Sites are well spaced, nice grass, and quite level. Choose sun or shade. Interior roads are gravel in good condition. Flush toilets and hot showers were fine. We would camp here again.

Spent a nice 3-night weekend here. Upon entering office, I thought we had entered an up-scale hotel: almost too fancy for a campground. All facilities are very nice and modern, and the staff was very friendly, courteous, and professional. Adjacent store clean and well-stocked. Grounds mostly level, good roads. All sites are paved pads, with clean gravel all around (good for drainage, no mud), but gave a man-made feeling to the place. Right amount of shade and sun. Spacing is a bit close, but tolerable. High water pressure: be sure to bring a regulator. Electric and cable TV worked fine; WiFi was strong near Activity Center, weak-to-none further away. Seems like a great place for kids: lots of facilities and activities for them. Swimming Pond/Beach were closed for the season, but looked very inviting. As empty nesters, we were on our own, so only used the pool once, it was lovely. Evenings were quiet and pleasant.
