Stayed here in the off season. Looks like a great place to stay during the summer months. They have a lot to do and you can walk to the beach from the campground. All that seperates you are the sand dunes. Would like to come back again in the summer months
This place is easy to get to and may be a good place to stay during the summer months. Our kabin was dirty and had cobwebs hanging everywhere. The sleeping mats were dirty. when we ran a rag over them it came up black. The showers could have used a good cleaning. We never saw any of the staff the 2 days we were there. They were never in the office when they said they would be. I think if you were a dishonset person you could camp here overnight for free and no one would know the difference. But like i said maybe it's a better place during the summer.
Great place to stay when heading to Yosemite. The staff was very friendly and helpful. There is even a shuttle that will take you to the park from the campground and back, which was great considering gas was almost $3.50 a gallon.
Nice park. Everything was clean and neat, and it looked like they were adding on. We had a nice shade tree to keep the sun at bay, which was nice since it seemed rather warm for June. Great place to stay if your heading to the great Sequoia National Park.
Wow, what a place. I think they had been open a week when we arrived. Pretty wide open, like a parking lot, but the pool area was great, along with the restrooms. They looked like something out of a 5 star hotel. Just stayed one night on our way to Yosemite.
Great place to stay. With all the tall pines, plus not that far of a drive to the grand canyon. They were limited on water and were hauling water in daily. I guess it was due to the drought they were having. If you used the public shower you had to pump up the pressure to take a shower, but if using the shower in your rig there was no problem. We would stay here again.
Stayed here a couple of days and saw the sights in the area and took in some great German food. The staff were very helpful with directions and good places to eat. Campground was quiet even with it being just about full.
We stayed here for 5 days. A lot to do In the area. And lots of fresh seafood from the docks nearby. The staff there is very helpful with just about anything you might need. It has great beach acess also.
Great place to stay if your wanting to visit Fort Collins. Probably only 10 minutes from downtown. A lot to do in the campground. Currently being taken over by new owners that will make it a KOA. Looks like they are adding several camping cabins and other things. Planning on staying here again over Labor Day.
Great place to stay, but you will be roughing it. Not to mention the last 6 or so miles of road is a really rough gravel road. You are just a short walk from cottonwood lake or a half mile hike to lilly lake. Great place to trout fish, hike, or bike. This campground is at about 10,000 feet, not a lot of people due to the elevation, no hookups, and the roads to get there. If you want peace and quiet this is for you.
