The gravel road was a little wash board going to the campground, but driving very slow it was no problem. During check in the office staff was very nice and informative. Our site was level and plenty long for our motorhome and tow but was soft from watering the grass early that morning. Even with blocks under the jacks we still had to relevel every day. The campground is located on a slight hill and each site is terraced which affords every site a beautiful view of the valley and sunsets. The problem is the run off of water from the grass areas on the driver side of the coach and running underneath which causes a muddy situation for unhooking in the morning plus keeping the ground soft. We understand from the staff they are building a new section to the campground and hope they eliminate the water problem on the sites. The owners are working everyday to make the campground better and I'm sure these things will be taken care of. Will stay here again on our next trip.
Staff in office were very nice and helpful. Their camp store was very well stocked. Sites were level and plenty long for our motorhome and tow. Good big rig sites. Excellent 50 amp service. Good wifi. Easy on and off the interstate. Great stop over.
Staff was very nice at check in. Sites were very narrow making you very close to neighbors with slides out. Owners need to spend a little money to make the campground look more inviting. Good overnight stop.
We spent 4 nights at this campground and looking forward to staying here again next year while out west. This is a true big rig campground!! On check in the owners go out of their way to make you welcome and supply the information you need to make your stay enjoyable. All sites are long and level with plenty of room between you and your neighbors. Good strong 50 amp service and good tasting water. We were parked near the office and the wifi was very good, but we understand it is weak in the back of the campground. The owner says they should have good wifi through out the park in the next few months. Excellent campground to stop at overnight or for an extended stay.
This is a true 10-10-10 park!! Sites are long and level with plenty of room between your neighbors. Sites are well groomed with paved patios and picnic tables. The office staff is very professional on check in and can answer all your questions. The only down side to the park, is you have to pay for wifi which we feel should be free. The downtown area of West Yellowstone, MT is only a short two block walk from the campground. We stayed here in a motorhome and will stay here again next year.
Ponderosa Campground is very nice with a new section of long level pull through sites for big rigs. Office staff was very nice during check-in and very knowledgeable on the area. We enjoyed our stay here and will stay at this campground again when in the area.
We stayed at this campground overnight and was glad to see they have put in 8 or 9 concrete sites with full hookups with 30 and 50 amp service. We arrived early in the afternoon and no one was in the motel office so we could not check in. We drove around the block behind the motel and found the new concrete sites behind the motel and parked on a site. The main campground is across the street behind these sites and the sites in the main campground are all gravel with gravel roads. If you plan on stopping here overnight be sure and stop early as all the concrete sites were taken by 5:00 pm. Be cautious entering the last 3 or 4 sites on the west end of the row, as they are a little steep entering the site if your driving a motorhome. Once on the sites they are level. We will stay here again.
The gravel rv sites are long and level with a good view of the Lander Golf Course next to the campground. Almost all the sites will handle big rigs. The owners are continuing to work on this campground as it's only a couple years old. We camped here in a motorhome and will stay here again when in the area.
We stopped overnight at this campground which was neat and clean. The office staff were very nice during check in and made sure we got on our site ok. The campground is well shaded with big trees which was great on this very warm day. The trees were all trimmed high, so you don't have to worry about low limbs anywhere in the park. The sites were long and level with good 50 amp electric and good water. They offer free wifi which was a plus. This is a nice big rig campground.
