This is a clean friendly park. There seemed to be some residents but rigs are newer and sites are clean and clutter free. Not much room around your rig. Enough to get in and out but really no place to hang out and relax. They have a small pool and I did see a horseshoe pit as well as a little store with game room and TV. Free coffee and pastry in the morning was a nice little touch. Staff was very nice. This is a great place to stay for a few days while passing through. Close to I-5, with a little freeway noise. I would stay again.

This is a nice family park that offers great views and has a nice pool for kids and family alike. There is a hot tub for adults but this is not enforced. The folks that work here a friendly and helpful. The only drawback is if you go with family and they have to rent the lodges, it's $200 a night--ouch.This place is way off the beaten path, you may even think you are lost. Just follow the KOA signs and you'll make it. I was able to get satellite. The sites are dirt and some are shaded. I did see a few bigger A class RVs, but nothing over 35'.

This is a very rustic style campground (which I like), sites are dirt and pretty level. Finding shade may be difficult, but not impossible if you look. Satellite TV comes in good. This is a membership style park, although it has recently opened to the public and I hope to see some of the new funds going toward improvements. This park could be really great. There is a pool for adults only and a larger family pool. Ice cream social on the weekend and the serve dinner Friday night and breakfast on the weekends for a small charge. If you like pavement and green manicured lawn, this may not be for you. This place is quiet and away from town and freeways.

This is a membership style park, although during the winter months the part where members stay is closed and you will be placed in the public part of the park. Member part is open April-Oct then closes to winterize. The public part is pretty level has a fire pit and picnic table at each site and is just across the street from the member section. The member part has tent sites, cabins and RV sites, some sites back the river and are shaded. This park is in the forest and about 30 miles from Yosemite Park via Hwy 120. During my stay there were maybe 10 people and it was very Quiet. Getting here in the summer when it is hot may be hard on your RV as the climb up 120 is steep and slow going. If your are looking for a RV resort this in not your type of place. Camping, fishing, hiking you will like.

Had a great shade spot #221 and was able to get satellite TV from my site with a little effort.I really liked this place had a great big pool and free coffee for members at the adult lodge. Lots to do for both kids and adults. Kind of rustic in setting which I like and there was a small creek running through the park. This is my 3rd time out in the thousand trials membership style camping and one thing I must say is the people I have run into are very friendly. Everyone waves and seems glad to see you.

This camp ground is rustic and not very well kept. Example cigarette butts and beer bottle caps everywhere. Each site has a new concrete picnic table as well as a fire pit/BBQ. It was very busy and kind of loud at night. I brought my boat $21 extra fee and my dog $5 a day extra fee. This is dry camping with no amenities at all. On the plus side, you have lake front spots and a nice view. I had site#100 with a little shade in the a.m. and was able the get satellite without a problem.

This park is wonderful. Located on the American river this is a rustic style park which I like. It has a nice pool area or you can take a dip in the river. I have a 26 foot Class C and stayed in site #73 with 10 feet to spare. I was able to get Direct TV. There is a small store with some goods. There was no 50 amp that I saw and the 30 amp was iffy on hot days. Nice and quiet at night. The manager keeps a tight rope on loud party's. Pet friendly, but no barking allowed.

Rate reflects member discount. This park is rustic and in need of some upgrading. Playground in need of repair and lawns around lodge and restrooms could use water and a little care. With some care this could be a much nicer park. There was a small store in the lodge but I never noticed it open. Some of the RV sites looked like they would be very hard to get onto because of steep driveway approach. On the good side it was very easy to get to from the freeway and very quiet at night. The river was a short walk from my site # 2 and the water was great. I will return and camp here again.

This seems like a nice place. It's a membership style park and the people there all seem very welcoming. Kind of a rustic setting which I like. The pool has adult swim times and there is a lake you can swim in as well. There are several outdoor activities swimming, walking, shuffleboard, mini golf, etc., and is less than 30 minutes to Feather Falls Casino. There is a store on site for the things you may have forgotten. I will return to this park. Quiet at night. I was able to get satellite were I parked, but it might be hard in some areas because of tree coverage.

If you are looking for primitive style dry-camp this may be the place for you. I had site #103 just above the water. I was in a 26 Foot C Class but a much longer rig would fit on this site. Be careful which site you reserve as many will not fit a motor home even though they say they will. (I went in my car ahead of time to pick a site.) My site was fairly level with fire pit and picnic table. No other amenities at this park. No running water or flush toilets, but they say they are coming. I was able to get my satellite easily.
