Park is ran by a family that has no idea what they r doing! The residents in the park are wonderful. The park does have a few families (6 people & 5 dogs) living in a one bedroom park model and another family of 4 dad (when hes not in jail), mom, 2 boys, 2 cats and 1 dog) living in a very small class C. The young man running the park is very very loud and drives very fast through the park. The pool is dirty all the time and the furniture around the pol is old and broken (that's if you are lucky enough to find one) there are only 3 lounge chairs. I never saw the owner do any work in the park and it shows. Lots of kids and nothing for them to do here. Wont come back and from the conversations we had with some of the residents they will be looking for a new park for next winter.
It is really just an old air strip that's beat to heck and back, huge pot holes. This is really just for Tiffin products that are in need of repairs due to bad manufacturing and many product recalls that they don't tell you about (they let you find the problems out on your own). The town has nothing to offer but very dirty restaurants (got food poising from the Chinese place). Don't waste your time and money.
This park was very clean, the lots are very big and are some of the easiest to get your rig into. It was quiet even though we could see the highway. The nights we stayed the owners lit a fire in the community fire pit, the people were very friendly and went out of their way to say Hi. And the park is on a hill so no problem seeing some of the best sunsets and the mountains.
This park has a lot of people that live here full time and they have a lot of junk sitting outside their trailers. They have a dog run but the locals seem to think its a giant litter box for their dogs, no one cleans up after their dogs. The locals speed through the park and we were in fear of our coach being hit everyday. People stayed pretty much to themselves and seemed very off standing. They have a shuttle to the French Quarter but could never find anyone around to take it. We left this park and found one closer to the French Quarter. We would not stay here again or recommend it to anyone else.
Very nice, the people and staff are really friendly. Clean, clean park. The continental breakfast was great. We will be back for sure and I will be sure to pass on the good word and recommend this park to everyone we meet. Thank you to the staff! Very big rig friendly.
BEWARE!!! You are told to follow a guide to your site. They don't tell you your site number, big secret. The guide then tells you with his hands how to pull in, but he fails to tell you if there are obstacles in your way. Be very careful, the electrical boxes are 16 inches off the ground and very hard to see (especially when you're trying to watch the guide's hand) and there are trees that block the view. We tried to talk to the manager about this hand signals problem that caused us to gouge the side of our coach, but he would not listen and screamed at us. The Wi-Fi is almost non-existent. We will not be back. And I will post about this park for a long time to come.
Good park, they offer shuttle service into the French Quarter for $4.00 Round trip a person. The staff were very friendly and offered help when needed. We stayed there for 3 weeks. Beware though their prices change during special events and they book up fast for the Holidays. They do have a bar on sight and their menu offers pizza and wings delivered right to your door. We will be back
